The log cabin is situated at the top of our garden next to our house. Access is via numerous steps - this is certainly well worth it for the view. We are conveniently located within the village of Braunton, around 5-7 minutes walk to the centre where there are a great variety of shops, cafes, restaurants and pubs. The Old Workshop. A Cosy Exmoor Bolthole.

The old workshop is less than a 10 minute walk from two pubs - one in each direction! There are amazing walks from the doorstep, a favourite being the walk to Lynmouth along the spectacular East Lyn river via the National Trust tearooms at Watersmeet. The perfect place to stop for coffee halfway! We had a lot of fun converting The Old Workshop into a warm, cosy space, using reclaimed wood and upcycling items such as old beer barrels and old pine furniture.
