Waterfront vacation rentals in Texas City

Very clean & comfortable, we stayed during a visit to MD Anderson. Great host, super helpful & patient with my lack of technical knowledge! We will definitely stay at the Fornix home again!

Visit in mid-June was great! Beach not too crowded. Beautiful accommodations and loved the kitchen! Host was clear on instructions to make our stay perfect! I would definitely book again.

Tracy’s place was everything I hoped it would be. Very peaceful . very clean and welcoming. Whatever you may need in the kitchen, it’s there. We spent a lot of our time sitting out on the balcony watching the fish jump out and the birds flying by. Perfect spot for morning coffee, afternoon reading and evening night cap. Great location for visiting family. Only 10 minutes away, if that. Next visit, we will stay there again. We found our home away from home. Tracy is friendly and quick to respond . She is an excellent host!

The hosts were very responsive and helpful. They sent a list of things my son might like to do once we arrived at the condo, and followed up to ensure everything was going well.

Very cozy place. Felt like home. Great location. Crossing Seawall Blvd to get to the water was easy and could be done with small children. Douglas is a great and prompt communicator. Highly recommend.

Awesome place and exceptional hosts! Place is nicely appointed and well taken care of. Easy walk to the beach and good pool area. Hosts communicate well and are very responsive. Great location to attractions and restaurants without being in the middle of the commotion. Highly recommend this property!!

This house was perfect for our beach trip and it was our toddlers first time! Gina and Alan were so thoughtful to make sure they had the beach essentials they needed! They were flexible and quick to answer any questions/concerns! I would highly recommend and will definitely see if this is available next time we come!

We had a great stay! The location was absolutely perfect right across from shops and restaurants! Close to the beach and everything you could need! We look forward to staying again!

Our stay at the Lone Palm Resort will be forever etched in our minds as one of the best vacations . Jaclyn's home was everything it is described to be and more . Every room was pristinely cleaned, everything you would ever need is supplied, the views, the sunrises, the sound of the waves , the peacefulness that is there is second to none . We couldn't have asked for a better vacation home . We will definitely be back !

Overall had a great stay! A few things to note for future b&bers: The only staircase is a black spiral staircase, which was a little difficult for our older family members to manage. The cooking utensils/food storage is a bit on the sparse side, if you plan on doing a lot of cooking/having leftovers, you may want to bring some cheap plastic Tupperware! The bbq grill/beach gear leaves a lot to be desired! It has definitely seen the wear and tear of previous guests. Which isn’t a big deal, but not something to depend on using without some TLC. Overall our stay was amazing. It’s a dream location with amazing beach access. The beds were phenomenal, and I will miss how comfortable it was. Shannon was an amazing host and left fresh flowers and apothecary items for us leaving the whole place smelling amazing our whole visit. I would absolutely recommend Mermaid manor to anyone visiting the area!

Wonderful two night stay. Just what we needed for our family of 5 with teenagers, 10 year old, and 2 puppies. Wonderful neighborhood with water all around. Kayaking the canals and bay, fishing from the dock, driving just down the road to great beaches, clean and comfy furniture and sleeping, washer and dryer on site as well as kayak and beach supplies, wonderful restaurants in neighborhood or within 5-10 min drive, etc….we just wanted to stay longer next time or buy a home in neighborhood. Thank you for great memories, even for such a quick trip.

Paul was a great host and his home met all of our groups needs. The pool was beautiful and very restful after a long day of soccer games. We would definitely stay here again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! What a pleasant home away from home. Felt like going to “Grandmas” for the summer mixed with a California dreaming vibe. Breathtaking views on the deck and fabulous fishing spot!!! Loving memories weee made as we cooked with fellowship made easy in open concept living/dining area. The beds were super comfy! Thank you… Gareth was the PERFECT host!!! He never missed a post, and we always felt safe and affirmed as family. Thank you so much for your personable and considerate demeanor. You truly lead with professionalism and genuine care. Can’t wait to do business with you guys in the future!

The condo was great - I only needed one night for meeting up with family, not all places will accommodate that in peak season so I really appreciated it. Everything was exceptionally clean, the view was amazing and the property is great. I would definitely recommend for a couple or small family getaway.

Terra and Darin’s place was absolutely perfect for our little girls getaway trip. The unit was exactly as described, very clean and had easy access to parking AND the beach. And it was VERY well stocked. Communication was fast and they even allowed us a little leeway on the arrival time. I’d definitely recommend this place for anyone looking for a beachfront unit in the Galveston area.

The condo is well-stocked with dishes, cookware, and bathroom amenities. There is also a chest on the balcony containing a variety of recreational items for the beach. And there's a full-sized washer and dryer. I'll keep this on my list when I return.

Perfect view of the beach from the balcony. Easy walk to the beach. Beautiful pool and super quiet. Very relaxing stay.

If you are able to reserve cause it's always booked you'll love it! I could live in that place! Will definitely come back. The balcony has ocean view not directly in front of it but you'll get to see it and its right by the pool! Also the ladies cleaning outside keep the building clean along with a great security guy!

Such a cute little condo right across from the beach; and super close to lots of restaurants, and tourist attractions. The hosts were very responsive and very kind. We'll definitely be booking again!

We arrived to a perfectly clean condo. The place was beautifully decorated. Had everything we could need including beach items and sunscreen. When I didn’t read all the directions Jamie Lynn was very helpful with a quick response and a smiling emoji. We will definitely be back!!
