Artisan Loft in Historic Five Points with Rustic Red Bricks

Explore Denver's art district, then climb the steel stairs to this eclectic loft where vintage charm meets steam-punk fashion. Portuguese-style patterned tiles blend seamlessly with a bottle top coffee table and industrial-chic lighting. This space was a family project (Steve, Lisa and Mick who are brothers and sister) – a carriage house built behind our 1900s house near downtown Denver. The building was designed to mimic older architecture to fit-in with the historic neighborhood. The interior was designed to carry that vintage charm inside with exposed brick and steam-punk fixtures and furniture to blend vintage and industrial design elements. We designed and built the structure including detail such as the black pipe chandelier, steel stair case and funky locker cabinets in the bathroom and bedrooms. Handcrafted items and collections from our family are displayed around the house. The carriage house is exclusively for guests so anything you see is available including food and drink. As much or as little as the guests desire. We will be helpful in answering any questions about the neighborhood and where to eat and drink. Historic Curtis Park is situated between two commercial corridors: Welton and Larimer (RiNo). There are plenty of restaurants, craft breweries, wineries, cideries, and dispensaries nearby. Take the A-Train from DIA to Blake and 38th Station. From there it's a 12-minute walk or a short Uber/Lyft ride. B-Cycle station nearby at 33rd and Araopahoe I'm new at this but my brother Mick hosts the "1880s Carriage House" across the street which is Colorado's Number one airbnb, so I'm getting hosting tips from him.

Our townhouse is located in the Riverfront Park section of Lower Downtown, facing beautiful Cherry Creek and its running and bike paths. It is within walking distance of shops, restaurants, parks, light rail, and major attractions downtown, including the Ball Center, Larimer Square, the Rockies ballpark, Mile High Stadium and Union Station. Stairs are required to access all levels. A maximum of 4 people - our sofa is not designed for sleeping.

Private Entrance Guest Suite with parking

Your space is in the basement of our home with a private keyless entrance and includes a private off street parking spot. Lyft or Uber, are never more than a one or two minute wait. Downtown is within a 20 minute walk. Smoking is allowed outside (420 friendly). Your suite is self contained with everything you need to be comfortable. You will receive your entry code on the day of your arrival after we have your arrival and departure times.
