Absolutely amazing place to stay for a little break/get away!! So peaceful, amazing view and scenery. Host is very friendly and communicated if needed. Immaculate lodge very clean and cosy! Would absolutely recommend, will definitely be staying here again :)))

This lodge was beautiful with amazing views over Lake Windermere from both the deck and the living room. The weather was a mix, but honestly, it was stunning whether it was raining or sunny, though the sunshine definitely made it even more magical. The lodge itself was spotless and had everything we needed, making it feel super cozy and like a home away from home. White Cross Bay Holiday Park was a great spot, really peaceful and in a perfect location for exploring, whether on foot or by car. We’ll definitely be back for another stay!

Had an amazing stay at the pod! The place was spotless when we arrived, very private and peaceful. Can’t express how nice the pods are will defiantly book again but for a full weekend

an absolute lovely stay for me and my partner, hot tub was extremely hot so had to let it cool down a lot, place was clean neat and tidy, julia was an absolute star and was so lovely and gave a proper run down on the hot tub etc, bed was so comfortable and clean, such a cute private area for a little getaway will definitely return for more nights !! thank you so much for our night was extremely special xx

What an amazing place to spend a lovely few days to celebrate a special birthday! Charlotte is a fabulous host and was more than happy to answer any questions we had.  We were provided with clear directions to guide us right to the lodge, and there was lots of very helpful information about the lodge, the surrounding area and attractions. On our arrival the lodge was immaculately presented and well equipped with everything we could possibly need. The lodge was very spacious and comfortably accommodated 7 adults and our Border Collie. It felt welcoming and homely, and Charlotte had put a lot of care and attention into preparing the lodge ready for our stay. My family and I were blown away by the  stunning views of the lake, and the hot tub was a bonus. We even had a visit from a family of swans who were keen to show off their beautiful baby cygnet. Thank you for letting us have the pleasure in staying at your fabulous Lodge. We will certainly be back, hopefully soon!

Me and my partner stayed here Friday - mon and had the most amazing time. Nathalie was so welcoming and helped us find a brilliant Sunday roast near by. The interior was stunning we would definitely come back again!

Thank you for such a lovely stay. The whole family are so welcoming & made us feel at ease from the outset. Angela could not have provided more from the thoughtful welcome pack right through to dressing gowns & slippers. The hot tub was amazing & loved by my daughter, she also wanted me to say how much she loved the bed (very comfortable). The lodge & bedroom with bathroom were fully equipped & spotless. It was a pleasure to meet the whole family including the dogs who were so friendly with an added bonus for my daughter who got to play with Angela’s granddaughter. There was nothing more we could have wanted during our stay from the accommodation through to the surroundings. Thank you again we will be back x

The Burrow is an absolute gem, set away from the hustle and bustle of busy towns & cities. It’s very peaceful and relaxing. We woke up to the birds singing their dawn chorus, and even heard a few owls after sunset. We must have arrived during frog spawning season, as there were hundreds of baby frogs making their way across the gravel track in front of the pod. That in itself was an incredible sight. It has everything you could possibly need (including tea, coffee, sugar, milk etc, cooking herbs and spices and a little bag in the bathroom incase you’ve forgotten an essential item). The hot tub was incredible! We needed more fuel for the burner and a hand getting the fire to stay stable - in less than 15mins Kate had it all sorted, and we had a lovely hot bath, that was still hot when we checked it before bed, approx 4hrs after it had got up to temperature! Everything was spotless, the decor was stunning and Kate has thought of every little detail. Perfect in every way. Thank you.

We had an absolutely amazing stay, the pod was great it had everything we needed and kept us warm during the very rainy nights we stayed there. The only downside was the road getting down to the pods as our car wasn't so suitable for the off road which we didn't realise (our own fault for having a very low car and not completely reading the description). But other than that the stay was amazing and we will 100% be back in a different car! Thank you for making the pod so welcoming and allowing dogs!!

We had a fantastic stay at Paul and Julie's. They went above and beyond to ensure we made the best of our time at the cabin. The cabin itself was cosy and comfortable, with all the perks of the surrounding nature. We would highly recommend this airbnb to anybody who would like a little retreat. Thank you, Paul and Julie!

We had a lovely stay at Marion’s place! The pod was in a beautiful area and the facilities were all immaculate, with toilets and showers being a few steps away from the pod, and there being a hob and fridge freezer in the pod. Marion was very responsive and helped us with our queries

Lovely and comfortable stay! The kitchen was equipped with everything we needed for a cute girls trip in Lake District. The cabin comes equipped with Netflix and it’s so close to Windermere centre.

We had an excellent stay at Christine’s place in Warton! The house was spotless, well-kept, and perfect for our whole family. Beverly was extremely friendly, welcoming, and always quick to respond to any questions we had. Her hospitality truly made us feel at home. Excellent location and highly recommended—we’d definitely stay again

We had a wonderful stay at Brenda’s pod! The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and full of peaceful farm vibes, which made for a really relaxing getaway with the family. We especially enjoyed the BBQ area and spent a lovely evening cooking and chatting outdoors. The pod itself was cozy and well-equipped, and Brenda was a fantastic host,very responsive, helpful, and kind throughout our stay. Highly recommend for anyone looking to unwind in a beautiful, nature-filled setting!

What a relaxing, beautifully appointed and tastefully accessorised lodge. We had everything that we possibly could need and the lodge was clean throughout. Additional garden was a bonus had the weather been better. We will definitely consider booking again in the future. Thanks Alma.

Wonderful lodge exactly as described! The host provided clear instructions was super easy to check in and out. The cafe on sight was lovely also. Not too much to do around but lovely scenery for walks. Will definitely be returning

I would have liked a black out blind on the door to pull down at night because I like a completely blacked out space to sleep in. Realise this prob not an issue in the winter but birds are awake at 5 am in the summer time . Lovely place felt right at home and walk into bowness got easier everytime esp on way back. 😂👍🏻thank u

We had a great weekend in Jennie’s cabin. It is located in such a beautiful setting, very peaceful and scenic. The cabin offers a large entertaining space with plenty of amenities. The beds were super comfortable. The hot tub was a fantastic indulgence to chill in on a cold evening. We will definitely be returning next year.

Highly recommended. Spotlessly clean, nice size for two couples or family of four. Perfect location for exploring the Lakes. Car park space on doorstep. The rest of the sight looks well maintained and cared for. No litter.

Wonderful stay at deer cabin, very peaceful with the sound of birds and private. Lovely cosy cabin and very clean. Nice added touch with robes and snacks. Hosts were super friendly and helpful, would definitely recommend staying here, just what we needed! Lots of things do in surrounding areas too and locals all very friendly

Every single detail — from the beautifully set-up kitchen to the cosy fireplace — was so thoughtfully put together. The lush green surroundings and lodge-style charm made it feel like a peaceful hideaway. We had to use up some precious annual leave to make this trip happen — and honestly, it was worth every single day! If all holidays felt this relaxing, I’d be submitting leave requests a lot more often! The place was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed — it truly felt like a home away from home. We had an incredible stay at the Roost. The perfect relaxing getaway. Most of the time, the only sounds we could hear were sheep, chickens and the sound of a trickling stream. The house itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with everything we needed. Shirley couldn't have done more to make our stay comfortable, and I hope we get the opportunity to visit again I'm the future.

We had a lovely stay! The summer house was very clean and tidy and didnt want to leave to the point that we stayed an extra night. Its hidden out the way so your privacy is guaranteed. The area was beautiful and the hosts were an amazing couple and so friendly we really did feel at home. When we finally left and checked out of the summer house the hosts didnt rush us off the premises and offered us to chill on their terrace area for a cuppa before our very long drive home. I would highly recommend this place, please don't hesitate and book it. Thank you to the hosts for making our stay so lovely x
