Bed and breakfast vacation rentals in Umbria

Only stayed one night, but everything was great. Walked up to town for dinner and great breakfast in the AM. Staff was kind and helpful! Will stay again if I’m in the area.

Fabio was a very good host. He offered a perfect stay for my family of 8 adults +1 dog while attending a wedding in Citta di Castello. The location is about a 15 min drive from town but is surrounded by nature and wonderful views of the countryside. The two appartements are very comfortable and beautiful.

As soon as you walk through the entrance of the Bocci Residence you will be enchanted by the beauty of the location... A place immersed in nature where you can relax, but at the same time it has a strategic location to be able to easily reach Assisi, Spello, Rasiglia and the Marmore Falls(to name a few!). The welcome breakfast was fabulous especially for the taste of cakes made by Leonardo's mother (too bad I didn't have it every day!) The apartment on the first floor overlooking the pool has a rustic style but at the same time elegant. I highly recommend staying with Leonardo, an experienced host, if you are in Foligno in Umbria.

I loved my stay with Paola in their BnB. The room was huge, bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was very filling with delicious food. The hospitality show by Paola and her husband was excellent, and I felt very well looked after and safe as a solo female traveller. The BnB is located a very short walking distance from the main centre of the historic part of Spello, and there were a number of great restaurants and lots of excellent shopping with small boutiques with local makers. I’m very grateful for my stay!

The surrounding environment was incredibly beautiful and peaceful. The house is located right by the roadside, so it was very easy to find. When we arrived, we were warmly welcomed by the host’s parents — they were fairly friendly and talkative. They even taught us quite a bit of Italian! Despite the language barrier, we had a truly enjoyable conversation. The room was much better than in the photos — such a lovely surprise! Everything was spotless and full of character. We really hope to stay here again next time!

Staying at Nicoletta's was regenerating, the place is a small paradise where relaxation reigns. Everything is very well cared for, from the extremely clean rooms, the impeccable garden and the breakfast with really delicious homemade pastries. Nicoletta was also very welcoming, she made us feel at home! Highly recommended

TWO NIGHTS WERE TOO SHORT FOR THIS BNB. Laura was incredibly kind and helpful from the moment I arrived in the neighborhood. Before check-in, she reached out to me and even picked me up from the station by car. When I mentioned that I was studying Italian, she explain in Italian and then (lots of time) repeated it in English, which I really appreciated. During check-in, she provided detailed and useful information. She was also a huge help when there was a train strike over the weekend, making it difficult for me to travel to another city. She contacted a taxi driver for me and arranged everything, which was such a relief.

As soon as I entered Bruno's house, I found myself in front of a beautiful house. He matched my tastes in every aspect, down to the details. Bruno is a super helpful and interesting person to get to know. Too bad mine was a hit and run, but having to go back to Perugia often, I'd probably go back to his again. It also has a beautiful private terrace! It allowed me to relax even during this great summer heat. No small feat. Thanks again.

Cristina is the most lovely host. She was so welcoming and communicative, gave lots of great recommendations, and the house was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious, and Cristina went above and beyond helping me find a way to the train station when there were no buses or taxis available on a Sunday. Highly recommend staying at La Casa del Sole!!

We had a lovely stay. A great location and short drive into Assisi. Clean and comfortable room and a great breakfast provided by the host. Would stay again!

Very close to the tourist caves of Frasassi, not only! The surroundings are beautiful. Although we could use the kitchen, we didn't, because there are good and relatively cheap restaurants. Good Italian breakfast with a very good self-produced yogurt. Quiet and comfortable beds, we had a great night's sleep.

We stayed for New Year's Eve at ivo and Claudia. What to say... kind and helpful people. Perfect house, we went in 4 families with a total of 15 people. The setting was suitable for 19 people so we were very spacious. Everything is perfect, highly recommended, we will definitely be back

We stayed at Casa Lola for the strategic location to be able to do a part of the Cammino di Germanico, which starts from Amelia. We were very pleased with the location of the property, its features and the extreme tranquility of the area. In contact with nature, with a beautiful garden, a beautiful view, green spaces. The house is very nice, in a rustic and welcoming style, the hosts were really nice and helpful, the breakfast was good and plentiful. In addition, we enjoyed the pampering of Lola, the host's dog, very good and very sweet, from which the B&B takes its name. We'd love to go back.

The stay at Alvaro's house will be unforgettable, as well as for the excellent location to visit many cities, for the beautiful house, for the peace and tranquility that you can breathe in this place, it will be unforgettable for the extraordinary hospitality of Alvaro and his wife who seem like two old friends. They open the doors of their home and their hearts, two extremely generous and friendly people. We only stayed two nights, but I wouldn't have left. The pool is fantastic and can be used at any time of the day or night, breakfast is served in the garden and by booking you can also take cooking classes. Alvaro will do everything to make sure you don't miss anything, he also runs a restaurant that was closed for Ferragosto during my stay but that will be a great excuse to come back. I'm really glad I discovered this place. Don't be fooled by the photos, everything is absolutely better than it seems!! See you soon. ♥️

Cara Maria, Grazie mille! We had a wonderful time. Maria is so very kind and her Tuscan home is a dream. If you’re looking for a place to wind down and relax - this is it. It’s also very well situated. Just a few kilometres from Castiglion Fiorentino (excellent food) and Cortona (stunning views). We also took the train from Castiglion Fiorentino to Firenze and spent a whole day there. You do need a car though. Generally just a really good vacation that we can absolutely recommend. Leaving made us really sad. We look very much forward to visiting again.
