Lake house vacation rentals in Seneca

Was a beautiful home, and we would happily stay again. We arrived right after storms had passed through and had no power for for first few hours. Hosts were very accommodating in making sure house still got cleaned and ready even without power. They offered to refund our first night if wanted to delay coming, and were keeping me posted almost hourly of updates. Was no fault of theirs, just Mother Nature. Loved the kayaks and all the board and card games. The deck and views are worth the whole place. Even provided s’mores supplies to make. Also the beds were extremely comfortable! Could not have asked for a better get away. Would love to return!

We stayed at the Keowee Luxury Lake Cottage for 10 days. It is in a great location. The Marina is right next door, so it was easy to rent a boat (they offer a discount for people who rent a cottage). The lake is beautiful, the cottage very comfortable and the host was super responsive to any question. We would definitely stay here again!

The home is very cozy and has a great view of the water even during the summer months.0 We LOVED having the grill. We made the best ribs on it one night. AWESOME!

What an amazing stay! The lake house is so unique, and there is so much to do without even having to leave. It has three separate levels with a room and bathroom on each. The upstairs has a jacuzzi tub overlooking the beautiful lake. The morning fog on the lake from the third floor is magical. The bottom floor is the perfect place to hang out with your entire family, as there is ping-pong, darts, pool, and board games. We had an absolute blast and would book again. I can't imagine how much fun it would be in the summer with warmer weather and the lake. Everything was spotless and immaculate, and the location was extremely safe and close to everything you needed. Host was excellent. Highly recommend!

Perfect home for a family or group. Very spacious and clean, fully stocked kitchen we cooked dinner every night! The dock was perfect for tanning and swimming, our daughters also loved the kayaks and paddle board. Very peaceful location. We would highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a lake trip! The house is great, the location and view are perfect, and the host is very helpful and responsive. The house had a lot of great amenities, perfect for a family. Boat rental was super easy, and we enjoyed using the kayaks and standup paddle boards. Our young children loved the beach area, and the adults enjoyed the Hottub. The lake, of course, is beautiful, and the fishing good as well. We’ll definitely return.

Cathy was great at communicating and fast response and very helpful. Papa's house was amazing. We all enjoyed our stay at Papa's house and we all where ages from young adults to 65, and we all have great memories playing in the lake and swimming. We enjoyed the open space in the kitchen to the living room. we cooked most of the time and where happy to have everything we needed. we also enjoyed the restaurants near by. neighbors where friendly.The house is beautiful and spacious for a family I highly recommend Papa's house. This was the perfect place for our family’s lake vacation! We had so much fun swimming and fishing off the dock. The location is perfect - Publix is 2 mins down the road and the Keowee Marina is walkable right across the street. We had breakfast outside overlooking the lake every morning, and s’mores by the campfire at night. The kitchen was my fave place to be because you can see the sparkling lake from there. Great bedroom views in the upper master as well. It’s a trek down to the lake but just made us all the more ready to hop in when we got there, worth it! Kayaks and canoe provided is awesome! All the rooms were comfy and the place had everything we needed for a memorable week. We’d stay here again for sure!

We rented Michael's house for a weekend kayaking trip on Lake Jocassee. The house is absolutely lovely and the location inside the state park was perfect. Michael is a very responsive, considerate host. I've already booked our next stay!

Three generations and our dog had a great stay at Portman’s Paradise. It was perfect for our group size. The accommodations were exactly as shown in the photos and the home was clean and spacious. The loft room was a great additional space to relax. The view was beautiful. When the power went out in the neighborhood, the host was quick to reach out and let us know, keep us updated and was responsive to answer our questions.

Great cabin! We enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle board which were easy to launch at the boat ramp down the street. Home had much more space than we thought which was a nice plus. Owners are very responsive and also provided good recommendations. The home is near (15-20 minutes) from Harbor Light Marina which is convenient for renting boats on Lake Hartwell. Awesome experience for my family of 6!

We absolutely loved our stay! We had 5 adults, 7 and 9 year old, and two dogs and everyone had the best time! Plenty of room to spread out with a large group. The lake water is calm and large area to swim all around the dock. From our coffee and breakfast on the back porch, to swimming and boating during the day, to hot tub and swings early evening, to dinner, games, and cocktails at night… this house has everything you are looking for. I love that this house allows for pets but doesn’t smell like animals. They have dog bowls ready for your furry family members. Very clean and updated spaces. Nice large living areas upstairs and downstairs for comfortable seating for a crowd. Great area to waterski or tube after you get out of the idle area without all of the boats and choppy water like north side of the lake. The hosts were very responsive and friendly! 10/10 experience

we had a great time on lake Hartwell. everything about the house met or exceeded our expectations. Will come again for sure.

We enjoyed our stay, house is amazing

We used the house as a base for my daughter's wedding! It was the perfect home base. The living spaces were large and gave us lots of room to do wedding projects. We loved playing pool, air hockey, corn hole, and ping pong which was great since the weather was rainy for most of the week. The sun finally came out and we enjoyed the kayaks and jumping off the dock. I would definitely recommend this place and will visit again.

Logan was an amazing host, super helpful and we will stay there again. It was everything we eanted and can't wait to stay there again.

We had a fantastic stay here! We had 4 families and everyone had enough space! We loved the downstairs game room, the fire pit, the big open garage to play games, the double decker dock, all the amenities and all the extra space! It was perfect! Erica was a fantastic host, providing a detailed instructions guide, lots of recommendations, quick responses to questions and such a friendly demeanor. What a great weekend full of wonderful memories!

This deep water front cottage is absolutely magic. Adorably decorated and rare location on north end. Crystal clear water and several great new restaurants. We will make it our summer rental

Even with some rain, we had a great stay. We still enjoyed the fire pit, hot tub, fishing, canoeing, and hiking, in addition to lots of games for the kids. The place was cozy and clean, and the host was quick to respond and helpful. Would definitely come back.
