Family-friendly vacation rentals in Surfside Beach

Great and reasonably priced place to stay that is just located right across the beach and minutes from the pier! Was small and cozy, but had everything we needed for our stay! Would definitely stay again:)

Our stay at this cozy beach house was very positive and pleasant. It’s a nice cute, comfortable house that is conveniently located close to the ocean/beaches and restaurants that we so enjoyed. The house is furnished with everything we needed to make it a nice stay for us all. We were so very impressed with Jim as far as his communication with us from start to finish…. We absolutely had no trouble with him getting back to us whatsoever… his quick responses were very much appreciated- we were very impressed! We highly recommend this beach house in Galveston!!! Great place for two families with toddlers to spend a long weekend! The view from the balcony was great, and the pool and the lazy river were a ton of fun. The room itself was good for a long weekend, but it might have felt a little cramped if the stay was much longer than that. Overall, we really enjoyed this place and will definitely consider it for our next trip to Galveston!

The photos of Doc's Quarters do NOT do this beautiful condo justice! Much prettier in person. Literally everything you need for a stress free stay. The views were stunning. And the Dawn property is very well maintained. We will absolutely stay here again next year and hopefully for many years to come. My family personally loved all the little notes around the condo. We originally got the house for summer 2024 but the hurricane burlin had ruined it and we had to leave after just one night and Gloria was very understanding and professional and allowed us to reschedule for another time. We recently stayed there and continued our stay there and everything was just as we expected, everything clean, everything we needed to cook with was there, the patio was awesome to sit on day and night. She even recommended a hidden spot to see some peacocks and it was a fun adventure. Overall, you won’t regret the stay there!!! 10/10 highly recommended

Scott is quick to communicate, which is awesome. We immediately fell in love with the resort the minute we walked into our room and saw how amazing and spacious it is! We were on the 5th floor, towards the end, so close to the beach. At night I could hear the waves crashing on my right & the infinity pool crashing on my left - I slept amazingly! I loved that we could walk downstairs and right onto the beach, everything was so amazing, I wanted to never leave. Another cool thing about this resort is that there are tons of games and things to do. Movies are available for rent, and there is a little marketplace you can grab snacks, wine, even ice cream! The room had everything we needed. I was hoping there would be some beach chairs to check out, but there weren't any. We bought a cheap $10 boogy board from WalMart and ended up taking it home (Southwest let us take it as a carry on!). I did see they had buckets & sand toys available to check out and that is awesome. The pool and the hot tub were amazing. One of the best little getaways I've had in the last couple years!

Excellent stay-we rent a beach house for our five sons and families every summer-this was the best. Very responsive, attentive host. Very accommodating. Complete kitchen with large pots and skillets for a large group-especially appreciated the griddle and crock pot. Plenty of silverware, dishes, and cups for a large group. Plenty of towels-not just bath, but also beach towels! Great location-just walk across the street to the beach. Loved the beach toys for the kids and even a rake for the seaweed. Three bathrooms AND an outdoor shower! Two downstairs bedrooms were great for one son with a disability and one couple needing quiet from the baby. Lots of games to play and even books to read. Parking was amazing- driveway makes it so no one was boxed in. We really recommend Lucky's Lookout.

This beautiful home was absolutely amazing. We spent a little over a week here and everything was just beautiful. The fishing was fantastic the yard was great for our 3 dogs. This home is the perfect getaway. Evan was very accommodating and really helpful when needed. We will definitely be back.

The size of the house is great. House is beautiful and well maintained. Will look at renting again.

We loved our stay at Tom's slice of paradise! The apartment was ideal for our visit to the area. It was incredibly comfortable and peaceful. The yard with beautiful flowers made it feel like a nature retreat. We will definitely try to book again!

I know my review looks unrealistic because I put 5 stars for everything, but the stay was genuinely that good. The location is great, everything you’ll want to do is either walkable or a short drive away. The place itself was wonderful. We stayed with 7 people and everyone was able to be comfortable and sleep well every night. The large kitchen space was also a blessing when you have multiple people cooking breakfast. The host was incredibly helpful and responsive, and his guidebook for the area provided a lot of great locations for us to visit. All in all, this Airbnb was worth the stay, and I would recommend it to anyone.

We really enjoyed our stay at Neptune's Nest! The host was very responsive for anything that we needed. We enjoyed the beach, playing in the ocean, grilling out, and the views from the outdoor balconies. It was a great space for our group!

Julie’s place was perfect for our family. My son celebrated his 14th birthday there and we brought four other children with him. We used the smoker to grill every night and the kids loved all of the fun activities. Julie was responsive and allowed us a late check out Sunday. Everyone had such an awesome day at the beach. It was extremely close, easy to get to, and we enjoyed all of the boogie boards, towels, and beach chairs provided. Seven seas grocery was really convenient and a three minute drive. All the rooms had TVs and comfortable beds. We had such a great time at Julie‘s place and would highly recommend it.

This was our second year staying here for a week in the summer. The house is such a great little place for families. Very kid friendly, very well stocked. The host, Lisa, is easy to communicate / work with, and very responsive, which is helpful. The downstairs area is lovely as well. We hated to check out and hope we are able to return next year!

not much to say...any problems and gigi took care of...communication was quick.....our stay was short but relaxing...quiet neighborhood...easy access to beaches.....would most definitely stay again but longer next time...thanks!!

WOW! We hosted a quant gathering for my mother’s 60th birthday and all of our guests raved about how spectacular the space was! Wide open spaces, gorgeous views, and special touches, made the Kemah Seaside Retreat the most PERFECT spot for our family festivities. Tim was incredibly responsive while planning all the details, especially when it came to any questions we had! Our family is already asking to plan the next special event here, so I hope we will be returning soon!!!!! THANK YOU!!!
