Fitness-friendly vacation rentals in Umbria

My wife's comment a few minutes after check-in: "This is the cleanest apartment on Airbnb ever." On site, Marcos' parents, who live in the main house on the property, took care of us: totally sympathetic, hospitable, helpful. We arrived at night and the two waited for us in front of the house late at night. Previously fast, hassle-free communication with Marco in English to coordinate the arrival. The apartment is very spacious, pi-co-bel-lo (!), cozy, functional, fully equipped. The blinds provide a pleasantly cool indoor climate despite the June heat. Parking on the premises, dishwasher, washing machine. Wifi was fast enough to stream the Nations League. The apartment is "countryside" and was perfect all around for two people like us, who set off from here on their Umbrian city tours and on the mountain tour to Monte Vettore.

We had a very nice two weeks long stay! We had the apartment „Rosa“ with 4 adults and 2 children. It was a very big apartment with much space for everyone. Big kitchen, two bathrooms and a very big livingroom. The outer space is such nice with a lot of green and a lot opportunities to sit and relax. Awesome pool! The children had so much space to run and play. The whole accommodation is located between fields. At our stay full with sunflowers! Very good located for a variety of trips. Towns, vineyards and more. Nicoletta were such a beautiful host. Very friendly, flexible and courteous! All in all, we will definitely come back! Thank you!

Andrea was sweet and responsive as our team member for the property. Accommodating, great recommendations and just generally helpful. Place felt like a wine cellar in the best way. Large bottle of Prosecco to kick things off!!!!!

Renzo's apartment was centrally located in old Gubbio and very spacious and comfortable. it was very modern and clean. you can walk to either side of the city easily from this location. There was ample coffee and snacks available. Renzo was very friendly and went out of his way to welcome us, show us the apartment, and make us feel comfortable. I would definitely start her again!

We loved the garden, so peaceful and beautiful area. We went for a few walks along the roads. Easy to reach many different tourist sites.

This place is so beautiful and quiet, perfect for relaxing. The pool area with its views over the vineyards is amazing. The apartment was clean and spacious. The hosts Elisa and Andrea are doing everything to make sure the guests are feeling welcome. They gave us plenty of recommendations, regularly checked in with us and were very easy to get in touch with. We will definitely be back!

An amazing week of rest. The property and garden are beautiful and everything is complemented by a super pool that has just the temperature of the water for steam summer - it will refresh. It's big enough even if there are more people staying. The apartment was air conditioned, clean and very spacious. Valentina was great! She gave us absolutely everything. She recommended where to get to and what to do - taxis, trips, shopping, etc. There is a very strong internet connection, which our sons appreciated. But it was also great for me to be able to work from the garden :-). The city of Perugia is very nice and I didn't expect it at all to have such a beautiful historic center - just most restaurants open there quite late, so if you want to have lunch in the city, then the choice is limited. It's been a great week - I recommend it to everyone.

A breathtaking penthouse! Everything has been carefully chosen. An elegant, clean and welcoming environment, it feels like home! The outdoors are the real highlight! We relaxed in the hot tub and admired a lovely sunset. Robbie was really kind and present. You can see how much care and passion has been put into creating such an environment. We used Roberta’s place to explore the beautiful hill-top villages of Umbria & it was great to have such a comfortable apartment to come back to every day. Although you do need a car to maximise your trip, we did walk to the local winery & also caught the bus for a day trip to Perugia. The swimming pool was fantastic & we enjoyed the beautiful sunsets. Roberta is a friendly & communicative host, yet very much respected our privacy as well.

We didn’t get to meet Giangiacomo but he communicated effectively before and throughout our stay ensuring we had everything we needed and check in was easy. His place is very comfortable, air con works very good, perfect location to restaurants, transportation and sights. Bed and pillows very comfortable too! We didn’t cook but there was everything needed including full kitchen and refrigerator. It was our first time to Perugia and I wasn’t sure where we should stay when planning our trip, but I would definitely pick his place every time we return!! We discovered the ease of Minimetrò transportation, the escalators that took us all the way to the bus station (for free!) right out of the Rocca Paolina castle which was one of my favorite sights and there are still so many places yet to discover next trip. We are so happy we stayed here bringing such an added value to our experience in Perugia!

Another fantastic stay! Kosmas is an amazing host - super friendly and welcoming. I've stayed here twice already and I'm planning to come back for a third time. The apartment's location is great, and I loved exploring the area every day. You get to see a different side of Perugia beyond the tourist spots. There are some great bars and restaurants on the way to the city center, perfect for evenings. The apartment is perfectly set up with everything you need, and the kitchen is fully equipped. Plus, there's a cute little garden for your morning coffee. Everything you need is just around the corner - a supermarket, a bar for cappuccino and cornetti, and even free parking in a nearby underground garage. Highly recommend this place! The apartment is wonderful and equipped with everything. It is in a quiet area that allows you to reach both Perugia and Assisi by car in a few minutes. Really perfect!

We loved staying in this Apartment. The location is perfect. Beautiful views. Excellent for a relaxed holiday, where you can chill out and enjoy Perugia. The kitchen is great, you can cook and eat in every night if you want. The living room is fantastic with a great selection of music and books. Christina was a perfect host.

Everything is really perfect. Really beautiful hotel and super central. All kinds of services and friendly staff. The beds are particularly comfortable. I know where to come back if I go back to Perugia again

We spent our summer vacation here with a total of 10 people and couldn't believe our luck in finding this great accommodation. The location is fantastic, very quiet, and the view is breathtaking. We spent many hours daily in the huge pool, often late into the night, and the beds were super comfortable. Absolutely recommendable! Communication with Dante was great from the beginning, and every concern was addressed. Maybe we will come back again someday. Thank you, Dante!

If you have an idyllic vision of a beautiful Italian villa perched on a hilltop, with sweeping views of olive groves and ancient villages, then Casa del Picchio is the perfect choice. This place exceeded all our expectations, with its huge grounds, gazebo, barbecue, pizza oven, and stunning swimming pool — all completely private. The villa is surrounded by nature, and the only sounds we could hear were birdsong and the occasional chime of bells from a nearby hilltop village. At night, the garden filled with fireflies, giving the whole place a magical atmosphere. The town of Monte Castello di Vibio is just a 10-minute drive away. We dined at the restaurant Adagio, where we felt warmly welcomed and very well fed! We also visited the nearby olive oil mill, I Potti de Frati, and took a tour followed by a delicious picnic. Todi is also close by - perfect for an afternoon passeggiata and aperitivo. We had an unforgettable week that we’ll remember forever and I’m sure you will, too.

Stunning hosting from Marco, he met with us to learn our preferences and then spent time to suggest tailored activities which were all superb. Lovely very quiet location with stunning views. Well designed villa with everything you need.

Nice place with very neat pool. Host was very welcoming and flexible even though communication in English was not very easy. Would still highly recommend.

One of our favorite Airbnb stays so far and we stayed at many. Location is tucked away and very private. Owner is the nicest guy… he did so many things to make our stay amazing. He cleaned the pool at least once while we were there.. it was always so clean! He also aired up our lounge tubes we left at the pool for us… we had an issue with one of the rooms not getting internet and he called his internet guy and fixed it… even though we told him it was no problem. We used the outdoor pizza oven and asked where we could get wood… he ran out and chopped some for us… the list goes on. Stay here and you will love it! You really can’t ask for a more lovely place with a an amazing owner.

Great place if you want to see the surrounding areas. Patrizia responds fast to any questions you have. Nice clean house with a good view on the lake. Walking to Montefiascone is doable, though you have to walk up a hill. All in all great value for money!

We had a great time at the house. There is a big beautiful garden and plenty of space to relax. Paola and Massimo also live on the property, but ensured total privacy. They even let us use their pizza oven. The area around the house is stunning and you can visit the nearby cities by car. I recommend you staying here!
