Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Shibuya

Great location! Quieter little side street right in the middle of the action in Shibuya. Very comfortable beds. Clean and bright. Very safe neighborhood, close to great restaurants, shops, parks and train station.

The air bath was excellent. There’s nothing quite like bathing and showering in nature warmly and sanitarily. The house is creatively designed, using every nook well. I enjoyed experiencing natural light from unexpected places. It’s quite the contrast to Shibuya, which we wanted so we could sleep well. Yet, it is still surrounded by cool cultural and spiritual things from shops to food to Shinto shrines and sanctuaries. I would definitely stay again!

Five stars all the way. Kan was a wonderful host & this house was magic. Everyday was made only better knowing we were returning to this home. Would recommend 100%.

Ko an Yuko’s place is beautiful. It’s a 3 floor standalone house in an awesome location. You can reach anywhere in Tokyo within a 10 minute walk to the station. The neighborhood itself is peaceful and quiet and it’s hard to believe that within a 2-5-10 minute walk how many great restaurants there are. The famous shibuya scramble is also around a 10 minute walk. The home itself is beautiful full of amenities that you could need in a bnb. Kitchen, bathroom, rooms all are well equipped and easy to use. The best part ofcourse are the hosts they personally greeted us and spent a long time explaining everything about the home and the neighborhood. They are really nice people and they care a lot. Ko and Yuko are very thoughtful, warm and friendly people. It was lovely to have made such nice friends.

It was better than I thought!Not only did the children enjoy it, but the adults also enjoyed seeing the children in a way that they don't see in their everyday lives.There is also a supermarket nearby, and if you are coming from a rural area, you can buy what you want to eat at the service area on the way and cook it in the kitchen, so you can enjoy one meal in a way that is very different from a typical trip.What you can see inside the Holy Planet is just like being in the universe, and I was able to experience an extraordinary feeling that I had never experienced before.

Miho is a spectacular host! The home was absolutely beautiful and perfect for our family of 9. It was a perfect walking distance from Shibuya while also nestled in a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Miho was also very responsive and provided clear instructions for check-in and check-out. It was so simple! Miho also was very accommodating with proving a spot to store our luggage after check out for a few hours. They went above and beyond our expectations! If you are looking for wonderful place to stay near Shibuya look no further!! 🤩

Yasu was the most thoughtful host! He kindly came to pick us up from the station and was so helpful with recommendations and information. There are adult bikes available to use. When we asked Yasu, where we could rent a bike for our 6 year old, he bought one for him! Our son was over the moon and loved cycling around. We explored many parks, and we didn’t cover all of them. I can highly recommend the Traffic Park, for kids. They have bikes and go-carts for the kids(for free). The house is really lovely, spacious and comfortable. Our son, had the room downstairs. He loved the mini foosball table, and having a huge room all to himself. There were welcome snacks and the fridge was packed with food and fruit! The location was also terrific for getting around. We loved it here, and would definitely come back again!

I honestly don’t know where to begin. Staying in Keiko’s home was truly one of the greatest honors of our time in Japan—it was a highlight of the entire trip. From the moment we walked through her door, we were immersed in Japanese culture. Keiko greeted us with warmth and kindness, making us feel immediately at home. She patiently guided us through everything, showing us how to use her space with care and respect. Her home is a reflection of her spirit—graceful, serene, and full of beauty. I was deeply moved and inspired by her presence and generosity. Being invited to take part in her traditional Japanese tea ceremony was an experience I will never forget. She took the time to teach us the rituals and meaning behind each step, explaining everything with such clarity and heart. She dressed us in beautiful kimonos, carefully helping us put them on the correct way. Drinking matcha that was pure and fresh—words fail me. It was unlike anything I’ve ever tasted. Great location - right in the heart of Shibuya. Very snug, but expected in Tokyo. Really enjoyed the stay and found it a good base to explore the city.

This was a great place to stay, really close to Shibuya station and Shibuya in general. Everything was clean, bed was comfortable (minus the pillow), lots of amenities. I would recommend this place to stay.

Thank you for making our stay in Tokyo so wonderful! We enjoyed staying in the apartment very much. It was very neat and tidy, with everything we needed (including a steamer which was very handy!). Hanako is a great host - very responsive and provides recommendations as well. Apartment is located in a perfect spot - in a quiet area, but also close to the train station which makes it easy to get around. Definitely recommend Hanako’s apartment for your Tokyo stay!

Great place in the middle of Shibuya! This was a great location with so many stores and restaurants nearby. Would recommend this to anyone looking to be within walking distance from everything! It was a small space but we didn’t mind as we were out most of our time in Tokyo. Thank you Sou, we had an amazing time!

We really enjoyed our stay at Satoru's apartment. Everything was very nice and clean. Satoru was very thoughtful and provided an excellent description how to reach the apartment from the train station. Even with step by step pictures, so you really can't get lost. He even left us an umbrella for the rainy days. The apartment is very cute and gives your stay a traditional Japanese style. Everything was very welcoming and well stocked. He really thought of everything! 10/10 would book again!

We had a great stay at this unit! The place was very clean, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. The host was very responsive and helpful, which made our stay even more pleasant. While the location is walkable to nearby transport and shops, it’s a bit far from the main center, so do expect a little walking or short commute. Overall, it’s a great value if you’re looking for a quiet and clean place with a helpful host. Would definitely recommend to others!

Tatsuhiro’s home was a perfect place to stay, great connections to Shinjuku and Shibuya. The hosts were very responsive when we needed help and very kind to provide free snacks and recommendations! I highly recommend this place to stay.

We loved staying at Shimbashi West Section L! Concierge was extremely warm and welcoming. Check-in and check-out was extremely smooth and easy. We loved the entire vibe of this place! The lounge was comfortable and had a tea, coffee and soft drink station with some snacks that you could help yourselves with. We arrived Wed and they have happy hour where they featured a few drinks for self serve. The overall room was thoughtfully designed and had storage under the bed. There's a bench, table and chair for you to sit and have meals. The room was furnished with appliances and their app had instructions. There were 2 ac units. The water pressure was great. The toilet & shower was a bit larger and there was counter space for stuff. In the halls, we could hear families with kids - the rooms were soundproof very well. We tried the sauna which was a great way to wind down and relax. I'd highly recommend staying here, it's clean, thoughtfully designed and made us feel right at home!

Sho's flat is a perfectly located room in a neighbourhood which is fun to explore - tons to do, all within walking distance. The nearby temples/shrines are sublime. Take Sho's excellent food recommendations - all of which turned out to be exceptional; recommended walk to the gym/pool also great. (Within blocks, there is a restaurant-filled quarter - incredible variety.) The walks themselves are scenic, and the location convenient to virtually all of Tokyo. Sho was always kind, helpful and responsive. The room is a great place to crash...do bring earplugs, though, as you are at the mercy of the guests upstairs (who may not walk on tiptoe.) The character of the small room is that of a simple hotel - it is not very personal or apartment-like. The bathroom is comfortable, clean and functions well. Although the check-in process sounded quite elaborate, it ended up being easy. Choose this place for the location and exploring ...and for a good night's sleep, as the room is small and simple.

Host was very responsive, and listing matched descriptions and pictures in the listing. The unit is 3 min walk from train station, which is really convenient. Host explained how to use all appliances. Quick response from host whenever we ask any questions. Would highly recommend this place!!

We had a lovely stay at Shunki’s place! Everything was clean and spacious with easy check in and out instructions. The location was convenient to the train station and we had multiple convenient stores and shops for our every day needs. We were welcomed with a box of treats when we arrived and it was super sweet! Highly recommend :)

Superb stay in Shimokitazawa. We really loved the area (enough going on but not as mental as Shibuya). The apartment was a great base for a few days and the tub was a bonus. Thanks, would stay again ⭐️
