The Treehouse is an architecturally designed space for 2 with a private covered balcony running down one side with views over stunning gardens & countryside. Originally a famous printmakers studio, it is now a large & comfortably furnished light filled bolthole. There are floor to ceiling windows, (with blinds) a large living area with fully equipped kitchen. Upstairs is a romantic ensuite bedroom. The Treehouse is ideal for a relaxing break in a secluded location, 10 mins walk to Penzance.
Orchard Flower Farm is nestled within a beautiful valley just a few minutes drive from Penzance. The building is converted from an artist’s studio where the late Master printer, Hugh Stoneman produced work with highly acclaimed artists such as Sir Terry Frost, Patrick Heron, Sandra Blow and many others. The property itself is finished to a very high standard, including art work from the artists that originally worked in the space. With an open plan lay out, the Studio is light and airy, and with one wall comprising of floor to ceiling windows it allows uninterrupted views of the valley. With only the sounds of birdsong and water running in the stream, it is a perfect place to find peace and quiet. Guests also have full access to the 6 acres of land joined to the property and a wide range of walks in the surrounding area.
The studio is in a truly secluded position surrounded by 4 acres of wonderful Cornish gardens is located close to Penzance, the historic maritime port of Penzance, just 2 miles inland from the Cornish Coastline. St Ives, Lands End, Marazion, St Michaels Mount, Minack Theatre, Porthcurno Beach and the surfing beach of Sennen are all less than 10 mins drive away so there is plenty to see and do. West Penwith, the area of West Cornwall close to Penzance has lots of thriving and recommended, restaurants, bars and galleries to visit. Thi part of the world is well known for its stunning coastlines which are all accessible from the South West Coast Path. We also have some amazing tropical gardens. There's plenty to see and do - alternatively you can just chill with some magnificent views.
  • It was our second time in Cornwall, and after a stay in a pretty basic flat in Penzance last time we decided we wanted something a bit out of town and in nature. This place fits the bill perfectly! Easy to get to, close to everything, but hidden away down a small lane to give you a very private and very beautiful space. You wake up in the morning overlooking the trees and fields with nothing around you but nature, it's a good way to wake up! The place is very clean and has all the amenities you need for a short or a long stay. A big kitchen is available so it really feels like a home away from home. Beds are comfortable, and you can watch the stars from the bed or the bathtub through the skylights. We had a stubborn little cat visiting a few teams who was just the sweetest. If you don't like cats he's very easy to shoo away and won't come back.. but we couldn't resist its fluffy cheeks so gave him lots of cuddles. The host provides a plethora of tips and suggestions for things to do nearby so you're never short on ideas. Highly recommended, would visit again, 10/10

  • Great place for a quiet weekend get away. Very peaceful with the river running below and the sound of birds in the trees. Close proximity to St Ives and not far into Penzance. Great communication and information before our arrival which made the whole trip hassle free.

Set in the heart of Mousehole, The Lookout is a cosy space that offers everything you need for a short stay. The decor is modern and airy. The bed is raised and accessed by steps to give guests a sea view. There are lots of cushions so it can also be used as a sofa. The suite includes: Smart TV; DAB radio; wardrobe and storage; bar stools; mini fridge; toaster; crockery; kettle with tea/coffee (but no cooking facilities); large freestanding bath; separate shower; private entrance and courtyard.
This is an idyllic and peaceful retreat for two. We’ve been told by our guests that it’s a ‘real gem’, ‘perfect bolthole’ and ‘made them feel like a local’ ‘in a home from home.’ The accommodation is private and central. Please note there are no cooking facilities other than a toaster and kettle as it doesn’t have a kitchen area. The Lookout is attached to a family home in the heart of a bustling Cornish village with a beautiful harbour and beach. Its location is ideal to get to everything Mousehole has to offer including fabulous restaurants, deli, cafes and galleries.
Mousehole is a beautiful Cornish village packed full of charm. The small beach is often far warmer than the forecast as it's protected by the harbour walls. It has a wide range of high quality restaurants and cafes. As it is part of the South West Coast Path, it also makes an ideal stopping place for walkers. The village is only a short car journey from St Michael's Mount, the Minack Theatre, Land's End and lots of beautiful beaches. We also benefit from a fantastic bus service that runs every 30 minutes. During the winter season, the village comes to life with its fabulous Christmas lights and the procession for Tom Bowcock's Eve.
  • Managed to park on coastal road so was free, two min walk to property. Had amazing nights sleep, lovely walk round the area and the best bath we've ever had. Such a gorgeous space, thanks for hosting us!

Beautiful Mousehole apartment with panoramic sea views, private parking and a large garden. Large master bedroom, fully equipped kitchen and a living/dining room with sofa bed. Sun trapped balcony overlooking the village.
Mousehole Village was described by Dylan Thomas as 'the most beautiful village in England. ' Its fisherman's cottages cluster around the safe harbour, where you can swim among the boats, or sunbathe on the sheltered sandy beach. There are excellent restaurants, a lovely old pub, a village shop and Post Office, and lots of arty shops selling local crafts and other interesting and beautiful things. Nearby there are wonderful beaches, tiny coves and the South West Coastpath goes right through the village.
  • Lis is a fantastic host I highly recommend staying at her apartment, with parking right outside, it felt very homely with the open fire and also sea views are amazing. We shall be returning again in the future. Brilliant to say the least.

    Tim2020-03-15T00:00:00Z
  • This place is a real gem perched up high in a beautiful part of Cornwall. The views are breathtaking! We really enjoyed our stay to celebrate my husband’s birthday! The apartment is spacious and very comfortable. There is everything you need for a relaxing break. We especially enjoyed the open fire which we lit in the evening. We hope to return again in the future. Julian & Christina

  • Great apartment, spacious and light with fab views! Lis was a great host, by just leaving us to enjoy our stay but we knew if we needed anything she’d be on hand! Would recommend! Thanks Lis 😃

  • This accommodation is ok Nothing special, just a top floor of a bungalow that had several doors marked with “no entry” signs into the adjoining flat

  • Honestly such a lovely apartment. Couldn’t fault it at all. Lovely lovely view and such a great area. Close to Penzance too. Will definitely be coming back

  • Stunning views, clean space, attentive host, cosy home.

    Dion2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • A cozy flat with great views of the sea. We experienced typically inclement weather in January but loved just hunkering down in front of the fireplace. Great maps ! Nicely equipped kitchen. Lis is a friendly and responsive host.

    Alice2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lis' place was perfect, great views, but also a nice welcome. Lis came to check that everything was fine, without feeling invasive. She shared some good tips about the area, which is really beautiful, even in the middle of winter :)

  • Celia’s place is truly amazing and the location is great. 10 min walk to the harbour, even if it seems longer. We would definitely choose her place again to visit this part of Cornwall.

    Chloé2020-03-04T00:00:00Z
  • What a place. Beautifully designed with gorgeous little touches we felt really at home at Celias place. Everything was really well thought out and we loved the space and apartment. The views from the balcony are literally staggering. One of the best places we have ever stayed. Thank you Celia for making us so welcome.

    Nicola2020-02-29T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely, big, bright apartment with everything we needed for our stay! Very comfortable bed and great shower.

    Ceana2020-02-23T00:00:00Z
  • Stayed at Celia's place for a short holiday to explore the west of Cornwall. It was perfect! Quirky and comfortable, and an amazing view from the balcony. Easy access to the coastline for walking.

    Felicity-Jayne2020-02-06T00:00:00Z
  • What a wonderful apartment. The space is a little quirky, with its round bathroom, but this makes the apartment all the more special. A real home from home, especially with the wood burner. Wonderful views of the harbour and beyond too.

    Zoë2020-01-27T00:00:00Z
  • This place is incredible. It’s spotlessly clean, extremely comfortable, and has everything you could need. We felt absolutely at home. The view is so breathtaking, we didn’t want to leave the apartment and spend a lot of time looking out and taking loads of pictures. When we did leave, everything was just a short walk down the hill. A lovely coffee shop called Lovetts, a wonderful Newly Film House, a Co-op is just around the corner. Food highlights: treat yourself and go to the Tolcarne Inn, or grab some fish and chips at Lewis’s (best we’ve had so far). There’s bus stops close by as well. Overall we had a fantastic time in Newly, plenty of time to relax and clear your mind in the apartment, and having peaceful walks down by the water. Can’t recommend this place enough. I really hope I can come back here and explore more of Cornwall.

    Andrija2020-01-08T00:00:00Z
  • Loved this special place so much I cried when we left. Beautiful views from the main bedroom and lounge! Great area if you want to explore. Celia was very welcoming and we were treated to mince pies and Christmas cake, which I would guess were homemade! Thank you again

***Currently we are not accepting any booking from those intending to travel down here on holiday. If you work in front line services and have found yourself homeless, please do enquire.*** Tucked up behind our brook is a heated garden cabin which is a haven of peace set to the backdrop of the babbling brook. This is an en-suite room set in the grounds of a 19th century Cornish Cottage, in an AONB area. There is a kettle and small fridge.
Covid-19: ***Currently we are not accepting any booking from those intending to travel down here on holiday. If you work in front line services and have found yourself homeless, please do enquire.*** Purpose built compact log cabin with pocket sprung double bed. Ideal for upto two, but can actually fit 4 by utilising the sofa bed, although you will lose the floor space then. The space is en suite with a toilet and wash basin and also has a clean and spacious walk in shower - little details that make a big difference. Your hosts are on hand just the same as if you were staying in a room in our cottage but you have the added privacy of being in the garden, and your own bathroom. The cabin doors open out onto a veranda, then down the steps you come to a grassed area, and access to our garden where you can enjoy a cup of tea by the brook, you can turn right and head up the main garden. Somewhere around is a very friendly little cat... If you are allergic to cats please message before booking to establish if this might be a potential problem for you. Generally the cat is not allowed in the cabin but may on occasions have visited guests in there. Please read our reviews to see what others have thought of the cabin, and the hosts
We are located in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, and are surrounded by public footpaths enabling you to explore the countryside and access some very old stones, wells etc. We are happy to discuss your itinery with you and make suggestions if you don't have one!

Truly unique cottage in a remote paradise. This is idyllic little cottage is ideal for couples who want to get away to enjoy the sun, sea, rambling walks and each other's company. It is a picturesque 15 minute walk to the golden beach of Sennen Cove.
The Cottage is a restyled rustic and luxurious retreat. There is a fully fitted kitchen with all the essentials, including a Nespresso Machine, lovely bathroom and the 'pièce de résistance' is the charming mezzanine bed above the living room. At a push you can sleep a child downstairs in a pull out bed but we would rather not contemplate this.
It is a truly magical part of the world that has untold number of treasures to be discovered. This is a unique part of the UK that is very removed from the rest. The area is filled with beautiful walks & scenery in Poldark country, quaint pubs & restaurants, and the cheerful Cornish people. It is a 10-15 minute walk down the cliffs to Sennen or Gwenver beach, which are great for surf or sun bathing. There are Surf Schools down in Sennen Cove which do lessons or just rentals. There is also the Beach Cafe (closed in Jan) for a nice hot chocolate overlooking the golden mile of beach for that post beach cool off. Lands End is a lovely two and a bit mile walk along the cost, along which you can go either direction and find all sorts of treasures. St Ives is a little drive away, which is great for a coffee overlooking the bay with all the fishing boats, or to visit the Tate St Ives. You can also explore the some of the great fish markets near by in areas like Mousehole and Newland - without a doubt the best crab and lobster you've ever had. The beaches are a 10 minute walk away. The surfing is fantastic. There are numerous really fantastic restaurants which include, The Beach cafe on Sennen Beach, The Gurnard's Head, The Coastguard and many others. The beauty of the property is that you are completely independent secluded. It is a most romantic setting and you can just chill, chill, chill. For those who'd like to go further, there are day trips to the Scilly Isles that are accessible by short flight from Lands End Airport.
  • This property is perfect, cozy, clean, all amenities you need, warm, stylish, and great location. We have stayed 3 times it is so great and no doubt will be back.

    Katie2020-03-08T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely place. I’ll be coming again. We live in Cornwall.

    Dylan2020-02-21T00:00:00Z
  • We’ve stayed in some cracking Airbnb’s in the UK and abroad but would say that Little Rocks is the best yet. It would be difficult to beat the combination of location, comfort and design that the cabin offers. We stayed early Feb with lots of places still shut but that didn’t detract at all - there are enough that remain open all year to eat out if you want. Lands End (obviously) being one of those - the quality and choice of food was impressive and you can take dogs in the cafe which was a massive relief having parked at Porthgwarra and walked there and back, seal spotting en route. Highly recommend the area and Little Rocks!! Thank you Catherine and Mary

    Janet2020-02-07T00:00:00Z
  • Fabulous place to stay, everything you need, wonderfully cosy and the surrounding coastline is stunning- definitely recommend a stay here!

    Kitty2020-01-31T00:00:00Z
  • We had a wonderful time at Catherine’s place. The cottage is exactly as depicted in the pictures, but even cosier. It’s in a great location right by the sea and close to town. The kitchen is well equipped, and the living room and bathroom clean and spacious. The bed is big, warm and comfortable, perfect for two. Personal, thoughtful touches like two warm indoor gowns and slippers, a sweet Christmas card and a welcoming pack of delicious chocolate, were icing on the already rich cake. I would stay here again and highly recommend it.

    Stella2020-01-03T00:00:00Z
  • Simply perfect! We fell in love with this cottage. Wild winds, cosy cottage, roaring fire and Christmas movies, couldn't have asked for more. The Christmas decorations around the cottage were thoughtful and showed how much the owners care about their cottage and guests experiences, even leaving us a present under the tree! For a small cottage the kitchen is surprisingly adept and stocked, we cooked a full Christmas meal with absolutely no problems. Honestly I cant rave about this enough, the cottage itself, the location, Sennen cove and of course Christine and Mary who were always a quick message away when we had questions. Looking forward to our next stay very soon!

    Lia2019-12-31T00:00:00Z
  • If you see this property available don't hesitate to book it if you are looking for something different. It's in a fabulous location above Sennen Cove and in a very quiet location - the only traffic passing turned out to be one tractor carrying milk churns and a horse rider. The property is well appointed and makes excellent use of the available living space with the sleeping platform an unusual feature. We loved it and would like to go back again.

The Old Steam House (originally built to house a vintage steam-powered car) has been newly converted into a gorgeous, detached, architect designed 1 bedroom property, set in the mature garden of a large Victorian house. The granite building is light and airy with large south-facing windows, high ceilings, wood burner, kingsize bed, excellent shower and underfloor heating throughout. We are 10 minutes from Sennen Cove, Porthcurno, the Minack Theatre , and walking distance to shops and pub.
The Old Steam House comprises a large, open plan living/dining room with south-facing French doors, a wood burner, TV and a fully equipped kitchen with dishwasher. We provide teabags, ground coffee, sugar, tea towels, washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets etc. The bedroom has a kingsize bed with a top quality mattress, an all goose down duvet and freshly ironed bed linen. The en suite shower room has a huge walk-in power shower. Towels, soap, shampoo & conditioner are provided. There is underfloor heating throughout, with a thermostat in each room. The cottage has its own garden area with outdoor seating and BBQ. There is also a dedicated parking space, and extra space if required.
We are 3 minutes walk from the centre of St. Buryan with its well stocked shop, pub and garage. 3 minutes drive brings you to a great farm shop. Amazing fish and seafood can be purchased in Newlyn (15 minutes drive). There is also a vending machine dispensing Cornish whole milk (open 24/7) only a minute's walk away. We are surrounded by stunning beaches, coastal walks and stone circles.
  • Fabulous conversion, very stylish, fab wood burner and bathroom was way beyond my expectations, great location, lovely personal touches and although you are in the garden of the house was very private and secluded, thanks I will definitely be back !

  • John's cottage is finished to a very high standard and is located in an unspoilt part of Cornwall which was great for exploring, walking and relaxing. It was welcoming to come home to the woodburner after cold and windy walks on the cliffs. The cottage is very well equipped with an excellent shower and an extremely comfortable bed. Communication with John was prompt and helpful at all times.

  • We enjoyed John’s place a lot. It’s sparking clean, equipped with very modern facilities, easy to check-in, and good location if you have a car. I definitely recommend this place.

  • could not ask for a better location to stay for a weekend break away with my partner. The property was very easy to find and when we arrived, we were very impressed with the high quality and outstanding qualities of the outside and inside of the building and a lovely warm greeting from the owner, himself. We are both very happy to say we will be going back in January for a longer stay. So thank you, very much & we will see you soon. Thanks, Kymberley. X

  • What a wonderful little jem. My wife, 2 spaniels and I stayed for three days and couldn’t have asked for more from an exceptional host. We can only recommend this excellent property.

  • John‘s Steam House is absolutely amazing. Super cozy, lovely interior design with nice details and exceptionally well equipped kitchen, comfortable and large bed. Everything was very clean, the fireplace was already filled with wood so we could use it easily. John provided coffee & organic milk. The place is based in an outstanding landscape, you can park on the property which is also great. The check-in was easy, we met John personally who was very kind and showed us around. Check-out was also very smooth as John told us we could just leave the keys at the apartment. We enjoyed a lovely weekend in beautiful Cornwall and can highly recommend John‘s place which is based perfectly central to visit all Cornish must sees. Thanks John for being such a great host.

IDEAL FOR HOLIDAY + BUSINESS. Up to 40% DISCOUNT for weekly/monthly long stay now available. Belgravia Loft is just a 15 min walk from the train/bus station, the Isles of Scilly Ferry Terminal & just around the corner from the cinema, theatre, shops, restaurants and galleries. We are also a gentle 15 min stroll from Jubilee outdoor pool, the harbour, two parks & the promenade. Stunning view of Mounts Bay, St Michaels Mount and Penzance harbour. We welcome singles, couples and business travellers
Your room is on the 2nd floor of this 19th century town house and is accessible through a trap door. As you enter the room you are first greeted by a stunning 180 degree view of the bay through a 3-sided box window. The size of the room is very comfortable: Floor area: 4 x 5 meters (approx) Roof height: 2.2 meters at highest point of pitched roof. Toilet and washing facilities: You have your own en-suite toilet and butler sink which are located within glass block partition walls and are accessible via cafe style swing doors. Kitchen: You also have your own kitchen area where you can prepare breakfast and packed lunches. This consists of a wooden work top, crockery/cutlery for 2 people, mini fridge, kettle, toaster and microwave. Breakfast: Sadly a cooked breakfast is not available but cereal, milk, tea, coffee will be waiting for you when you arrive. Food supplies are easily accessible with a Tesco local, 2 Co-ops, a vegetable shop and an Archie Browns within a 5 minute walk of the house. Shared bathroom: Directly opposite the bottom of the stairs to your room is a spacious toilet and shower room which you are welcome to use. Fire information: We have taken the following the steps to ensure that in the unlikely event of a fire you will be as safe as possible: - Fire buckets and fire extinguishers have been installed on the first floor and in your room. - Smoke alarms have been installed on the ground floor, first floor and in your room. - The hatch door to your room has been made out of fire retardant 18mm plywood - A fire escape rope ladder has been installed in your room. Electricity: There is a £1 coin meter which supplies all the sockets in the room. This will be topped up with £5 which should be enough for your stay. However if you run out simply insert more coins and continue to enjoy your room.
Belgravia Street is a quiet, residential street even though we are very close to the centre of the town. However I feel I should point out that there is a social club further along the street opposite which stages evening events, mainly at the weekends. This means that occasionally there may be a few customers standing outside the club in the evening chatting until 10 or 11pm. The noise is minimal and can be reduced substantially by keeping the front window of your room shut.
  • Andrew and Winnies place was lovely. It is a bright loft conversion and with private kitchen and toilet. There are many nice touches like some cereal and milk and lots of leaflets about the area. It is nice and warm with an electric blanket too. Thanks for a brilliant and relaxing stay!

Hello and a warm welcome.. Looking for a unique, rustic, quirky, tranquil and cosy getaway.. ?
Merrifield Lodge came into existence 25 years ago. Our unique family built cabin started off as a simple garden shed with the aim to use as an art studio for myself to paint in. Over the years various family members have stayed here and being part of a large family, the 'shed' gradually extended in an unusual and organic manner whereby reclaimed materials (mainly wood) were used to attach rooms to accommodate an ever growing family. Now all the family members have moved on and found a foot in the world we’ve decided to share our beloved cabin with you. Merrifield Lodge is a quirky wooden cabin with a warm, cosy and welcoming feeling, full of charm and tons of character.
The kings arms pub in the village just a short walk away that serves homemade meals throughout the day. No need to get in a car for those who enjoy walking, the location is surrounded by open fields, there are many fantastic walks in all directions.. great for Dogs! Those who are interested in historic sites the Merry Maidens stone circle is a lovely 45 minute walk across the fields too.
  • A gorgeous hideaway - perfect for a two night break away! Loved this place!!

  • What a lovely place, quite quirky. Loved Claire's artwork. Nice, clean and well equipped. Was quite cold when we returned (we didn't want to waste electric leaving heaters on whilst we were out for the day) and took a little while to warm up, but was nice and cosy with all the heaters on! Never met Claire, but communication prior to departure was good.

  • I was extremely comfortable at Michels lovingly done up house. The room was very clean and cosy, with a selection of books, a TV and kettlE w tea and coffee. The noise from the street in the description was barely noticeable, especially when I closed the window. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The full english breakfast (veggie sausage option!) was delicious and since its served in a sort of attached winter garten I could hear and watch the birds outside. The cute little Apple Tree Cafe just a few walking minutes from the house and serves delicious cream tea. I highly recommend Micheles place!

Budget studio room with basic kitchen facilities. Adjacent shower room/toilet. Perfect for the economic traveler. The basement is part of an old Georgian townhouse situated in the heart of Penzance. Double bed and a comfortable sofa bed. Writing desk. TV. There's also a small contained kitchen area with fridge/freezer, cooker, toaster, kettle and microwave. 10 minutes from the train station or beaches and the town's famous promenade. This is a marvellously equipped room for budget travellers.
It's an old Georgian townhouse with wisteria climbing it's walls. Down some old granite steps is the studio. It's a large room but cosy and offers good privacy and of course it's very well equipped with a basic kitchen included so you don't have to eat out every night. The house itself is charming and very homely. There is a shower room and toilet at the entrance to the studio but there is also a larger family bathroom upstairs if that is busy.

  • We had a great 2-week stay at Martin and Jan’s place. They were very kind and welcoming, and gave us fresh eggs, milk and biscuits and let us pick tomatoes and grapes from their greenhouse. The location was ideal for exploring Cornwall. It’s a good size for 1 or 2 people and the kitchen works well for cooking. Definitely recommend!

  • A beautifully decorated & equipped cottage. Martin made us very welcome. We used the BBQ & made friends with the chickens and alpacas. A perfect spot from which to explore the tip of Cornwall.

  • A clean, cosy, peaceful stay in a excellent location with great facilities and hosts. The studio is in a beautiful garden which we were grateful to have full access to and enjoyed spending evenings in it. The studio had all the items we needed for our stay and was perfect for a couple who wanted a relaxing break.

  • We enjoyed our stay in St. Buryan in the cottage of Jan and Martin very much. The cottage is lovingly furnished and you have everything you need. Also in the kitchenette everything is available including a good stove with oven. Jan and Martin werde very freindly and helpful hosts, always available for any questions or whishes. They provided us with fresh eggs from their own chicken and we were allowed to use their buityful garden too, where we could sit and have a glass of wine watching the sunset. We thank them very much for their hospitality and would be happy to come back again.

  • Gwestva Holiday Accommodation is such a gem in the country. It is a place where you can completely relax yourselves; meanwhile, you can also buy all the groceries you need by driving to Penzance within 20 minutes. Jan and Martin’s hospitality is awesome! They have been very kind and helpful to us. They provided everything we asked them for — iron and doing washing. We were doing an engagement photo shoot in the area and we would like to have some shots with their alpacas. They were absolutely fine with it. In the accommodation, we had coffee, tea, eggs, milk and some oil, salt and pepper for cooking. What more can you ask for?

    Grace2019-07-25T00:00:00Z
  • This is a true gem right in the heart of the region. The accommodation is decorated so nicely and the setting is idyllic. The place was immaculate and fresh even in the full brunt of the sunshine. The adjacent field offers the opportunity to walk about and some stunning views. Martin and Jan were the perfect hosts and made us feel at home.

    Natasha2019-07-10T00:00:00Z

  • Well located property in a pretty village, great for exploring Southwest Cornwall. The adjacent pub is a bonus too!

    Tom2019-08-28T00:00:00Z
  • Very welcoming and chatty hosts. Lovely little ‘cottage’/annex next to the St Buryan Inn. I was a bit dubious about staying so close to a pub, but it wasn’t an issue at all. Was so peaceful and quiet at night. Bed was soooo comfy - was worried it would be too soft for my dodgy back but the 10 hours of solid sleep I got proved me wrong! Nice hot powerful shower, and kitchen had everything you needed to cook for yourself (no freezer - but wasn’t an issue for us). Had an evening meal at the Inn next door - brilliant pub food! Perfect location for visiting the coast, as well as the rest of bottom of Cornwall.

    Victoria2019-08-19T00:00:00Z
  • This little cottage surprised me. It’s a lot more spacious for 2 people than I expected. Loved the decent size of kitchen, bathroom and the mezzanine bedroom. The bed is sooo comfy. The location is great, right in the village with a shop across the road and Sarah’s pub next door. Great location as a base if you want to explore as it’s not far from St. Ives, Porthcurno beach, Land’s End, Treen, Sennen beach/cove, Pedn Vounder beach, Mousehole, and a lot more. I can highly recommend this little cottage.

Wonderful hosts which made us feel very at home. Having the pub is an extra bonus and a very warm and welcoming environment. St Buryan is a fabulous place to visit in South west Cornwall. The most amazing fish and chips!

We would highly recommend this accommodation.

There is All you need to cook and use the outside BBQ or you can take a short walk to the pub. Colin, Yvonne and the animals are very friendly but not intrusive . • Great hosts, great cottage and fantastic location. Ideally placed between Sennen, Porthcurno, Penzance, St Ives and other local beaches/attractions. Allows you to decide on the days activity based on weather and wind direction! Yvonne and Colin were great hosts, made us feel very welcome. The jam, marmalades, eggs and fresh veg almost make the stay worthwhile on their own! Our kids really loved the animals, and Alfie is the nicest of dogs. The cottage is has been very nicely done and was very clean. The outside space, with the decking area, is very open and great in the sun. It is a shared space, and for some this is a great way to interact with the hosts and animals. Thanks Yvonne and Colin for a great stay!

The Rook's Nest shepherd's hut offers up a unique holiday experience. In a beautiful setting it is a delightful cosy but bright small space. An ideal base for exploring the west of Cornwall. Provided within this compact space is a comfy double bed with proper mattress, seating area, oven and hob, fridge, hot and cold water, bluetooth stereo, TV and woodburner with logs provided.
Snugly placed in a beautiful setting in the grounds of West Cornwall's oldest thatched farmhouse built in 1245. Set above a babbling brook next to St Loy woods it is a great retreat where you can feel close to nature. Often you will hear the hoot of an owl or the chatter of rooks. With a delightful ten minute walk through the St Loy woods, famous for the bluebells in spring, you can enjoy one of West Penwith's most stunning sections of coast. Placed between the historic harbours of Lamorna and Penberth it is in a great location for hiking the coast path. It is only ten minutes by car to Porthcurno where you can enjoy an evening's performance at the Minack theatre with the frequent sight of the local resident pod of bottlenose dolphins swimming across the beautiful Pedn Vounder beach. It is within twenty minutes of Sennen cove, Land's End and the historic tin mining town of St Just. It is also only a stone's throw away from many ancient sites including the Merry Maidens stone circle, Carn Euny and Chysauster. It would ideally suit any outdoor adventurers trekking the coast path, surfers checking out the quieter breaks or cyclists touring the wild and rugged west. With a bbq and picnic bench provided you can make the most of the summer evenings in this beautiful spot. In the winter you can cosy up in front of the wood burner after a wild day on the coast or moors. I mustn't forget to mention the unique turf roofed rustic hobbit hut toilet providing a hot shower too.
A very quiet and rural setting in a the tranquil wooded St Loy valley only a mile from the nearest pub and shop in St Buryan. It is a 15 minute drive to Penzance for supermarkets etc.

Woodley, is a cosy bungalow, just on the edge of St.Buryan, it's right next to a Gulf garage and premier shop, so life is good for amenities, we also have a back garden and parking, (fabulous)! About four hundred yards down the road, is the local pub and the Londis/post office shop. We are about ten minutes from the famous outdoor theatre ( The Minack) and the Telephone museum but most of all, is our fabulous coastal walks and golden sandy beaches and if you are lucky a little bit of Poldark!!
We do a breakfast pack on arrival.
Our church, is our landmark, we have the second tallest church tower in Cornwall, but we also have a village pub. Very central with stunning cliff walks on North and South coast.
  • Excellent place! Will return to this place if heading to Cornwall in the future!

Piggywidden 2 nestles in the beautiful Lamorna valley. Just a mile from the sea and under three miles from the picturesque fishing village of Mousehole. This peaceful, relaxing Cornish idyll is the perfect base from which to explore the dozens of wonderful beaches, restaurants, cliff walks, cafes, gardens, pubs & sites of interest - all within a ten mile radius. The cottage is a beautifully converted former pig sty. Ideal for surfers, twitchers, walkers, artists & those just looking to relax.
Piggywidden Two has been converted to incorporate all modern facilities whilst retaining the building's original charm. The cottage is semi-detached, being joined on an L-shape with the larger Piggywidden One cottage. The cottages are surrounded by two granite walls which originally created the fold yard, but now form an attractive, enclosed sunny garden. A beautiful single storey granite building, Piggywidden Two comprises of one bedroom. There is a double bed, wardrobe and chest of drawers. The bedroom leads into a small hallway off which is a recently updated bathroom with bath / shower (over bath), a lit mirrored cabinet above the basin, heated towel rail and a lavatory. The hallway leads into a spacious open-plan kitchen / dining / sitting room, with high ceiling and Velux windows. The fully equipped kitchen area includes an electric cooker, fridge, kettle, washing machine and microwave. The sitting area has a double seater sofa, a small electric faux wood burner and a flatscreen television. Heating is provided by electric night storage heaters which run on a £1 coin meter. The Trewoofe cottages share a large, well-maintained picnic area which leads onto two contiguous meadows and overlooks the valley. It is a great place for children and adults alike to run free, explore the woodlands safely and relax. The three cottages together make an ideal booking for larger groups / families.
The three Trewoofe cottages (Piggywidden 1 & 2 and Trewoofe Barn) are situated together at the head of the wonderfully tranquil Lamorna Valley. Built in 1730, the cottages are set in idyllic, peaceful countryside and woodland and yet within easy reach of breath-taking coastal / country walks, picturesque coves and beaches and award-winning restaurants and cafes. Nearest amenities / shops are: St Buryan - 2.6 miles Newlyn - 3.2 miles Penzance - 4.4 miles (Top tip is to order a Sainsbury's or Tesco delivery to arrive shortly after you do!) Local attractions: Lamorna Cove (1 mile) - gentle stroll through the glorious wooded valley with the trees almost stretching down to the sea. Luckily, you can quench your thirst half way to the sea at the local pub - the Lamorna Wink. This dramatically beautiful cove is well worth a visit, with fantastic coastal cliff walks on both sides and a small sandy beach at low tide. Porthcurno (5.8 miles) - stunning white sand beach below the infamous Minack Theatre and flanked by a host of gorgeous beaches including Pedn Vounder, Porthgwarra, Porth Chapel and Penberth Cove. Sennen Cove (6.5 miles) - white sand beach with arguably the best sunsets in Cornwall. Mousehole (2.7 miles) - postcard-picturesque fishing village Land's End (7.5 miles) - you have to tick that box! St. Ives (13 miles) - the infamous harbour town of St. Ives, home to the Tate Gallery (and many more), stunning walks and many renowned restaurants (including my favourite the Porthminster Beach Cafe). St. Michael's Mount (9.3 miles) - historic tidal island and well worth a visit.

Abi was great with communication and helped us plan our weekend with some great suggestions for walks and places to eat. The cottage is very well equipped with cooking and washing facilities. I would highly recommend the coastal walk from Lamorna Cove to Mousehole. Its about an hour and a half but worth the trek, its stunning!

A large and comfortable room in a beautiful spot, next to Cape Cornwall Golf Club's restaurant and swimming pool. Three windows- very light with amazing view of the only Cape in England. This cosy cottage is open plan but also has space. Tea/coffee in room. Wifi, DVD/TV,selection of DVDs but no TV channels. Please note that the large bathroom is downstairs with good shower/bath. We have two friendly Labradors who love guests! Log fire every night in the winter. Friendly hosts!
Your room overlooks the only Cape in England! One mile from St Just, which is a very small town with pubs, cafes and eateries and many unique craft shops. Although Cape Cornwall Club (golf and leisure) is next door, it is very quiet here.
Not many people live on the Cape. It is a very small and peaceful community. The cottage was the first dwelling on the Cape. The cottage was formerly the farm cottage of Nanpean Farm, until the golf club was built in 1991. The club house of the farm was created from the farm stables.
  • A lovely home in a great location. I was a first timer to Air B&B Jo & Chris (and their beautiful dogs) were so welcoming and provided exceptional advice for places to visit locally, I had a great stay and would highly recommend 😊

  • The cottage is very close to the coast footpath, really good location for both outdoors adventures and trips to nearby towns. Very friendly and helpful hosts providing easy going atmosphere and tips to make the most of the time in the area. Great place to stay!

  • Ah we here go! If the Airbnb website worked as well as the hosts to make your booking and stay an enjoyable experience! I almost gave up trying to book but I'm glad I didn't. Lovely hosts with 2 friendly dogs and a lovely spacious room overlooking Cape Cornwall. I managed to tick the all the boxes with body boarding, walks and bird-watching. Cape Cornwall is home to the Chough - symbol of Cornwall. Ticked all the boxes with the local cuisine too fish & chips, pasty and cream tea with homemade jam and Rodda clotted cream. Trips to some of the smaller towns and attractions were interesting and Penzance high street is still vibrant despite the 3 out of town supermarkets. Tea, coffee and 2 towels provided plus extra blanket for the bed. Nice big bathroom downstairs. Would highly recommend, Dave

  • Jo and Chris were truly wonderful hosts. They made me feel incredibly welcome and at home, and I was able to completely relax which was lovely. The location of the cottage is perfect. You have the coastal paths on your doorstep as well as a wonderful view of the cape. St Just is only a 5 minute drive away (or a 25 min walk if you’re feeling energetic!), and the golf club next door has an indoor pool and gym if the weather is ropey. The cottage was extremely clean and the room is spacious and comfortable. The dogs are also incredibly sweet and friendly. Breakfast was delicious and the coffee machine was an added bonus! I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it!

    Alicia2019-09-28T00:00:00Z
  • Chris and Jo are fabulous hosts. The old school Airbnb experience. Sharing space, but also life stories, and local tips. There's great hiking in the vicinity, but also further out.

  • This is one of the best airbnb we stayed in! Big space, clean, everything you need + privacy, and thoughtful touches. Location is perfect too as close to the seaside - and a nice pub 2min walk away. We loved it and would recommend the place ++++!

  • Beautiful sparkling clean with treats left on the door step couldn’t of felt more welcome amazing 5* all round and can’t wait to return

    John2020-02-09T00:00:00Z
  • I never leave reviews but me and my girlfriend absolutely loved this accommodation. Friendly hosts, clean accommodation and there was no need to grab food on the way in as what we grabbed was already in the fridge and cupboards when we arrived! This was 10 x more than we expected on arrival and small touches like candles lit outside the front door of an evening really made a huge impact. Easy to find, close to a really nice pub, incredible views. A real breathe of fresh air and exactly what’s needed after a drive to and walking around Cornwall. I would highly recommend Angela and her accommodation! Neil was lovely to, thank you both for a wonderful stay! - and for being so helpful even after our visit!

    Danial2020-02-03T00:00:00Z
  • One of the most cleanest places we have ever stayed at perfect welcoming and lovely gifts I would highly recommend and we will 100% be returning.

  • Angela was a great host who gave us a lovely warm welcome. Penver Studio had everything we needed for a comfortable stay and ideally placed for great coastal walks and a 2 minute stroll to the Logan Rock Inn. Would definitely recommend.

  • A really comfortable, well-appointed studio flat. Great location, very hospitable hosts, peace and quiet.

    Nick2019-11-29T00:00:00Z
  • Angela's place is a home away from home. My wife and I chose to spend our holidays in Cornwall and Penver studio's location seemed like a perfect spot for an idyllic holiday. A bit detailed review is below. About the host. Angela is a friendly and kind host. No wonder her impressive hospitality has earned her the tag of a superhost! She gave us a warm welcome (and there were cake slices waiting for us in the studio!). She was our local guide who gave suggestions about the places to visit and the suitable timings to visit them as well. For example, she helped us confirm the timings for low tide for the day (causeway opening times) when we were supposed to visit St. Michael's mount in Marazion. She also offered to drive us to Marazion (since we did not travel by our own car). Such a sweet and kind gesture! About the studio. The studio is perfect for a couple. The ambience is homely and cozy. The place is very clean. Since we went in November, the room was warm enough and the bathroom floor could be heated whenever needed. The kitchen is packed with essential appliances and utensils. About the location. We could write an essay about the location. In short, picturesque landscape surrounds this property. The coastal walk to Minack theatre via Porthcurno beach turned out to be blissful to say the least. There are other pretty locations near the studio like Penberth Cove to explore.

Daphne is a 1960s Castleton caravan, a real classic of her time. She has been restored to a high standard and has a quirky, retro, folky feel with plenty of added charm. Included are crockery, cutlery, glasses, an electric hob, toaster and kettle.
It is secluded and quiet here. We are fairly high up and have views over the moorland almost to the North coast! We can see Chun Castle and Ding Dong tin mine from our place. Our gas powered shower and compost toilet with solar lighting are completely off grid. They are a few metres outside the caravan and shared with the cabin. You can access a firepit for spending time outside in the evening and explore the bridleways nearby.
Rural getaway set within acres of farmland, close to some of Cornwall’s most stunning beaches, dramatic coastine, ancient heritage and artistic towns. We are lucky to be close to beautiful beaches such as Porthcurno and Sennen as well as a stones throw from the local amenities of Newlyn and Penzance. The moorland is visible from here and there are stunning walks to be found nearby. It is secluded and quiet here. We are fairly high up and have views over the moorland almost to the North coast! We can see Chun Castle and Ding Dong tin mine from our place. Relax in the rural surroundings whilst planning active days at a variety of locations nearby.
  • Such a sweet caravan to stay in, very good location to explore Cornwall. Comfy with enough bedding to stay warm if it gets chilly, lights and plugs to charge phones and nice hot shower block. Good privacy away from the main house and the other summer house, loved it and would stay again if we return to Cornwall :) thank you

    Anni2019-08-26T00:00:00Z
  • Had a fantastic 5 days here . Was pleasantly surprised with the caravan . Told libby we was going to arrive early and she accommodated us to get in early . Very very peaceful and relaxing . Piping hot shower and the toilet took abit to get used too but was fine also could do with better lighting in the toilet at night but this was not a problem . Used the fire pit one night was beautiful . Will definitely be returning next year

  • Perfect stay

    Jordan2019-08-12T00:00:00Z
  • Daphne is a very cosy caravan set in the field just in front of Libby’s house. We stayed for 3 nights and loved every second of it, you have everything around you, from newlyn to Penzance. Toilet and shower are kept very clean, however you do become friends with the spiders after a while! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful caravan :)

    Keiron2019-08-08T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place. The views are fantastic both close in (of a charming field) and far away hills. Amazing hot water in the shower which we were grateful for. The caravan is very stylish, having been decorated with a British Marimekko vibe. There were nice touches like Ecover eco friendly dish soap, lovely vintage Sheffield cutlery, and high quality new red upholstery. We survived a windstorm and nothing leaked, although we did experience the drama of the storm more than in a stone dwelling. There are plenty of sheets, duvets, and wool blankets to feel comfortable. Libby and Sam have created a cozy space that is a wonderful escape from city life.

    Matt2019-08-01T00:00:00Z
  • Libby is very great host she keep the caravan very clean and well furnished. It have electricity inside. Outside area is very quiet and private as well. There is very stable network. The bathroom is very clean. Accessibility to this place is perfect it is 5 minutes from Penzance. I have rated it with 5 stars.

    Tibor2019-07-27T00:00:00Z
  • Daphne is a beautiful caravan and a perfect place to explore South West Cornwall. Libby and Sam are lovely hosts and were really helpful whenever I had a question. The farm is so quiet at night that I slept like a log the whole trip.

    Amy2019-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Brilliant location close to lots of good places to visit. Very peaceful - a chance to get away from it all. We enjoyed breakfasting with butterflies who joined us every morning. Daphne is just as she is in the photographs and brought back memories of caravan holidays when we were children for both of us!

An Mowhay is a delightful, 200 year old granite hay barn, sensitively converted to create a cosy and well appointed self-catering holiday space. It lies in a very quiet hamlet in the heart of West Penwith's prehistoric landscape, just a short drive from the stunning beaches at Sennen Cove and Porthcurno. Penzance and Mousehole, arguably England's prettiest fishing harbour, are also just 15 minutes away. An Mowhay is an ideal base from which to explore this varied and breathtaking landscape.
Coronavirus update: Please note that we are closed at present. We are happy to accept bookings for Autumn or next Spring. This is to reduce pressure on vital services in West Cornwall and is in line with Government advice on non essential travel. We hope potential guests will understand and may consider visiting this lovely area later in the year or in 2021. Normally, visitors meet with a warm welcome in Cornwall but at present we are all saying, "Please don't come!" Good luck to one and all. Inside its thick granite walls, An Mowhay has a warm & comfortable living area with lots of original artwork and a wood burning stove. Outside, guests can enjoy wining & dining on a private patio area and are welcome to wander in the owners' adjacent field. There is a private parking space immediately behind the cottage. Please note that An Mowhay is a self-catering cottage - we do provide tea, coffee, milk & biscuits but not breakfast! There is a well equipped kitchen including hob, fan oven with integral grill, plus a fridge and dishwasher. It does not have a washing machine for laundry but we may be able to help if asked. There is a shower room with spacious shower, wash basin and WC, but no bath. Electric heaters are provided in all rooms. Secure storage for bicycles or a motorcycle can be provided in the owner's garage. Please note that An Mowhay has a no smoking rule (inside) and that we do not accept pets. Parents of infants and very young children should note that there is an exposed wood burner and unguarded stairs both inside and out. Enough firewood for a couple of evenings is included and we can provide additional good quality kiln dried logs at about £5 per bag. Please do not bring unseasoned timber as it will produce little heat and lots of frustration! Jane and John are experienced hosts, having run a nearby holiday cottage successfully for several years, with many holidaymakers returning year after year. We pride ourselves in providing honest, first rate service and good value for money. We will do our utmost to ensure that your stay is thoroughly enjoyable.
An Mowhay lies in a very quiet hamlet near Sancreed, with no through traffic and dark skies at night. It is a fantastic base for walking and is surrounded by several iconic prehistoric sites, yet is only a short drive from the coast and the facilities of nearby Penzance. Carn Euny Iron Age village and St Euny's holy well are just few minutes walk away - perfect for an evening stroll. Walk a little further for panoramic views over the sea to the Scilly Isles from Bartinney Downs or Caer Bran hill fort. The stunning stone circle at Boscawen-Un is another short walk across the moorland landscape. Keen walkers can take a longer stroll - about 1.5 hours - across moorland to the spectacular coast near Sennen Cove. The coast path, Minack Theatre, St Michael's Mount, Mousehole, St Ives and the finest beaches in England are all within a short drive. We're also close to the NT garden at Trengwainton and the privately owned gardens at Trewidden. Many guests tell us that they wished they'd booked for longer!
  • The cottage is very nicely furnished and is warm and cosy. Everything you could need for a great stay has been thoughtfully provided. Jane and John are extremely welcoming and helpful. There is a wealth of local information and suggestions to help explore the lovely countryside in the cottage itself. The log burner was a delight, and well stocked with logs!

  • A lovely place to stay quite peaceful and yet near the coast so enjoyed the log fire in the evening would happily return again

    Jean2020-01-06T00:00:00Z
  • Just returned from a wonderful six nights spent at An Mowhay. Jane and John were brilliant hosts and were waiting for us on arrival. We were provided with a welcome booklet which provided lots of travel tips. The cottage was perfect was us: lots of cupboard space, warm, comfortable beds, plenty of towels provided, good shower. We did bring our own supplies but certain things we didn’t need to bring as they were already there (tea, coffee, sugar, milk, hand wash etc). Overall, a memorable, family get away. Thanks again.

Our hosts gave great insight into the surround area, and we found the place to be situated right amidst everything we wanted to see. Would defiantly stay here again, thank you once again for letting us stay in your wonderful cottage!
