House vacation rentals in Texas City

definitely would recomend this home to anyone the price is more than fair and it's literally close to the beach and the strand i couldn't have found a better spot for the weekend

We absolutely loved our stay here! This was one of the best Airbnb’s we have stayed in. The kitchen was fully stocked, the air worked perfect (this is a big deal in Galveston, I haven’t stayed in many where the house was cool the entire stay) and the hot water seemed to be never ending which was great with 4 teenage girls. We enjoyed kayaking, playing pickleball, and sitting out on the deck at night. The neighbors are super friendly and everyone is so welcoming. Can’t wait to go back!

Wow! What an incredible place and an incredible host. We've stayed at over 30 Airbnbs and this is the only host that has gone this above and beyond - stocking the kitchen in anticipation of our Thanksgiving feast, a doggie basket with toys for our pups, a gorgeous pecan dessert and yummy pasta/sauce on the kitchen table, a zoom call to welcome us and to find out what else we needed (she ordered us more kitchen utensils & a fan from Target). The home feels like a home. Super clean, lots of character - high ceilings, lovely woodwork, lots of light, a sweet fully fenced in yard, and large comfy bedrooms. There are two bathrooms but everyone ends up using 1 upstairs as their main bathroom since it's the one with a shower - not an issue for us just FYI. The neighborhood is super walkable - so many gorgeous homes on every block. Easy to get to the Strand, beach and Broadway. Two thumbs way up for people with or without dogs! Simply amazing. Stumbled across this gem by accident. We loved our stay. The fact that the property comes with a story just adds to the experience. Most rentals you forget about over time, but this one will stick in my mind for years and years to come. I would highly recommend the Kettle House to our friends and family.

Pool was amazing. Very quiet neighborhood but so close to everything! Every time I thought I forgot something I found it there.

Our family truly enjoyed our stay here for a little getaway! Beautiful home, great location, peaceful, cozy, very clean. Our kids loved the pool and already asking when are we coming back. Will definitely look into this place again for a vacation with our extended family in the future. Highly recommend.

This house is AWESOME!! and Ms. Mandy is a GREAT host!! The only small issue we had was the hot tub would not get that warm. However, my family and friends had a WONDERFUL time!! We will love to stay here again!!!

Other than the faint smell of cat pee... which I clean up beforehand anyway everything was great. The bed was amazing and the shower gave what it needed to give. I would book again definitely

This beautiful home was absolutely amazing. We spent a little over a week here and everything was just beautiful. The fishing was fantastic the yard was great for our 3 dogs. This home is the perfect getaway. Evan was very accommodating and really helpful when needed. We will definitely be back.

Sandra was quick at responding to my message very helpful and friendly. I honestly love this house it was so beautiful inside and super clean very spacious and I can honestly say the owner thought about children there was great board games lots to do for the kids in the house so whenever we weren't busy they had always something to do quite neighborhood and just peaceful atmosphere. I'll definitely book again when I come back to this location. Thanks again Sandra we truly enjoyed it!

The house was great. We booked for 12 people for the night before we were leaving on a cruise. We needed more bedding and Hans was great about providing it and telling us how to work the air conditioning control. We had a great stay. Thank you so much.

Laura’s home was great. We had 3 families and had plenty of room and some extra beds we didn’t use. It was about a 25 minute drive to the cruise port. She also provided cold bottled water and that was a nice touch.

Took my parents for a little gateway weekend for their birthday and it was perfect and more. Emilia very kind and fast with replies. Really chill spot and close to everything. Very content with my stay.

Trey is an excellent host!! He is very responsive to any questions. The house is lovely, and the backyard view is wonderful!! Perfect for a small family, or a couples getaway.

The location was perfect! Safe neighborhood walking distance from El Jardin Beach and minutes away from Kemah Pier. The home was clean and it was like the host thought of everything. The kitchen was equipped with everything needed to cook. From a coffee bar, to the essentials needed to grill after a day of relaxing in the hot tub. Playing yard games and or bogey boarding in the beach. Which might I add were all courtesy of the host.

Beautiful place. Really enjoyed my stay here. The house has everything you need . Kitchen fully equipped. It’s peaceful, feels like home, So cozy. I would definitely say here again

Overall the space was clean, bright and spacious. As 2 sisters and 3 boys each Mom had space and so did the boys. The coffee/tea/cocoa bar was a nice touch. Although we brought our own games they do have games and a puzzle available. It was easy to check in and out. The covered porch was really nice to sit and drink coffee and see the water down the street. We ran into three issues on check-in of room 1 having mold from a previous water leak in the bathroom ceiling and the bed bring broken from a previous person. Room 2 had a non functioning a/c. Robert was very responsive and helpful with troubleshooting and was able to fix the a/c and bed within 48 hrs. The other issue was a little more than could be done while the home was occupied.

This home was very peaceful and close to the beach. Having a place to stay on stilts was super fun for the kiddos. The furnishings made us feel at home right away.
