5 minutes' walk from a huge ski area and a bus stop outside for a 5 minute ride to other ski areas. No need for car hire, just walk from the train station. Ski hire/school, restaurants and food shops all within 5 mins. Great views across the mountains. Mountain nature reserve behind the chalet. Most small places for two will be apartments - here you will be in the heart of a unique traditional village on the Lake, but living in your own private chalet with lovely outdoor space and uninterrupted views. The cottage was built 20 years ago, repurposing the original stone from a pre-existing Roman building. It is perfect as a base to explore many other Lake sites, hike, boat, sunbathe, relax, and enjoy local cuisine.

The apartment is near the main road, which runs along the lake, so there may be noise from cars in transit.
