Cottage vacation rentals in Savonlinna

We had a magical stay. Everything is beautiful, the setting, the accommodation, the beach, the sound... even better than the photos suggest. Uta is a very considerate host, and kind and ready to give good advice on things to do in the area. I would highly recommend it. If we have the opportunity we will happily come back.

We had a wonderful week at the property. The location, amenities and layout are great. It is worth renting the motorboat. Unfortunately, the toilet was broken, which was not so easy with 6 people..., but Jukka accommodated us directly in terms of price. We would definitely go there again!!

We - parents and three big children - searched for three days and found them in the house, collected berries, reach swimming in 5 minutes, fishing, rowing, jogging, using the sauna daily and enjoying absolutely quiet nights. In front of the house there is a large terrace with a great barbecue, which also has a hot plate - so we cooked and ate almost exclusively outside - only in the evening we are in the house and were able to use the cozy atmosphere. Summer kitchen offers everything you need. Drinking water was sufficiently provided to us, two good organic toilet outside. Everything is fine - we highly recommend Tuula and her house.

Antti’s home is terrific. Even much better than in the pictures. Beautiful lake, saunas, jacuzzi, comfortable beds, big TV with Disney for the kids, barbacue… Antti and his wife were so nice. They borrow us their paddel surf and our kids enjoyed a lot with it. Even they borrow us a row boat. Thanks for being so kind. Very very recommendable place.

We had a really nice stay at the cottage from Severi and would definitely come again. It was great to use the rowing boat to explore the lake.

The place is great! Raija's cottage is compact: small, but well-equipped. Our group of 8 people fit comfortably to spend the weekend. The cottage and the barns were wonderfully cool even though the outside temperature was already higher. The vaulted sauna offered incredibly wonderful and gentle saunas for the whole group at once. Raija gave comprehensive instructions on how to use the cottage. I'd love to come back to the place sometime! 👌🏻

As described, a neat cottage where we had a good time with two dogs for one night. We also went to the sauna and went swimming. Nice beach. The weather was cold, so we didn't spend time on the terrace. In warmer summer weather, I would have enjoyed the scenery even more. Puucee is neat. Quiet location.

The place is even better than the pictures. Beautiful nature and peace of mind make you relax. The kids found frogs and lizards in the yard and were excited. The water is warm and from the end of the dock is a good jumping. Be sure to bring small floats as the beach is deep. There are plenty of outdoor games and things to do in the yard. Inside is a fierce collection of movies to watch. The kids and adults were very comfortable. We already miss back!

We spent a weekend at Sanna’s place and it served our family of five well. Very calm and peaceful place right by the lake. Cabin is well equipped and functioning.

Elsi is very nice and helpfull host.The Pikku Mökki is lovely right on the waters edge,can watch the lake also from the window.Sauna has gentle heat,best sauna I have been to.

Great place with beautiful lake and beautiful jetty for fishing or swimming. Wonderful sauna, also for bathing. We have enjoyed it. Got nice tips from Marjatta for walks, she is very helpful!

Really liked that place a lot. Super simple which makes it an nice little adventure just by living there. even though, the next house is not that far away, I felt like being completely alone. To get to the Lake you have to walk downhill through trees and green, felt like going through a little jungle. stayed there with my dogs and it was perfect, really good to walk, almost no one on the road. The Host is very friendly and contacted me after a few days if I'm fine or have any questions. if you want to be in a quiet place without any luxury, this is the perfect place to stay! Enjoy!

Great place to calm down. We love the view.

Beautiful log cabin with an indoor sauna. The place was clean and free of clutter. bed was very comfortable and I finally got some sleep without hearing cars or people. There is also a very charming outdoor sauna next to the lake that looks like a tiny fairytale cottage.

We enjoyed the listing very much. The farmhouse was idyllic and had all the necessary equipment for the stay and being. You could have peace of mind in the house from the rest of the world. The yard is large, a good lakeside sauna, and a big plus! As a host, she was nice and communicated well. We might as well come back! :)

Excellent environment, very nice, pretty, well-equipped houses (with a pluriel). It would be a good idea to specify that the toilet is 100m (outside) from the main house. If you are a couple sleeping in the same bed you can stay in the cabin near the beach and be near the sauna/shower and toilet (+bed, TV, kitchen, etc.). On the other hand, with friends, you'll stay in the main house which is 100m from the cabin's toilet (the only toilet). This is still a detail that you have to get used to:D Apart from this detail, everything was perfect, the aperitif on the terrace of the cabin during a thunderstorm overlooking the dock and the lake was magical! The bedding is very good quality too and the kitchen is very well equipped. Kaisa, the host, is very responsive, available, kind and helpful. If you are looking for a very peaceful private place with private lake access, all very well equipped, do not hesitate:)

Great place and location! Very peaceful and private. Slightly difficult to find but follow the instructions "How to get there" from Airbnb and it takes you to the right location. Egor is very responsive as we checked in at midnight and called him for help and he responded. Only improvement point would be the bathroom was missing Shower Gel which was mentioned in the amenities but it was a minor issue. Awesome place for big groups❣️

Nice cottage located right at the lake, with possibility to use paddle-board or little boat. Accommodation is only 2 km from Savitaipale. Jukka is a welcoming and helpful host. Very reccommended
