Cottage vacation rentals in Texas City

Wow! Where to start? The view from the balcony gives you a beautiful sunrise to sunset view! From check in to check out, everything was smooth and simple! David and Emily respond responded to every text we sent in aprompt time. The property is beautiful, the extras, including ping-pong, table, and foosball table where great additions. The kitchen has a nice open feel that really allowed us to have a great time as a group! I definitely recommend the stay and would recommend anybody interested reading this review!!

Clean house. Had everything you can think of in the kitchen for cooking / grilling. It was very nice to have a washer/Dryer. Backyard was pretty and loved the outside shower to rinse off after the beach. Michael was very responsive, professional, and kind.

My family and I had a great stay. Every picture and everything listed were very accurate. Geat space and lots of sleeping accommodations.

We enjoyed our stay! The home was clean and cozy. Our favorite part was outside as the backyard was very private with a large privacy fence and a play set that our two children absolutely loved, making it easy to visit with family while they were entertained. Would stay again!

The property is beautiful… there is a view from every window and balcony. You can see the ocean and the bay… unique for Galveston Island. There is a pond directly outside and with the fountain, which kept mosquitos away. The kitchen is good for entertaining a family, and there is a formal and outdoor dining area. I would suggest bringing a bed pillow, high quality pan, and extra roll of paper towels. Alex was nice and responsive. The resort is family oriented and the quiet was well worth the 20 minute drive. We will stay with this host again!

Our stay in Houston was great and the house was a huge part of that. We are a family of four (6 and 3 year old), and this place was perfect for us. The kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. The pool area is very private and landscaped nicely. We would stay here again if we return to the Houston area.

We had a wonderful stay at the cottage! The house is perfect for a family beach trip and Antonio was an excellent host - great communication with all the details needed up front. The ADA beach access was very close and easier to navigate with a wagon than others we’ve used. The place has comfy furnishings and we felt right at home! Specifically, the sofa, beds and linens nice and blackout curtains. We found everything we needed at the cottage: Everything needed for the resort pools and beach (adult and kid beach towels, sand toys, beach chairs, wagon, outdoor shower, etc.). Kitchen: a variety of skillets, pots, and pans, baking sheets, cooking utensils, cups, nice dual coffee machine for k-cup or a whole drip pot. Bathrooms: tidy and stocked with towels, travel toiletries, makeup removal wash cloths Bonus: toys and books for kids, TVs (bunk room, living room, downstairs patio), first aid kit, washer/dryer and deck/rocking chairs to watch the herons and turtles in the lagoon!

Loved our stay at the cottage, actually felt much larger than space appeared in pics. Enjoyed the evening on the deck, plenty of cooking pots/pans/utensils, but also enjoyed restaurants close by. Beach just a couple blocks, very easy walk. Ron & Tony were amazing hosts, made sure we knew how to access property and even recommended a great lunch spot for us to try! Highly recommend!

We had a Great time in Galveston. After taking in the sights, we felt right at home, to rest for our next adventure. The location of this Airbnb was about a 10 Minute walk to the Beach which we took advantage of.

This was our second time to stay at Sarah’s place and we’d just always feel so comfortable and at home. Sarah is a great host. Always kind to communicate, responsive and helpful! The accommodations are perfect for our little family. Our favorite part is the downstairs bar area. We spend most of our time there and really enjoy the sea breeze and relaxation. Thank you Sarah, for another great stay.

My family & I stayed here to celebrate our vow renewal. The Cardinal Cottage is absolutely so beautiful and peaceful and homey feel! Mallory and Melina are such amazing host and really went above and beyond to make us feel special! Our kiddos loved the upstairs loft area! The front porch is so beautiful as well! This place is 10 out of 10!!! I would book this home again in a heartbeat! Also so close by the shopping mall and so many restaurants!

Linda & Gregg were great! The kitchen was well stocked with appliances and extras. Very clean. She made it very easy to extend our stay. Awesome hosts!!

Definitely worth it. Little get away from the city. Whole house to yourself can’t complain about a thing. Beautiful home everything was pretty simple and straight forward. It’s about 7 blocks away from the beach the home is located in a really great spot. Defiantly will be back in the future.

My family and I loved our stay, the location was a block from the beach and Miss Laura provided a list of her favorite places for us to check out. The house is adorable and cozy as can be. Very impressed with response time, one night we accidentally locked ourselves out late and Laura got us taken care of quickly. Plenty of spaces to park in, my F150 had no problem pulling through the gates for the enclosed spot, which came in handy when loading and unloading. One thing to note, if you have kiddos bring a sound machine if staying on a weekend, the bar across the way gets a bit rowdy. Overall we loved our stay and hope to visit again!

This place was great for a quick stay, very beautiful grounds. Host is very responsive and proactive. The upstairs loft did get very hot, even with the AC unit on but it was cozy! Very limited parking after 9 pm. The gate to the parking lot closed and there is only one spot in a gravel driveway so if that’s taken there aren’t many more options. But overall a great weekend getaway spot.

This is our second time staying at the Cozy Cottage and it is every bit as charming and comfortable as we remembered it being. The comfortable furniture and open layout makes this the perfect home base to relax after long days at the beach and all the thoughtful amenities are right where you need them. Thank you again for a perfect stay - we already miss it!

Loved our 3 night stay. The house is very thoughtfully furnished. The quality of the furniture and appliances was of high quality and everything worked!! The beach is a leisurely 10 minute walk from the house. I would highly recommend this listing for a family vacation in Galveston.

We had a hiccup upon arrival but our hosts were very responsive and helpful! The beds were comfortable and the house just felt like home. It was an easy walk to the beach for both the kids and adults! I recommend giving this place a try if you are down around the area!

Cute and quaint little beach house. Very close to the beach! Amenities as listed. Perfect little home away from home. It is walking distance from the beach, but I will say this tidbit- if you’re traveling with kids (we have three littles)- renting a golf cart would be helpful so you’re not lugging kids and all the beach gear in/out of the car to/from the beach all day! We couldn’t walk with all kids, in the heat, with all our beach stuff. Would definitely recommend & return. Thanks, Shiva!

We loved our stay here! It was perfect for our family. We would 100% stay here again. The neighborhood felt safe and it was the perfect location for the activities we wanted to do. This was the cleanest and most organized Airbnb we have ever stayed at. The only issue we had was initially getting into the place, but once get down the locks and doors - it was easy.
