Log cabin by the lake

An atmospheric log cabin in your own peace. The cottage has no running water or electricity, so you can get a genuine break from everyday life. The cabin is equipped with a gas-powered refrigerator and stove, as well as a generator that makes it easy to get water for the sauna. The cottage is in good condition and there is a recently built shed next to it, with a composting toilet inside. The cottage has excellent opportunities for swimming, sauna, barbecuing, berry picking and mushroom picking. Relax with a larger group at this peaceful place to stay.

Kaislan Tila

Kaislan Tila is located in the countryside, 22km north of Mikkeli. We live in the main building of the farm and there is a 65m2 separate apartment in the yard. The farm has animals and is surrounded by thousands of lakes in Eastern Finland and forest areas rich in natural resources. The nearby lake offers recreational opportunities, fishing, swimming, boating, etc. In the woods, you can ski, pick berries, pick mushrooms and just enjoy the peace and quiet. In winter, you can go snowshoeing, skiing and skating, weather permitting.

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Smoking and pet free area. Children are wellcome.  Warmly wellcome to our guest!

Peace and harmony at Pikkumökki-cottage

Pikkumökki-cottage is a cosy, traditional log cottage with a magnificent view over the lake Saimaa. The cottage has an open common area (livingroom and kitchenette) and a sleeping alcove. Sauna is in the same building with an own entrance. There is no shower, but you wash yourself with a refreshing lakewater. There is no watertoilet, but traditional dry eco toilet in a separate building. A big terrace and a grill for barbeque. There is a small bungalow next to the cottage, with beds for two.

Lähin ruokakauppa vain 5 min ajomatkan päässä Anttolan keskustassa. Jos etsit majoituspaikkaa luonnon rauhasta järven rannalta tai kiinnostuksen kohteitasi ovat retkeily/vaeltaminen suosittelen kodikasta mökkiämme majoittumisellesi. Tänne on hyvä tie perille asti. Cute and small log cottage by lake Saajuu

In this unique and peaceful holiday destination, it is easy to relax in the darkness of autumn! Traditional cottage on the shores of Lake Saajuu. Relaxing in a good sauna, swimming in a clear-water lake, fishing in reeds and backwaters, barbecuing in the autumn twilight, deep dreams listening to the silence in the embrace of log walls. Excursion to the stone church, the center of Sulkava, a tour of three ferries, Vilkaharju nature trails, mushroom picking and exploring the coming winter.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.

This wonderful lakeside log cabin is located 25 km north from Mikkeli. The cabin, finished in 2014, invites you to relax and enjoy the tranquility and beauty of Finnish nature. It's cosy and decorated with high-class natural materials and comfortable furnishings and is fully equipped with a modern, compact open plan kitchen, two bedrooms, each with 160 cm x 200 cm beds, loft room with a king size bed, an inviting living room and dining area, bathroom, sauna, separate toilet and a terrace.

You can enjoy the privacy of the beach house, the sauna steam, where you can admire the views of the lake. The beach is shallow and partly sandy, as well as natural, but you can go directly from the sauna to swim! Cook in a modern kitchen & enjoy the summer of Finland on the terrace of a beach house 💚

Romantic shelter with a great view

A cozy cottage between pines and the lake just in 2 steps from Saimaa. It is quite small inside (30 square meters) with a big open terrace and a green lawn in front of it. There are a Loft bed for 2 people with a view, a small kitchen, fireplace, sauna on woods inside the cabin. It is great to start your day from early swimming and yoga/breakfast at the terrace listening to birds songs and finish your day with a glass of wine taking pictures of a stunning sunset.
