House vacation rentals in Torridge District

If I had an issue or question the phone numbers provided were very responsive. Lovely house. Big and spacious. Great views from ours. Nice warm temperature inside. The hot tub might not be hot on the first day of book in though.

A fantastic week spent at Otters Den. Max is a great host, the house is absolutely beautiful. Spotlessly clean & everything you need to make your stay comfortable. The pool , games room & petting area is a fantastic addition & kept my family entertained for the week. We didn’t venture out much as we wanted to have a relaxing week but the walks we did go on where beautiful. Max & his family are such kind hosts with the little extra touches, late check out on Easter Sunday, an egg hunt for the kids with chocolate eggs being delivered to our door, supplying us with fresh eggs & topped us up with fire wood when needed ! Communication was great, Max always replied to us within the hour. I would highly recommend Otters Den

We stayed for a weekend and it was perfect. A beautiful property in a very quiet and relaxing setting. Hosts provided all of the information we needed. We will certainly return for another visit in future!

A lovely lodge in a small holiday park, the pool was an added bonus (outside and unheated but nice for a quick dip!)

My friends and I stayed at Louise’s place for a long weekend, and it was a wonderful time. The house fit 11 adults no problem. Lovely and quiet, the pool was so much fun, and we made good use of the fire pit to have s’mores. Harry gave us a tour of the dairy farm & beehives, & let us see the calves which was lovely. Louise was a fab host, very good communicator and always at hand if needed. Great stay overall!

Amazing stay! The place was clean, cozy, and exactly as described. Great location and super easy check-in. The host was friendly and responsive—would definitely book again!

Sabrina n Rich were amazin .and helped with anything we needed . The cottage was amanin had everything we needed .. The only thing i think they need is a welcome pack so u can have a coffee or tea wen u arrive xx Other wise the hole place is amazin pool hot tub n sauna was great to be able to use them n a games room too..ty u so much for avin us we had an amazin time xxx

We didn't spend alot of time there, due to the activities we had planned, but very comfortable and accommodating. Would stay again.

We booked the lodge for my mums 50th birthday treat away with family. It was the perfect home away from home, so cosy and peaceful. Close by to beaches, woodland walks and amenities. We took our 3 dogs and were greeted by even a little treat packet for them along with some fresh scones! Both hosts were responsive to all questions. 100% would recommend and will be back❤️

A fantastic find, great location. Easy walk to the beach, very close to coffee shops, pub and restaurants. Beautiful long sandy beach. The house was perfect for us and our dog. Simon was very helpful and quick to respond.

The Ticket Office is very well appointed and located to provide access to the local beauty spots: Tintagel, Boscastle, the SW Coastal Path, as well as other slightly more distant attractions. A most comfortable and roomy property. We shall happily consider returning in the future.

This place is a little bit of heaven. Alex and Jules were just lovely , made you feel so comfortable and at home immediately. We were looking for a break to simply chill and the Banyan Tree was absolutely perfect for this. We are leaving with heavy hearts as really don't want to leave but all good things come to an end. Cannot recommend this place enough ...we will be back.

It was a beautiful sunny weekend in Devon when we stayed which always helps! It's a narrow road for car access, but easy to drop off your bags and park in a nearby road or in the village car park. The house is cozy and beds are comfortable with smart TVs in the front room and bedrooms. As mentioned in the description the stairs are steep but not an issue for anyone in our family. A couple of the windows didn't fully close, but not a problem as we all sleep with them slightly ajar anyway. Everything works well in the kitchen and bathrooms, there was a washing machine and dryer in a room off the kitchen, useful for damp towels. All in all would definitely recommend and would stay again.

I would recommend Middle Mews for anyone who wants to have a vacation in Exeter, it's really beautiful and comfortable house,very clean and sparkling.We really enjoyed our stay, especially the hot water tub and the sauna wooow, it's worth the money we have paid and Duncan is so helpful and attentive

Fabulous stay at Sharon’s place..home from home, everything you could possibly need in the most beautiful setting. Spotlessly clean, comfy bed, lovely shower, comfy sofa..just perfect. We had a wonderful stay at the cosy cottage. The first hours unfortunately were quite cold, because the house wasn’t heated when we arrived. But we escaped into the warm jacuzzi :) When the house was warmed up it was perfect. The surroundings are beautiful, you can do great walks in and around Lee. We totally recommend it!

We were so comfortable staying at Edds house. It’s one of the nicest Airbnbs we’ve ever stayed in. Everything was carefully thought out and we appreciated all of the small touches (particularly the bag of local fudge!). I would definitely stay here again. Thank you!

Had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft and enjoyed several amazing meals out at places Lucy recommended. We loved the outdoor bath and spending time relaxing in the deck chairs on the little terrace. This area was also perfect for drying our wetsuits after surfing at Westward Ho! With Westward Waves surf school! The wet room bathroom was fab and there was plenty of room and storage in the house. Would love to stay here again and would highly recommend to our friends!

Our family of four had a lovely stay at Snowdrop Cottage. The property was comfortable and had everything we needed for a short break. We enjoyed the views, whether it was the charming village life at the front with its beautiful cottage gardens or the peaceful church and rolling hills at the back. Innana was quick to respond if we needed anything, and it was lovely to receive her kind message of appreciation after our stay. The cottage is in the heart of the village, easy to find, and has the added bonus of off-street parking. It’s full of character, with lovely features throughout.

Fabulous place with all the amenities for us and 3 kids. If anything the photos don’t do justice to how enjoyable and convenient the place is with sheep in field opposite, 30 seconds to great pub and five mins walk to the moors. John was incredibly helpful and went out of his way to make our stay perfect. Highly recommend to anyone who wants to explore this part of Devon.

This lovely property exceeded our expectations. Gorgeous views, amazingly well equipped, fantastic fun with the hot tub and pool table and lots to do near by. It was so well set up for children too, with a little play room and lots of great hide and seek spots. We were all so relaxed and at home we didn't want to leave!

Great place to stay, the road leading down to the drive does have some pot holes so be mindful of that. Fully stocked kitchen for all your cooking needs. Beds and bed lining were very comfy, beautiful views of the lake and the sea. Place was spotless when we arrived. Welcome gift of scones, clotted cream, jam and milk with a welcome card. Cottage is a lot bigger than it looks from the outside. We were 6 adults and didn’t feel on top of each other once. The bottom step of the stairs is slightly steeper than the rest however we had someone with mobility issues with us and she was Absoloutely fine. Andy and Lucy were easy to contact and communication from them has been brilliant. Grateful that they sent us directions as sat nav took us past the turning. Welcome book with lots of recommendations of where to go, free WiFi, plenty of seating books, board games available We had a lovely peaceful stay and would definitely return. I could write more but have no more space!
