After a lovely night in the garden house, breakfast is served on the jetty next to the large pond. With a cup of freshly brewed coffee in your hand, you look out over the beautiful, park-like plot where there is always something exciting to discover. With Lake Mälaren's glittering waters just a short walk away, it's easy to be lured to a swim at Stockbybadet. We are close to the big city but still in the countryside and with walking distance to both a grocery store and a lovely pastry shop, you will be happy to stay a little longer.

Stallet

The small stable that is from the 1600s has been converted into a small guest apartment. There is no running water here, but there is an old-fashioned charming little kitchen with modern equipment. The toilet consists of a modern incineration toilet. A shower with hot water is available in an adjacent building. The farm is located in a quiet ancient village surrounded by forest and arable land, but with idyllic Mariefred and Gripsholm Castle around the corner. On the farm, you get along with dogs, cats, chickens and beehives.

Kakelmakargården B&B, lake view central Mariefred

Room in courtyard house on cozy courtyard in central Mariefred with lake views of Lake Mälaren. The farmhouse is connected to the Kakelmakargården from the late 18th century. The room has a double bed (which can easily be split into two single beds) and a sleeping loft (a single bed). Free parking in close proximity (1 minute) to the house. A couple of minutes walk from restaurants, shops. 500 meters to Gripsholm Castle, 300 meters to Tucholsky's grave at Mariefred's churchyard, views of Lake Mälaren.

The house has large, cosy rooms, fully equipped for family, friends and food buffs, located only 45 min by car from Stockholm & 30 km to beautiful Mariefred.

A 22-33 sqm Double studio with a queen size bed suitable for up to two people. The room is beautifully designed with a functional kitchenette with various kitchen tools and utensils for all of your cooking needs. The kitchenette also has a fridge, freezer, microwave and stove to complete your stay. The desk and dining area will let you comfortably stay for longer and short term periods. All our apartments have a television and free access to Wi-Fi. Feel at home and stay easy.
