Lovely place to stay with family. Only downside was strength if Wi-Fi! When you have a professional gamer in your party this can be annoying! Other than that the place was ideal for us visiting as a family, comfortable beds, with lovely walks for our little dogs too..thank you

What a fantastic place. Bath in the bedroom, Sauna in the bathroom, hot tub outside. Very private and secure. Staff were very good. Can’t wait to stay again.

Absolutely perfect from booking to checking out. Richard is an incredible host with everything you need. If you have kids, this is the place. Our 6 and 4 year old loved swimming multiple times, reading the kids library of books and playing with the many toys at the house. You can’t get any better than these hosts and this house.

What can I say about The Firs? The word luxury doesn't do it justice, as soon as we walked through the door we were in ore of the building and it's surroundings. The amenities were fantastic, our personal favourites being the balcony with sun lounges, hot tub and pool table! The house is also decorated with a stylish, luxurious The decor. The kitchen is a stand out feature The owners were reliable, had brilliant communication and even gave us a recommendation to a beautiful restaurant called Quayside Hotel! They couldn't do enough. The on site groundsman was also super friendly and even borrows us his tandem bike! We will be back next year!

Great location as half family in the north and half in London. Took bikes and did cycle routes round Rutland water. Also did paddle boarding. Love it and hope to return to discover more in the area. House was awesome , lovely welcome pack of chocolate and Prosecco; staff on site super helpful. I did notice the week after we stayed was £ 200 more per night - which I suppose is school holiday/ high season. As we are retired, this would be quite expensive for us.

The Rectory Cottage was wonderful. Well-appointed, stylish, and in a great location. Joanna was the perfect host. Accommodating and always available to answer questions. Will stay here again on our next visit to Stamford.

From booking - checkout Michelle & Steve were the most amazing hosts. Incredible communication, flexible with check in & check out & very personable. As for the property, it’s gorgeous. We were a family of 5 adults and the house suited us perfectly. It’s finished to the highest possible standard with everything you could ever need (and more!). The personal touches gave the properly a very luxurious feel. Thanks so much! Should we return to Spalding in the future, we’ll be sure to be back x

What a superb cottage, set back from the road in a very quiet and peaceful location looking out over fields. The cottage was immaculately clean and beautifully appointed. Very comfy bed and lovely powerful shower plus bonus of a private outdoor seating area. Michelle is a great host and I highly recommend this property.

As soon as we saw the Garden House we relaxed straight away, it is a perfect place to unwind and enjoy the beautiful scenery and birds. Isabel’s handbook had lots of information and great instructions to walk around the estate and meet the sheep. The welcome pack was superb! Thankyou! We slept so well with the bird song waking us. We did venture out but it was great to get back to the comfort of the Garden house. I met Isabel who is a wonderful lady. We do hope to be back again Mary and David

Anna’s cottage and garden were even nicer than the photos. Lots of little touches that made the stay feel even more special and welcoming . The area is beautiful and we had great weather. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend a stay here.

Third stay, that speaks for itself. Perfect location, central but hidden away. I just love the apartment, feels homely, quirky, individual. Always very special/ memorable staying there.

We especially appreciated the quirky quality of the furnishings, which made the place feel unique and thoughtfully curated. Beautiful property in a stunning location. Melanie was very attentive, greeted us on arrival to make sure we had everything we needed. Well equipped kitchen and really exceptional that all bedrooms have en-suites. Lovely touch with the fresh eggs, milk & bread. Local pubs within walking distance that serve good food. Would definitely recommend staying here and hopefully we will return next year

Great stay in Orchard Yurt-outdoor space is great and private, with brilliant options for the British weather including under cover seating and novel greenhouse kitchen which was great in the rain! Brilliant facilities.

Great location, two minutes walk to Rutland Water. Cottage was very clean and tidy. Charlotte lived close by so was able to give us help if we needed it. She suggested a visit to Stamford which we did. Oakham is close with plenty of places to eat. We had access to her lovely garden and so were able to sit out there.

Love Craig’s place for visiting my friends in Peterborough. Second time here and wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Clean and comfortable and has everything you need. Thank you for another pleasant stay 💕

We stayed at Marita’s place over night, it was peaceful, clean and comfortable and Marita was a friendly and responsive host. I would recommend staying here.

We had a great stay at Gareth and Rosie’s. The house is very spacious and has all the necessary amenities to keep you really comfortable, including fans in the bedroom for the hot weather which was a massive relief. The area is beautiful and very peaceful, highly recommended!

Adie made us feel very welcome, and made sure we had everything we needed. He left us bread, milk,cereals,teabags,coffee and even a bottle of wine, etc. We were just a little surprised that we had to be out by 10am, we could have done with a little longer. It was great that the dogs came and visited as we were missing ours. Thank you Adie for a wonderful place to lay our heads and get ready for our granddaughters wedding.
