It is possible to park the car for free in the guest parking spaces. The stunning park landscapes invite you to go outdoors and enjoy the surroundings of Lake Saimaa. If you're looking for a little break from the hustle and bustle of the city to the peace of nature, this is just for you. Rent an inexpensive, modest, electrified, basic summer cottage (approx. 65 square meters) from Kangaslampi, Varkaus (the cottage is located on the south shore). Everything in the cottage is not exactly on top and in the best condition, but a basic clean cottage with everything you need. The cottage has a refrigerator, freezer, microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster, stove, gas grill. Basic dishes, television, radio, smoke detectors.

Together 2 x 80 cm beds, and together 120. A high chair, a potty, a travel bed with bedding, and toys and children's books are in the apartment. Parking lot in the yard. Flat with three Bed Rooms for 5 persons in the Center. 6 Min walk to the Market Place and Harbor. 12 Min walk to the Castle Olavinlinna.

Lilla Hammar

A cozy traditionel Finnish log cabin next to a peaceful little lake. The cabin is placed beautiful calming area in the middle of forests. The cottage has sleeping accommodations for four (a sleeping loft and a sofa bed). There is a charming small kitchen, a fireplace inside and campfire place on outside, composting dry toilet and a sauna (no normal bathroom). The hot tube is available with extra charge (50e). Enjoy the cottage atmosphere in a modern apartment building - the lake is so close that the balcony has the sound of waves. This renovated and bright home is located on an island on the shores of the clear-water Lake Saimaa, about 1.2 miles from the town center. It’s easy to get here by car, bus, or on foot – you can also get from the beach to the market in half an hour on a SUP board. The balcony shines in the evening sun, so the temperature in the apartment is pleasant even in the heat.

Between fishes – our house on the lake in Finland

Our piece of land is located on Kaita Järvi– an about 8 km long and a few hundred meter wide lake – it is a small peninsula that looks to the south. That means: sun from morning to evening (if it shines). There right on the shore you find our log cabin, with sauna, bathroom, living room with open kitchen and two small bedrooms. A few meters next to it is a studio like guesthouse, the "Aita". It is also very cosy and comfortable, but provides no own bathroom. Village Savonranta is 5 km away.
