We had a lovely stay at John's cottage. It's in a great position for getting out and about. Everywhere was lovely and clean. Unfortunately we couldn't take full advantage of the cottage as we were only there for 2 nights for a wedding weekend. John gave perfect information and exactly where it was and kept in touch to check everything was ok for us. The perfect host I'd say.

We have just returned from a week in Dalemore Cottage and could not have wished for more. The cottage itself is set in the most glorious location and the inside is just as good. Comfy bed, well equipped kitchen and beautifully furnished. Pru and Chris were the most welcoming of hosts and Pru’s home cooked meal service was excellent, I even asked for some of the recipes. If you are looking for a quiet spot, in a fabulous location with excellent hosts this is the place for you.

Ash hosted myself and my Groomsmen the night before my wedding. The location was perfect (right next door to the venue), the house was beautiful and very homely! The scenery was outstanding and a very relaxing outside setting. Ash was an amazing host and went the extra mile to provide as much convenience as possible. I fully recommend anyone to stay here. We had such a wonderful stay at this lovely spot in Tean. It was a beautiful find. peaceful, cozy, and perfect for a relaxing getaway. Sophie was a fantastic host: friendly, responsive, and clearly thoughtful. The little touches throughout the house made it feel extra special and welcoming. We couldn’t have asked for more. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again

We had such a lovely time here - a beautiful location and little touches that made us feel so welcome and at home. A lovely private, peaceful location, ideal enclosed garden space for the dog to run around in and gorgeous views for yoga and meditation outside. It was lovely getting to know Shirley and Maurice too, really was a great stay. We’ve never revisited an Airbnb but are already thinking about coming back - Louie the dog loved it as much as we did 😊

absolutely perfect spot for our overnight for Alton towers, disappointed we hadnt arrived earlier to enjoy it for longer but it was everything we needed, clean and well appointed and thanks for the welcome biscuits the kids demolished them!

Lovely barn conversion in beautiful countryside. We even got to see some new born lambs on the farm. There is plenty to do in the area. Barbara, the host is very helpful and the property is extremely well equipped.

We had the BEST weekend here and are already looking to book again! It was so peaceful and also lots to do - we must have done everything! Ping pong, darts, kayaking, bbq, swing ball etc. Our two little dogs had a lovely time too. Only issue we had was flies, so will bring citronella candles next time

Lovely clean flat. Very convenient location for our trip. Private parking spot extremely valuable for the Peak District.

We had a fantastic stay at Richard’s place. It was perfect, nice and quiet and in beautiful surroundings. Richard was super responsive and very helpful! Highly recommend!

This was an absolutely gorgeous place to stay, very clean. Felt very homely and nice to relax. Fab little outside area to relax in. The flat is lovely, exactly as described, clean, well designed, and with everything we needed. The location is ideal for walking into Buxton and also for wider travel around Derbyshire. We’d definitely recommend Andrew’s accommodation and would stay again.

Pauline as a hostess is very welcoming and great at communicating promptly. The accommodation has a well equipped kitchen. Pauline thoughtfully stocked the refrigerator with fresh milk before arrival. The premises being on the outskirts of a peaceful village is tranquil and comfortable.

Although this was simply somewhere to lay our heads while exploring the area, we really couldn't have wished for better. We found the annexe to be spotlessly clean; with everything we could need. Thank you very much to Dan and Holly, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We only stayed for two nights for a quick fly through visit, but we were really impressed with the flat. It was clean, tidy and comfy. We loved all the little details Sarah added in, so many recommendations on things to do and she even left us milk and biscuits for when we arrived. Really wonderful spot, great value for money, will be booking again.

Stayed for 5 days. It was a very cozy house. It was clean and tidy. There were shopping malls and restaurants nearby, which were within walking distance. The owner responded quickly and actively. I will stay here again next time. Thank you.

Beautiful place. Very close to the Peak District and things in Buxton.

A well equipped apartment above a hairdresser’s salon. A good location for the pubs and restaurants in the town. Very clean. We would stay here again. However, we found parking to be a problem. The one time we used the allocated space we regretted it. As mentioned by others the access is very narrow and difficult to get out from without risking scratches to the car. We were out during the days and by the time we got back there was no road side parking left either.

Loved our stay, very clean, cosy and central. Lovely outside sitting area, next to river and gets sun in the morning. We enjoyed alfresco breakfasts. This was our 3rd stay, visiting family and friends in Macclesfield. Greyhound friendly which is fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! Angus is a fabulous host, warm, welcoming, and incredibly attentive. His home is absolutely stunning, with decor that’s truly to die for. Every detail has been thoughtfully considered, making us feel instantly at home. Wirksworth is a charming village, full of independent shops and cosy cafés. As first time visitors to the Derbyshire Dales, this was the perfect introduction, and we’re already looking forward to returning soon.

stayed for a total of 5 nights, spotlessly clean and space large enough for 2 people. off street parking, so quiet, well stocked fridge with jams milk etc. I really liked the bedside table that included to USB charging points. will definitely stay again when I am next visiting

We were really delighted by how spacious, and comfortable the apartment was. Max is a wonderful thoughtful host! There was a bottle of wine, and a pint of milk in the fridge for us when we arrived. This is a spectacular accommodation in an utterly beautiful setting. I recommend Max’s place. You will not be disappointed!
