From the central Corso Umberto I, where you can park the car, you can only reach Casa Celeste on feet by taking a narrow street and several flight of steps - as is the case with most accommodations in Modica - but it is definitely doable. The house is in San Guglielmo behind Santa Maria la Nova Church, is the old part of town. Is a beautiful and quiet location. The house is made in a traditional way with wood and stone floor and thick walls, there is also a terrace in one side where is possible to have dinner or drinks looking at the Padre Pio square and enjoy the night breeze. Is possible to reach Scicli with a bus from Catania airport or Comiso, although having your own car to visit the neighboring area is recome

The Stone Raven - Corto Maltese
