The stay was absolutely perfect. We felt at home the entire time and Ayumi & her family went above and beyond to make sure we felt like we were at home and answered any questions we may have right away. The area surrounding the home is peaceful, and there’s something special about the small town feel. We can’t wait to return once more during our stay, thank you very much!

We had a wonderful and relaxing stay at the unit, which was perfect for our family. The place was clean, safe, and well-equipped, with a fantastic washer/dryer and a delightful daily breakfast as a bonus. Its proximity to train stations made it incredibly convenient, and the address was easy for Uber and shuttle drivers to locate. We’d love to stay again on our next trip to Tokyo. Thank you to the owners for their warm hospitality and kindness! ありがとうございます (Arigatou gozaimasu)

Motoko was very hospitable, and used some English with us since we couldn't speak much Japanese. She also made us breakfast-to-order each day which was *amazing*. The overall environment felt warm and welcoming, and me and my two co-guests were very comfortable. You should know that this is someone's home with a shared kitchen/living room. You and your fellow guests have a more private living space which includes a washing area, bedrooms and other necessities. (and the host has her own space upstairs as well, so you still have a fair amount of privacy regardless). As long as you're ok with that, this will be a great stay!

今回2人で2泊させていただきました。事前に拝見していたマップの通りに到着することが出来ましたし、道中にコンビニもあるので、何不自由なく快適に過ごせました。 2日連続で頂いた朝食も、もとこさんのご配慮があたたかく、味やメニューを変えて下さっていたりと美味しく幸せな時間でした。本当にありがとうございました！

The room is situated on the second floor, so you can enjoy a nice view of the bamboo forest. You can also chat with the host and the other guest in the living room. We are always happy to hear about your adventures over a meal. If you decide to stay longer, the host can also show you around the area or guide you to where you want to go. There are many activities to do (hot springs, the sea, hiking, ceramics lessons etc.)
