Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Stamford

I stayed with my wife, daughter and son, we had a wonderful time, we walked everywhere locally. Collyweston is a great location, it is near to Rutland Water, Stamford, Burleigh Hall and a number of beautiful villages and attractions. The cottage is peaceful and quiet directly opposite the lovely local church. We couldn't have asked for a better location or a lovelier cottage. We will definitely return as we have much more to see.

Excellent accommodation in idyllic and peaceful surroundings. The annex is beautifully furnished, with everything provided for a comfortable stay. The amazing garden was an ideal place to relax. The area is lovely, close to Rutland Water, with pleasant walks. We would love to return to explore the area further. Our host, Veronica, communicated well prior to our arrival and was on hand should we need anything. Thank you.

We had the best stay at this beautiful cottage. 2 minute walk from a lovely big park which my little one loved and 5 mins into town. The cottage decor was gorgeous and I even brought the same reed diffuser as it smelt so lovely- from freckleface a really lovely store in Stamford. Loved the plants, dried flowers and good kitchen utensils. We will definitely stay here again. Thank you.

This was a great house to bring our family together for an event in the local area. The host was extremely helpful in the lead up to our arrival, happy to answer any questions we had. They were very accommodating and we were very pleased that they were able to offer a later check out. Thank you for all your help and a lovely stay.

Cherry tree cottage is in a great location and is well equipped with a completely private and secure garden. Everything was clean and tastefully done. Our host kept a low profile - perfect for a secluded couple of days away, but was quick to respond when we reached out. Seat on is a lovely village with good walks and great accessibility for the rest of Rutland.

We had a wonderful stay at the Old Dairy to celebrate a special 40th birthday and it exceeded all our expectations. Miranda was a fantastic host, went above and beyond with local recommendations and clear instructions, and the flexible checkout was a much-appreciated bonus! The Old Dairy is a stunning property with lots of great touches and is finished to a high standard - I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it. We also very much enjoyed the daily visit from the 2 lovable labradors!

Beautiful flat in lovely, peaceful village location. Easy access to lake and surrounded by lots of interesting places to visit and things to do and see. Cecilie is a friendly and welcoming host and Lottie the dog is just as lovely. Cecilie gave us lots of good local recommendations. We didn't get to try them all so we'll definitely be back!

Stayed for a month …..didn’t want to leave Margaret is a fabulous host made me feel very welcome , nothing was too much trouble , explored the area with Margaret’s help found places would not have necessarily checked out. We had a lovely stay. The apartment was beautiful and very well equipped. The beds and sofa's were very comfortable and Phillip was a lovely host. The location was excellent. I would not hesitate to stay again.

Great location in a pretty and peaceful village. Provided a much needed relaxing break. Enjoyed the nearby walk accessed through the church yard with the view of the countryside beyond. Clock Cottage is a well thought out property. Open plan, providing comfort and calm. All essentials plus added extras; the luxury of the rolled top bath & bath robes, a welcoming box of treats & drinks. Fairy Lights added a cosy glow above the bifold doors at night. There's also a great spacious bathroom with a fab shower. Can easily divert between the rainfall and hand shower heads, with plenty of hot water. Loved the beautiful garden and patio area. Private access from on street parking right outside through a separate gate with stones and level paving leading to the bifold doors. Established beautiful trees, shrubs and flowers edge the property and grounds with a lovely large lawn to enjoy in the sunshine. My dog did! Rutland Water is a short drive away. Will return to explore more.

I loved my two nights at this charming place. it's right in the centre of the beautiful village and one minute from the Nevill Arms - a fabulous village pub/restaurant/hotel. I was there to walk the St Morrell's Round pilgrimage from Hallaton and this was the perfect base. Frances is a lovely host - highly recommended.

We really enjoyed our second visit to Kamal’s lovely apartment. It’s rare to find somewhere so well equipped with so many thoughtful touches. It’s in a great location, too - lots of bars and restaurants nearby, and you can get to most other places in Leicester with a short taxi or Uber ride. And we couldn’t wish for a better host in Kamal. We wouldn’t consider staying anywhere else in Leicester.

We had a wonderful stay, it was peaceful and relaxing. The property was clean and welcoming, with useful information at hand. It had everything we needed and was just right for visiting family in the area. It was great that we were able to take our small dog with us and had some lovely walks in the area.

This tiny space is cleverly designed and to a very high standard. Immaculately clean. Claire has ensured you have all you could want, including loads of toiletries and tea and coffee. There is a nice dog walk near by and you’re about a ten minute drive from Corby, Kettering and market Harbourough. The spread eagle pub is about 15 minutes walk with a nice beer garden. This compact and bijoux place gets 5 stars from me!

The stay was beautiful and perfect. It was clean and cozy. With access to a private garden and a quiet area, it was perfect for quiet evenings. The city centre is close by - 10-16 minute walk. Christina, the host, was friendly and responsive! Would definitely book again!

We had a wonderful stay at the Hayloft! The space is beautifully done — modern, cosy, and spotless, with everything you could need. We loved the peaceful countryside views, the woodland walks, and meeting the animals. It was a perfect escape. The hosts were thoughtful, and the welcome pack was a lovely touch. Highly recommend!

It’s the best AirBnB we’ve stayed in. Sue has thought of everything. It was homely, cosy, beautifully decorated, very comfortable bed. It was lovely sitting in the conservatory eating our meals and looking out on the garden watching the birds. The kitchen had everything we needed and the welcome pack was a very lovely touch. The shower was lovely and hot. It was a lovely base to start our exploration of Rutland and we are already planning our next trip back. I had an excellent experience staying at this apartment. From the moment I arrived, Mihir was incredibly welcoming and helpful, making the check-in process seamless and stress-free. The apartment itself was immaculate — very clean, beautifully presented, and exactly as described in the listing. It’s spacious with a well-thought-out layout, offering plenty of room to relax and feel at home. The bed was especially comfortable, ensuring a great night’s sleep, and all the furnishings were modern and high quality. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. I would absolutely book this apartment again the next time I’m in Leicester and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free experience.

A really lovely Airbnb right in the centre of Uppingham, easy to locate and walkable to all the restaurants/market etc. Sue and Dave are friendly and super helpful and were flexible with our timings - couldn't recommend it more for a stay in Uppingham! Thank you!
