Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Salida

An incredibly hospitable experience. Amanda went above and beyond to accommodate us. She was very responsive, kind, and had a well curated space. We are already talking about coming back to this location again!

This was the perfect little getaway for my wife, our dog and myself. The house was well stocked and on a great little slice of land just outside of Salida. We loved waking up to a little mountain chill, drinking coffee on the porch and making breakfast on their blackstone while overlooking the river. Doug and Stephanie were great hosts and very responsive. We are already planning our next trip back.

Great little place, value was good. Tom sent messages before hand about how to check in, which made it seamless when we showed up.

This home was spectacular! We had a wonderful & comfortable stay. The view of the mountains from the house & hot tub are fabulous! The house was clean, the beds comfortable, and the kitchen fully stocked with appliances! We had such a relaxing time! We even enjoyed the game room and pool table! I highly recommend this home!

The place felt like home with all the amenities needed! Great location with easy walking distance to breweries and restaurants and downtown stores. The backyard was great for our son’s dog - secure and large enough for him to have lots to investigate. Monarch biking and walking trail is within sight of the backyard - so fun to watch bikers and walkers pass by - with no issues about privacy. Comfortable and clean living area and bedrooms. We would love to return and stay at the home!

Our family of four loved staying at the TinShed! Susie and Jason have been so thoughtful in designing this adorable gem. The back patio is great for morning coffee or afternoon happy hour, and it’s fun to open up the garage door to the inside sitting area. Kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. Upstairs tv lounge area is perfect for watching a movie after adventuring all day. Beds were very comfy, everything was super clean, upstairs AC units were great. Location can’t be beat. We will definitely come stay here again!

We really enjoyed our stay. The location is walking distance from everything Salida has to offer. The home is cozy and private. Karen has put nice touches into the artwork and the kitchen is fully stocked. A very pleasant place to spend time in Salida. I’ll come back again.

Kaylee’s place is beautiful and right in the middle of everything Salida offers. Super clean, quiet, huge windows overlooking town and the mountains. Thanks so much for our stay.

It was a wonderful home! We enjoyed the stay alot! It is definitely as described, a cozy rest stop, but not really a place to spend all day.

Perfect place to stay if you’re spending your days exploring the town and want a private place to sleep. Easy access to town, full kitchen and plenty of towels/blankets available. We had perfect weather to sit outside for breakfast and dinner. We hope to book again next year

It's my second time staying here. Wonderful place with great location and a management team of Mishea and Co. that are very responsive, helpful and communicative. Fantastic airbnb I'll always check it out everything I'm in the Arkansas valley.

Very cozy room. I was alone so it was perfect. I think even for 2 people it would be a little tight depending on your preferences. Great place to recharge and freshen up. Very walkable to both South Main and downtown BV. I would recommend this place.

The place was perfect for us. It was conveniently located tight next to where a family member worked at a white water rafting place. Close to a few places to walk to. As well as stunning views from the front yard. We will definitely stay here again.

10/10 for this Airbnb. We had our dog and our 2 year old. We absolutely loved exploring the farm. Proximity to hiking and downtown Salida was unbeatable. Would highly recommend - spend every night sitting outside reading and looking at the starry night.

This was a great stay! Loved that it was walking distance from the wedding venue, restaurants in town, hiking trails, and the disc golf course. The place was peaceful and had a very scenic view. Savannah was a great host and was responsive and helpful, and her local recommendations came in handy. Would stay again

Location is perfect for walking to downtown BV and to the Riverpark. Quiet, clean, and felt very safe. Well appointed kitchen and towels for the Hot Springs!

The condo is very nice and looks like the pictures, it's got modern styling, but it's comfortable. The bed I slept in was very comfortable. The location is so nice for downtown Salida, you could park behind the unit and never have to get in your car again, unfortunately we had a bunch of stuff on the outskirts of town so we ended up driving a lot anyway. Sierra was super friendly, we ran into her at the boathouse and she actually recognized me and she was so friendly. If I had to complain I'd say the stairs from the back parking spot to the bedrooms were more than I expected and I was lugging a baby with me unloading the car, but really not that bad.

The rental was as described, and provided all needed for a short stay, and a great location for easy access to downtown Salida. While the unit is on the top floor of the Moonlight Pizza brewery, it was very quiet and had great view NE to the mountain and downtown. Having Moonlight pizza just down the stairs could be dangerous, we showed restraint and just had dinner and drinks one night, a huge bonus is they are dog friendly. Within a block walk, there are several good coffee shops, Safeway and Natural Grocers. The unit binder is very comprehensive providing great recommendations and things to do if you are new to Salida. The description notes that there are steep stairs to access unit, would emphasize that these are steel stairs with ice traction pattern on them and could be an issue with dogs that have sensitive pads and stair steepness could be a hindrance for older dogs. We would certainly consider rental again for future trip!

Great location!! Very clean! Some slow response time over messaging but technology can sometimes be the problem. Thinner walls between units so some evenings were quite loud.

We had a wonderful stay! The location is perfect, close to everything we needed, yet still quiet and peaceful. The Airbnb was tidy, well-equipped, and thoughtfully decorated, which made us feel right at home. Communication with the host was smooth and helpful throughout. We would absolutely love to stay there again on our next visit!

This was one of the best AirBnB experiences I’ve had in all my years using the service. First, the host responded within 10 minutes to every question. Then she arranged for an early check in if we wanted it. The kitchen is incredibly well stocked. All the pots, pans, baking, knives, and serving tools we needed. But they go above and beyond. They provided quite a variety of cooking spices, cooking oil, salt, pepper, coffee, tea, creamer, sugar and even stevia. They also provide a BBQ grill right out the back door. And they provided an abundance of blankets, pillows. And they provided loads of board games, books, crayons, coloring books. And in the laundry room, they provided detergent and dryer sheets. Amazing location, great host, great experience.
