Very clean cottage in a great location! Easy and flexible check-in and setting was great.

Very cozy cottage with no end of space: You can spend time in a spacious cottage, veranda, terrace, home, yard, beach, lake. From the yard sauna, a short walk to the beach, which, due to its depth and dark water, is not suitable for toddlers to swim. Beautifully decorated and put together that you wouldn't want to leave🙂.

I stayed with some friends for 1 night, the cottage is cozy and clean, with a fireplace we loved and a big sauna with shower. Although surrounded by other cottages, it's still quiet and private and with a lovely view on the lake Saimaa. Indications were super clear and whenever we need we asked and got replied quickly. We really enjoyed!

We enjoyed our five nights at Kari-Pekka’s very comfortable and spacious cabin. Best of all was the spectacular lakeside setting and surrounding forest. The silence was astonishing and the tranquillity truly transformative. Sitting on the pontoon and looking out over the expanse of water had an almost dream-like quality. It was utterly beautiful.

The apartment was very clean and spacious. The apartment was located on a forest ship, so the outdoors was easy and effortless. Riikka responded quickly and was very flexible with times.

The villa and the surroundings are very beautiful. We much enjoyed our stay in the villa and the peacefulness and beauty of the whole area. If you have a chance to stay in this place, don’t hesitate. The hosts were very helpful and friendly.

We had a wonderful stay at this Airbnb! The house was well-maintained, clean, and fully equipped with everything we needed, especially in the kitchen, which had all the essentials for cooking. It was perfect for our family stay. The service man was excellent—very helpful, responsive, and accommodating throughout our visit. Their assistance made our experience even smoother. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and hassle-free stay. We would definitely book again in the future!

quiet place are 3 cottages a few tens of meters from each other in a secluded area with access to the small but fishy lake surrounded by woods. near the magnificent punkaharju esker and comfortable (about 1h by car) from parks such as kolovesi and linnansaari. about 1 hour from laappenranta airport. Valentin, the manager is very kind and helpful. Recommended.

A kind, spacious house away from the hustle and bustle on the shore of the lake. 2 saunas (one in the house, one on the shore, but quite untidy). Luxurious view from the windows, nice patio/terrace, large and well-maintained area nearby. A great place to connect with nature, the nearest supermarket is about 10 km away. Of the disadvantages, water from the tap is unacceptable for drinking water from the tap (only with you!), due to the increased iron content, all plumbing looks extremely untidy. More than a meager BBQ area - 2 dirty chairs and a barbecue are very old, tiny and killed by life (there is also gas from the hosts, but without gas), and clearly brought by tourists. There are logs, but there is no axe. There are no less, the hosts are very pleasant and friendly people, and if you take into account all the disadvantages and prepare for them in advance, you will have a wonderful time. I had the most lovely few days at the White House in Parikkala. David is an extremely kind, helpful and attentive host, who ferried me to and from the station, was always on hand to help with any questions I had and even rescued me when I got stranded out on the lake in his boat! The house is spacious, very comfortable and well kept, and the area is full of exciting things to explore for anyone who loves nature! I would highly recommend a stay here.

We spent three wonderful days at the cottage and enjoyed our stay very much - especially the lake and the sauna. The peaceful and quiet woods are perfect for relaxing. And Savonlinna with its awesome castle Olavinlinna as well as the world’s largest wooden church in Kerimäki are just a short drive away. If we’re in the area again, we will gladly come back here!
