The view from the place is absolutely beautiful! We just followed the host’s instructions and had no trouble finding the location. Would definitely recommend this place!

Once again. Our second visit to The Noddle. Top review for this wonderful property. Lots of quirky lovely additions to the decor. The hosts fabulous artwork on the walls throughout were a delight. All we needed was at hand, and plenty of room for all 6 of us on our mahjong game tour. Clear instructions for all the carefully maintained heating units and other electrical appliances and all wall switches/sockets clearly labelled. Lovely maintained house and garden-including the 'secret garden'. A great decking with comfy chairs to sit in the sunshine and listen to nature... and count the bunnies! What more can I say.? Thank you Tony and Penny for letting us stay in this wonderful place.

Wallace Lodge was by far the most beautiful and peaceful of our entire trip. The house was the perfect mix of modern amenities with a rustic feel, everything from the private Loch to the sheep in the surrounding fields made our stay even that much better. Wallace was a most helpful and gracious host, from letting us check in s little early, to showing us how to work the appliances. The hot tub overlooking the private Loch was the icing on the cake for this amazing place. would definitely come back here for a vacation.

Located right next to Black-watch bar/hotel at the top of the town. Easy walk to Menzies castle, fun walk to the Birks, and it was made even better by the once a month market we got to stop in and buy fresh local goods to cook with and artisans to buy keepsakes. Wonderful place and would love to stay here again!!!

What a perfect spot to enjoy the beauty of Skye. Everything was wonderful, and the garden was delightful.

We had an excellent week staying at the Old Shop. The accommodation was very comfortable and was finished to a very high standard. Everything we could have needed was supplied. Robin & Michelle were very friendly and welcoming. I would certainly recommend this accommodation and if, or when, we return to Uist we will certainly try to stay at the Old Shop again.

We spent a wonderful week at Hollybank with our kids & extended family. Hollybank is situation in a beautiful Glen - it’s remote, peaceful & set amongst a stunning backdrop of mountains. We loved: - The peaceful area - Spacious/modern house - Well equipped kitchen - STUNNING views!

We came for 2 weeks of vacation in a place very different from Los Angeles. We were not disapointed and loved our stay! Josephine was super helpful and the house was warm, welcoming and very well equipped. Thank you!

What a hidden treasure! We absolutely loved the location and the space was perfect for us. Even when we had a slight hiccup it was resolved efficiently and with no disruption to us. We would defintely book again. Many thanks Kim!

We really enjoyed our stay! The cottage is very cozy and had everything we needed for a relaxing break. Our toddler especially loved exploring outside and had a great time running around the old Kirk next door. A lovely, peaceful spot—we’d definitely stay again!

The accommodation has everything you need and a lot more besides. It’s incredibly comfortable in every aspect. Views from the decking of the loch are stunning. We had a most enjoyable stay and highly recommend to anyone wanting a luxury accommodation in a beautiful and tranquil location.

This was such a wonderful getaway for our Family. Being tucked away in between the hills with only the sheep and lambs was phenomenal. The house and garden were just beautiful and a perfect size for our family. We would definitely love to return.

Lovely overnight stop on our Hebridean cycle adventure. Unfortunately not time to explore more. We did stop at the wonderful community cafe & shop for breakfast Buth an Rubha, Cafe Roo & would highly recommend. Great communication from Melany & loved all the local touches at her place.

Absolutely lovely place to stay! House was spacious, comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. We were lucky with the weather so out most days, but evenings were spent playing pool or sat in the front room enjoying the amazing views over the loch and the Cobbler (worth a climb!). Location wise it is great for exploring the area. Loch Lomond and Luss are only 10-15 minutes drive away (check out Firkin Point on the way to Luss for a lovely walk and a beach which is great for swimming from). The house is right on the shoreline. and great for swimming. There steep steps down by the house or a ramp at the end of the driveway), short pebbled beach, great for wild swimming. We saw plenty of wildlife, including a seal on one day! Overall we had a very enjoyable stay.

Very nice apartment to stay, we all had our own beds and they were very comfortable. Kitchen was good equipped, hot tub was very nice and the living room as well. The location was easy to find, a bit of a ride to Isle of Skye but totally fine! Would definitely recommend it :)

This is the second time we’ve stayed here. The house is beautiful and in a great location right next to the water. Everything is tastefully decorated and very comfortable. The views over the water are so relaxing. The Kilcreggan cafe and The Creggans pub serve lovely food. The decking area outside is great to sit and relax. Highly recommend!

We had the most amazing Xmas in the boat house, the location was spectacular and so peaceful. Hannah was very accommodating and answered all our questions very quickly. Would highly recommend a stay at the boat house to anyone wanting some rest and relaxation. A little slice of heaven.

Wunderschönes Ferienhaus mit atemberaubendem Ausblick. Alle Zimmer des Hauses haben Ausblick auf den Loch Broom. Die Küche ist so gut ausgestattet, als hätte hier mal jemand dauerhaft gewohnt. Angus, der Gastgeber, hat uns im Vorfeld mit vielen Informationen versorgt sodass wir das Haus leicht gefunden haben und auch bezüglich Sehenswürdigkeiten und Restaurants bestens bescheid wussten. Das Haus war sehr sauber und mit Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet. Die Große Sammlung an DVDs und Gesellschaftsspielen hat uns besonders gut gefallen. Von der Terasse aus genießt man bei gutem Wetter den "Million-Dollar-View" auf Ullapool/Loch Broom und jeden Tag wechselnde Schiffe. Die Betten sind bequem und die Badezimmer gut ausgestattet. Vielen Dank Angus für einen wundervollen Aufenthalt. Dieses Ferienhaus ist ein Geheimtipp und wir kommen sicher mal wieder!

We were greeted warmly by Susan and Peter on our arrival and knew immediately that we had chosen the perfect cottage for our holiday. The cottage is very well equipped and there is an abundance of wildlife to see and the most beautiful scenery to enjoy. We explored the area on foot, in the car and on our bikes and returning to Kennel Cottage at the end of the day was blissful! The view from the cottage garden is breathtaking. Thank you to Susan and Peter for sharing this beautiful cottage. We hoped for tranquility and lots of wildlife and we weren’t disappointed. We saw more than we even hoped for. We would definitely stay again. Communication throughout was superb. Thank you so much!

We have a lovely stay and enjoyed the amazing views!! Elizabeth was incredibly responsive and quick to help when we needed anything. We would highly recommend! There are two small things to just be aware of in advance. 1) There are quite a few stairs getting down to the home. Just a caution for anyone with mobility impairments. 2) Selecting “get directions” through Apple Maps or Google Maps in the listing link does not take you to the correct place, nor does manually typing the address. You can get there by using the home’s coordinates or searching for Auchenheglish Mid Lodge.

Wonderful place that feels very secluded. Easy in and out of town with a car and the setting of staring at the bay and the surrounding farm animals is all you could want. House itself is great. Would stay again in a heartbeat.
