Great house close to Salzburg

Even the welcome by Pauline conveyed a good feeling of being welcome. It was like staying at a friends' place.

We had an unforgettable stay at Hallstatt Lakeview House! The views were absolutely stunning — truly some of the best in the area. The home was clean, cozy, and perfectly located. Our hosts were incredibly attentive and helpful, providing detailed instructions that made finding the house easy. We’re so grateful for the opportunity to stay here and would absolutely return. Highly recommended!

A quiet, peaceful, comfortable cottage near a small farm, the place has a lot of charm and a rustic feel to it. You can see the Austrian alps from the living room window. We felt very safe and secluded here, and there’s ample room for 1-2 cars. Josef and Helga, our hosts, made us feel very welcome right from the start. The village is walkable, and offers a couple of restaurants and a live theatre, and is less than 1/2 hour drive from Salzburg and all that this lovely, historical city has to offer. Whether your interests are hiking, history, museums, castles or even a 500 year old salt mine, this home in Holzhausen is a great place to stay.

My stay with my family of 6 was amazing. It was very spacious. The place was exactly as described. The living room view toogood to be true. The neighbourhood was very pretty. Would really recommend it to a big group.

We had a lovely time staying here and exploring Salzburg! It was really easy to find the place and get inside - Ray's instructions were very clear and helpful! It's really easy to get to the city centre and the central train station which meant exploring the city and it's surroundings was simple! Ray was very communicative and ready to answer any questions we had! Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would happily stay here again next time we visit Salzburg!

If you are looking for peace, quiet, a beautiful view, a beautiful apartment, a feeling of home and the owner of the apartment who answers every question immediately, this is the place. Mimi took care of every detail in her house. We felt like home down to the smallest details in the rooms, bathrooms, kitchen. The apartment is designed for a family with children who need to cook. The kitchen has everything. Good location, close to the lakes and all the attractions related to nature and water recreation. Highly recommend.

wow, what more can you say about this place. it is in the most beautiful location, hidden in the valley with wonderful views either side. Franz and family were lovely and accommodating, really helpful before arrival, and during my stay. I was working remotely for a few days, so did not get to enjoy the local bars and restaurants, but there was a very convenient large supermarket at the bottom of the road. Despite the wet weather, I went on runs and hikes in the area, crossing over the border into Germany, and the surroundings are beautiful. There also appears to be a very reasonable priced swimming pool nearby which i wish i was able to make the most of. Travel on the 180 bus from Salzburg Hbf was also very easy. Being able to enjoy the terrace come rain or sun made the whole stay very peaceful and enjoyable. there is a small kitchen to make some meals, the bedroom and living space is well equipped, and the private bathroom is also very good. Our expectations were met. Small but practically furnished accommodation. Perfect if you're on the road most of the time anyway. The parking right outside the door was perfect. The bathroom is located across the hall, but superbly equipped and clean. The street was a bit noisy with the window open and the apartment was already warm in hot temperatures. But neither was a problem for us. The bus runs right outside the door with connections to Salzburg city center and the Unterbergbahn.

This is a truly stunning location to stay and we have had a wonderful week. The views are spectacular, the apartment is spacious and has everything you need, the pool is great and can be used in all weathers. The play equipment and toys for the kids were a bonus and we didn't even get a chance to use the games room or sauna! We also loved being on a working farm with cows who seem very happy! Rosa and Philipp were wonderful hosts,always responsive if needed but not intrusive. Thank you for a very special holiday.

We had such a lovely stay! Julia’s place is the perfect to base to explore Salzburg and the surrounding Salzkammergut region . The apartment is cosy, well-equipped, very clean, and has an allocated parking spot. Julia was so friendly and helpful throughout our stay - even offering an earlier check in on the day we arrived, which we greatly appreciated. We would definitely recommend.

This Airbnb was wonderful for my friends and I! Very clean, and easy walk to restaurants and bus station. Would definitely stay here again. I also felt very safe here as a female traveler. Holger was very good at communicating and helped us with many things. He was a very attentive host and great at communication. Would definitely book again.

Absolutely the nicest apartment that we’ve been to. Has a really nice view. But the thing is, the apartment has a veranda with a ceiling. We spent a lot of time there, also when it was raining. We ate breakfast there. We could see the view without the interference of a window. It was something. Birgit the host was fluent in English. This is not the case always with an Austrian host. In summary, this apartment was a true find. Could be the best deal in Flachau

This place is a steal! It is near the bus and train station. Finding the place was easy because of the very detailed instructions and pictures sent. The place was spacious and beautiful, with well stocked pantry and toiletries. Will definitely book again when we are in the area.

We felt very comfortable. Bea and Alexander were very open-minded and had great tips for activities, parking, etc. We'll be back.

Great place and amazing view of the Austrian mountains.

Everything was perfect! Even the sofa was very comfortable to sleep on with a good mattress. Kitchen super equipped. The terrace is very cozy. Elisabeth is a very friendly and helpful hostess. We would have liked to have spent more time here.

This apartment was spacious and within 20 minutes walk of historic Salzburg. A bus stop is conveniently located across the street. We appreciated Gregor’s responsiveness to our questions. We had the opportunity to meet his parents and found them to be lovely people. Be sure to bring your own shampoo and coffee. We would stay here again!
