The lodge is down an old unmade road away from the village with no other roads or traffic. It’s a perfect stay to get away from the busyness of everyday life with no street lights just dark skys perfect for watching the stars. A great location for cycling with many cycle paths nearby. Swallows Nest is situated in the countryside, with views up to Caradon Hill, you can see the old Phoenix Tin Mine from the lounge window, now derelict, but worth a visit! It is easy to get to both the North, and South coast from Swallows Nest, giving you access to many of Cornwall's beaches and lovely little ports. Further afield are the lovely National Trust houses of Lanhydrock House, and Cotehele. The Eden Project is just over 20 miles away. The cottage has wifi, TV/Netflix/Freeview

The Byre converted barn, is situated on the edge of Bodmin Moor, 4 miles from Liskeard in Cornwall. We have tried to keep many of the old features, when we renovated it from a cowshed. NEW KITCHEN FOR 2022 . Sleeps 4 only - 2 x en-suite. Fully Equipped all bedding provided. Towels provided for cottage use. open plan lounge/dining room. The Cabin. Suitable for 2 Adults + 2 Children

Accommodation for a maximum of 2 Adults and 2 Children up to 16 yrs old. We will not accept more than 2 adults as it is has 2 small single beds suitable for children up to the age of 16. It is a cosy cabin in a peaceful location in the village of St. Cleer just outside of Liskeard. The Cabin is set amongst working farmland on the edge of Bodmin moor. The cabin has been hand built and is fully double glazed; it has an insulated floor and offers a warm cosy feel.
