Tiny house vacation rentals in South Lakeland District

This is the third time I’ve visited Andrew’s shepherd’s hut and yet again I wasn’t disappointed living up to the photos and description. The linen, towels and accommodation are all spotlessly clean. I’ve never stayed anywhere more than once but I’ll come back here time and again. It’s a perfect location to relax and unwind or for exploring the county. I’d thoroughly recommend.

Little hidden gem....."The Dairy" is a cute little place to stay if you want away from the hustle bustle of the busier areas i.e Liverpool/Manchester but close enough to travel to. It's well equipped with everything you would need for a break away, we were only there a few night's but could have definitely stayed longer. The outside open garden accessed from the bedroom is so peaceful to relax in after a busy day or having your morning coffee. Easy access to shops for groceries, fuel station etc...highly recommend this place wouldn't hesitate to stay again. P.S - Phil thank you for the paracetamol it was a god send 😊

Arnside is magical and we had the best time. The space was really nice and perfect for what we needed. Location is really great for access to woodland walks, and the town is just down the hill. Great restaurant called JJ Crossfields that had really nice food and the staff were lovely! We just had a really nice time in general :)

We had a lovely stay and really enjoyed our time on the farm. It was a shame we couldn’t stay longer but we were so pleased with the late check out, thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub and loved our little hut. Thank you to Dot and her team for being so welcoming and for a great trip for my birthday. Only downside is that we never got to meet the infamous Tommy cat 🙈 Thank you again and we will definitely be back xx

We had a fabulous stay at Hingabarn, a remote beautiful place, surrounded by wooded countryside with so many flower-filled meadows. Barn itself very clean with a well-equipped kitchen, and a very generous welcome pack! The drive up the track was fine, as per instructions just have to take it slowly and carefully. Thank you Paul and Barbara, we will be back!

Absolutely beautiful! So close to town but sitting in the garden feels really private and secluded. The house has everything you need, even for a rainy day indoors. It's beautifully clean and there's such attention to detail in the fixtures and fittings. Lovely quirky touches without feeling cluttered and just incredibly homely. The pillows were so comfy I had to look at the label and go and buy some! Samantha was aways quick to respond, friendly and helpful and a pleasure to book with.

This Shepherd’s Hut is gem on the Pennine Way. The hut is very sweet and cosy and perfect for a night or two. View from the window is over the sheep fields and we spend the evening sitting outside, watching swifts, swallow allows and house martins circling above us. The host could not have been more friendly and helpful and we felt at home straight from the start. We couldn’t recommend this place any more especially if you are hiking the Pennine Way and want somewhere special to stay.

Ashley and his family were great, very helpful and friendly. The shepherds hut is spotless and has everything you need. It is so peaceful and the views from the hut are absolutely amazing. We very much enjoyed our stay. Thanks very much.

We had a fantastic stay! The lodge is in a perfect location with a beautiful view from the balcony overlooking Lake Windermere. The lodge was very clean and comfortable. The perfect place for a weekend away in the Lakes!

We had a lovely stay. It was my partner and I’s first trip away and we had our doggie too! Instructions were very clear and was able to find the lodge easily when using What3Words. The lodge was in impeccable condition and we were welcomed with some milk, butter, bread and doggie treats! Thank you so much! Gorgeous area that we’d like to return to one day! Highly recommend. Thank you Judy for such a great weekend. The property is lovely, ideal for some downtime with stunning scenery all around. The kitchen is well equipped, clean and functional, thank you for the extras in the fridge and bread bin. Bathroom very clean with good shower and toiletries. Beds were wonderfully comfortable with all of us having a really good sleep. Parking was both very good and secure. All in all a beautiful little ‘hide away’ in an idyllic place with everything you might want for a brilliant holiday.

We had a fantastic stay at the pods, perfect for what we were looking for. We had a few things booked in at Kenal for my partners birthday, but we wanted to stay somewhere quiet and with amazing views where we could kick back and relax. This ticked all the boxed. A very comfortable, well maintained, fully kitted out pod, with amazing views in the middle of the country side, and just a short drive to Kendal and other places around the Lake. I would definitely return. Thanks Loran for a lovely stay.
