Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Tsuru

I had a lovely stay at Fujinokura Space in Kawaguchiko. The location is great—just a short walk from the station. The host is incredibly kind, helpful, and gives very clear instructions. He even offers early luggage storage at another guesthouse nearby before the 3 PM check-in, which was very convenient. The house itself is beautifully designed in a traditional Japanese style—floor seating for meals and bedding. It was a peaceful and authentic experience. Only minor downside was that the kitchen could have been better stocked. Overall, highly recommended!

We had a lovely stay! The apartment was clean, spacious, and well-located. The host provided all the necessary information in advance and check-in and check-out were easy. Both bedrooms were large and had air conditioning, which made our stay super comfortable just like being at home. We especially enjoyed relaxing in the living room, where Netflix was available, and there were plenty of booklets with helpful information about Mt. Fuji trips. There were even origami papers and Jenga for some extra fun! The kitchen was roomy and well-equipped for cooking, and the bathroom was perfect for refreshing after a long day of walking. Highly recommended!

Yoshihiro’s place was incredible! My partner and I spent 2 nights here and enjoyed every minute of it. It was clean and cosy and the location was perfect. Within walking distance to the shops, restaurants and all of the major attractions. Not to forget the private observation platform provided by the property! Unfortunately, it rained for our full day here, but on our last day, we were woken to the beautiful view of Mount Fuji. The most incredible experience! The observation deck was perfect - having a private area, free from other visitors / tourists was fantastic. 100% recommend if you’re looking for a relaxing, private (and scenic) experience. Yoshihiro was attentive and quick to respond to my queries. He is very professional and reliable. If I ever return, I will be booking this property again!

This was an excellent stay and a great retreat away from urban life. The Airbnb was very clean, spacious and provided many amenities. The beds were like clouds and the views from the bedroom were like looking at a landscape painting of Mt. Fuji. The location was quite convenient! The street to the Airbnb is right off the main road that circles round the lake. At the entrance to the street is the bus stop for the Fujikyu loop bus. Across the street is a pedestrian access to the lake and where the swans frequent. Many tourists stop by there to take photos of the beautiful scenery and swans. The Airbnb is secluded away from this busy lake road, so it was still a very peaceful and tranquil stay. The host was incredibly hospitable, had great communication and was very friendly and fun to talk. We will definitely be coming back here again!

I love every bit of David’s place. It is located in the peaceful neighbourhood of Joēi, which you can see Mt. Fuji on a clear day. The house is spacious and has everything I need to stay comfortably for a month. There are big supermarket and drug store within walking distance, and with the bike David provided, you can go to a large shopping mall and pretty much all living necessities within 15 min. David and his wife Naomi are extremely friendly and helpful. Recommended me good restaurants and also useful tips to get around. I enjoyed my stay here very much. I highly recommend this place to other travellers when you want to escape the crowd and experience Japanese rural lifestyle.

We had an awesome stay at Eiji's place. The house itself is very interesting and has a lot of knick knacks to discover. It was our first time sleeping on tatami mats on the floor and ended up stacking 2 mats on top of each other. The kitchen was very well stocked and we made good use of the wooden bathtub outside. Very much enjoyed that after a long day. There was no washer and dryer but there is a laundromat that is open until 11 pm just a short walk away. We really enjoyed our stop in Odawara and it was super convenient to be so close to the Odawara Station.

５名で利用させていただきました。ベッドが４つある大きな寝室とベッドが２つある寝室の他にリビングがあります。それぞれのお部屋が廊下でつながっていますので、リビングの音も寝室に届きにくく５名で宿泊してもそれぞれの時間を快適に過ごすことができました。そして非常に清潔ですし、アメニティの他にコーヒーやお菓子などもありすばらしかったです。また利用させていただきたいと思いました。

Everything was just as described, the place was nicely located away from the hustle but still convenient to get around to explore Tokyo and other areas. The apartment was comfortable for 2 people and equipped with everything you need. Hirohiko and his wife were friendly and helpful and always responded promptly to all our messages. They even gave us a little gift when we left. Highly recommended, thank you! 🙏

Great place to stay right next to the train station. Beautiful views of Fuji right out the window. Many shops, cafes, restaurants, and points of interest within a few minutes walk. Stayed for two nights with my family and we had no issues at all. Don’t miss the Forest Music Museum!

Excellent séjour à Hashioji. Gare à 10 minutes à pied et centre de Tokyo (Shibuya, Shinjuku) à moins d’une heure en transport. Endroit très calme avec de nombreux commerces autour. Hitomi est très réactif et a su répondre à mes questions très rapidement. Je recommande et reviendrais lors d’un séjour à Tokyo !

비행기가 연착되어서 체크인이 늦어졌는데도 불구하고 기다려주시고 친절하게 맞이해주셔서 감사했어요..! 주변에 식당,커피 맛집 알려주시고 한국어로된 잡지도 있어서 지역향토음식 후토를 알게되어 맛보고 왔어요😊 아침에 동네산책 너~~무 좋았고, 현관문나오면 보이는 후지산뷰도 멋졌어요!다음에 또가가고싶어요.

Yoshi's place is cozy and comfort. He provided complete amenities. The apartment is clean and tidy. Washing machine and dryer are easy to use. Easy check-in and out. During the night time, the surrounding is so peaceful, we got great rest and sleep during our stays. Definitely will book again if we are going to Fujisan in future. Oh, If you are staying at Yoshi's place, I would recommend an Izakaya named "揺蕩〜yurari〜" with 4 minutes walking distance. The lady boss and staffs of the Izakaya are friendly.

Some people run their Airbnb just as a business, but it's clear that Yudike and Asami have a genuine passion for hospitality and meeting new people. One glance at the adorable guestbook lets you know the level of care and consideration that they put into every aspect of their property. We stayed as a family with one child, and it was absolutely perfect for our needs. Odawara is a wonderful, vibrant, and entirely friendly city that is bound to blow up in tourism over the next few years. Everything is four minutes away -- the station, Don Quijote, Daiso, dinner options, family breakfast chains, a bus to Yunessun. I will definitely be back, and hopefully able to stay at this exact same spot.

My stay was very nice and cozy though the condo building felt quiet. Rei has great taste in design and furnishing to make her guests feel at home. Recommend to drive here so that you could explore around freely.

Wir waren schon zum zweiten Mal bei Yoko und wieder sehr zufrieden. Die Wohnung ist unglaublich groß und alles, was man braucht, war vorhanden. Die Betten sind sehr gemütlich und Yoko hat sich gut um uns gekümmert, sie hat sogar extra etwas für uns gekocht. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall gerne wieder!

Lovely place to stay near Odawara station, quiet, clean and spacious! which is quite rare to find in Japan. Walkable from the station, convenice store right in front of it. I would recommend to other guests. Thank you

Easily one of the best places I've stayed at in Japan. The hosts were very kind and helpful, and the condo that we stayed in was so unnecessarily spacious it felt like luxury.
