Beachfront vacation rentals in Teignbridge

Beautiful cottage right above the beach in Portwrinkle, with coastal path walks in either direction. Within easy reach of Plymouth via the Torpoint ferry. We had a lovely Easter break there.

Great position of Airbnb overlooking the water. Lots to see whilst relaxing on the balcony. Binoculars were a great extra! Apartment itself was very nice , fully fitted out kitchen, lovely bathroom, comfy lounge area. Made for a relaxing break. Exmouth was excellent . Beautiful beaches, promenade and gardens. Town centre was nice to wander around too - with lots of places to eat/drink. We really enjoyed our short break in Exmouth and will definitely be back.

The host, Julie, was really helpful and responsive to our messages. Beautiful surroundings and the views from the chalet were incredible. We were visiting old friends and neighbours and it was an excellent base. The walk down into Shaldon along the golf course was convenient and stunning but be prepared for the walk back up!! The chalet had everything we needed and was really nicely decorated with comfy sofas and beds. Wish we were there longer and would love to go back.

Wonderful location and comfortable, well designed home. A little village out on its own with so much character and some great walks which are medium hard but good distances either way - to the left in the next village the Cricket Inn is delicious food and friendly staff - to the right a lighthouse. The views and beach really make this place… as well as being a close drive to Salcombe and Dartmouth. The house being is well stocked, stylish and comfortable so makes for easy living. We were a family of 7 and a dog and would highly recommend it. We did a Sainsbury’s food delivery to the house twice to make getting groceries easy and that worked perfectly too.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

We had 8 nights at Jennifer's flat. It was just as we expected and very clean. Booking was easy and Jennifer was very helpful when we altered the booking. Exmouth was a great place for the South West Coastal Path walking that we had planned and also great for some chill days as well. We ate in lots of nights and the flat had everything we needed. There is a lovely view of the estuary from the living room. We also found nice bars and restaurants for the other evenings. Great place, would thoroughly recommend the town and Jennifer's flat. We had a great couple of days here. We had never visited Dawlish before and found it was a lovely place that we used as our base to visit other areas in Devon. Clean apartment, quiet with picturesque views.

A beautiful apartment! From the moment we walked in, we were impressed by how clean, stylish, and thoughtfully designed everything was. The space felt both cozy and luxurious, with tasteful decor, beautiful sea view, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a comfortable stay. The location was also perfect and nice having the hotel next door. The host was incredibly welcoming and responsive, which made the entire experience smooth and stress-free. A stunning lodge located in an upscale part of Brixham. The space was thoughtfully stocked with everything you could need – from a great coffee selection to hot chocolate, Biscoff treats, and even a variety of water. The interiors were beautifully designed with a stylish boho vibe, and the bedding was incredibly comfortable. Thanks to Helen’s lovely place, I had the chance to discover Brixham – a charming, picturesque town with a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

We’ve just got back from a wonderful week at Nicki’s beautiful apartment. The views were incredible! Our boys loved watching the sea tractor going back and forth from Burgh Island, and letting us know when the tide was out and the Beach Barista was there! There was something incredibly magical looking out to Burgh Island, and we miss those views already! The apartment was beautifully presented and furnished to a very high standard. The whole set up is fantastic, and it was an added bonus to have dedicated use of the pool, gym and Deck restaurant. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous home with us. We’d love to return! Fantastic, clean and well-equipped caravan in a beautiful setting on a fantastic site. Hayley couldn’t have been more friendly, welcoming and responsive. Ladram Bay offers so much for a young family and our children loved the site, proximity to activities and the beach. Thank you Hayley and family for sharing your holiday home. We will definitely visit again!

Really friendly host, she was quick to reply to any questions. Caravan was lovely, with lovely views of the sea. Bit of a busy resort, but the kids loved it. Would stay again.

Wonderful - with a beautiful sea view that made it very special. Modern, clean and nicely decorated/equipped. We stayed as four women friends and it was perfect. The only thing I would say is that if you don’t know each other well or are physically large, the space is relatively small with only the one bathroom - which is clear from the listing - but worth bearing in mind.

We had a lovely stay at Anthony’s caravan. The location was ideal for visiting towns and sights in the local area. The site was also nice and quiet but had amenities if you needed them. Thanks for having us.

We have just returned from our stay and it was the perfect choice for a family. Lots to do at the park when some down time was needed and great coastal location. The accommodation was great - outdoor space, lovely lounge area and little touches like high chair and bed rail for our toddler included. Anja has thought of everything you could need and was very quick to help when we needed support on arrival (my issue not a lack of communication from the host). All in all a great choice for our half term getaway and we will certainly book again.

Sanctuary cottage is a beautiful little oasis on shaldon’s stunning green. We loved Jayne’s place - brilliantly located 2 minutes walk from the beach, pub and shops, stylishly decorated, spotlessly clean and super comfortable and cosy. Jayne was great in sharing clear directions for entering, showed flexibility towards our requirements and ensuring we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Highly recommend, would love to return!

The Lighthouse is a quirky little place really thoughtfully designed and decorated…..a small but adorable little find!! Right in the town centre and just a step from the beach….perfect! Host very responsive when needed, and had left lots of thoughtful ‘bits’ around the place…..including fresh milk in the fridge (cow & oat!)!! Would definitely recommend this place for one or two guests and plan on returning sometime!!!

Pippa’s place is absolutely wonderful. Spotlessly clean with every conceivable amenity. They have thought of everything. Loads of lovely little touches and it is way better than in the photos and description. Enormous comfy bed, plush towels, really great living space. It is so well appointed with quality items and beautiful decor. The hosts kindly left us some welcoming provisions like bread, milk and biscuits which was really lovely. It is the perfect location too. Easy walking distance to the village or Teignmouth, in a beautiful peaceful spot. There are wonderful views from the lounge and garden area which has seating in the sunshine. The private parking space is great too as many places in the village do not have this. The hosts provided many recommendations of places to eat etc and were always available for anything we needed. I cannot recommend it highly enough and would not hesitate to come back. Thank you so much for such a fabulous stay in The Annex. We loved it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Boundary cottage! It’s beautifully designed with gorgeous high quality interiors. It was just right for us - two adults and two children. Everything was provided for a child friendly stay (high chair, stair gate, travel cot, kids tableware). The cottage is compact but has made the most of all space for useful storage, it had everything we needed. Highlights for us were the beautiful bed linen, the gorgeous bathroom with uninterrupted views into the fields with the cows and the lovely walk straight out of the front door down the farm track. Our kids adored the cows and the little play area was a welcome occasional distraction!

We only spent a couple of nights at Slow Tides but it was a great base for exploring Shaldon which is a really lovely seaside village. Perhaps not completely ideal for small children (ours are 1 and 4) as the access is via an external staircase and obviously no space for buggies etc but we managed without too much bother and we did think that it would be amazing for a couple or with slightly older children.

We enjoyed our stay at The Salty. Quiet, spotlessly clean with a well equipped kitchen. We did find the top bedroom mattress a little too soft for us, but that's a personal opinion, we chose the top bedroom as it had a lovely view and a wardrobe, It would also have been nice if there had been another bedside table, as there was only one, but this is a small quibble. The Salty is in an excellent location, close to the beach and local amenities, including the Ferry across to Teignmouth and the coastal path for lovely walks. We would recommend a visit to the Botanical Gardens & the Zoo in Shaldon. Overall, a great stay and would love to come back one day!

This was a lovely apartment. Super clean and comfortable and in an ideal position . The view of the sea from the balcony was really beautiful,even better than it looked in the photos. Communication was excellent. Milk and cream tea super appreciated on our arrival . Very handy for the train station too :)

Very helpful and friendly hosts. Offered earlier check in and later check out due to the times the apartment was due to be cleaned, which made things nice and easy without rushing. The apartment had everything you needed even down to good coffee which my husband was pleased about! We slept well, I thought the bed was very comfy and the view from the bedroom and kitchen windows was lovely to wake up to in the mornings. The area is lovely and peaceful, very scenic. Even enjoyed not having great phone signal when out at the beach or the pub. There is lots to see and do in the wider area within a short car drive too. Staying somewhere a little more peaceful and then venturing out was ideal for us. All together a great stay with some friends.
