Ame and Stu’s lovely attic apartment is the perfect place to stay for a visit in Perth. The views over the North Inch on a lovely sunny morning were exceptional. Sparkling clean and well appointed with all you require for self catering and 5 mins walk to the centre of Perth you’ll struggle to find better value for money. Would highly recommend this quiet haven for a relaxing stay.

I stayed here for 3 weeks to do some writing and I can honestly say it was AMAZING. Jeanie has provided everything you need - a cosy room with a bed, kitchen, bathroom, desk and a little wood burner that kept it all warm during some very wintry storms! The area is absolutely fantastic and is extremely inspirational to get those artistic fires burning; there are some beautiful walks in the woods and up the Sidlaws. It's also only a short drive to Dundee or Perth, or Edinburgh (about an hour) where there are cinemas, museums and so on. Jeanie is a brilliant host, she was there when I needed and made herself scarce when I was in the writing flow. She had lots of recommendations for walks or things to see and do if I needed a break from writing. She has a lovely little dog too which is always an added bonus! I honestly can't recommend this place enough if you need somewhere to write, be creative or just need some peace and quiet away from everyday life. It's perfect.

Annie was very hospitable and friendly. Rocky was a super cool dog. The place was very warm and comfortable. Heavenly hosting 🙂

We had a lovely time with Annie who is a caring and friendly host. We loved warming up by the fire and chatting with Annie for the evening. The bedroom is tastefully decorated and the bed is very comfortable. :)

The cottage is beautiful, so nice and cosy. Loved the wood burner and watching the dancing flames, so warm. It was immaculate, very fresh and clean. Sally was a great host, very friendly and helpful. She helped us arrange a taxi from our wedding venue - a friendly and punctual driver. The raspberry jam is delicious, the flavour just explodes in your mouth - reminded me of my granny’s. We had an absolutely gorgeous long weekend, so peaceful and tranquil with an open view of the countryside and hills. You just couldn’t help relax, hopefully we will return in the future and do more exploring in Perthshire and Tayside. Fabulous accommodation.

Sally’s place is a real gem. Tucked away in a small village, quiet and peaceful for a getaway. The log fire was a real treat and enjoyed working it too. Sally and her partner were really friendly and quick to respond if we had any questions. Definitely looking forward to visiting again in the near future.

Sally’s place is great value and perfect for a quiet few days. We stayed for two nights and would happily book again if returning to the area. A car is needed but Sally makes sure you know where to go and there’s easy parking at the door. The log fire was great and easy to use and the whole house was absolutely spotless. Perth and Dundee are about 15 minutes away and the antiques centre at Abernyte is well worth a visit.

The cottage is amazing. The location is in perfect. The host is great. I would definitely stay here again 100%.

Our stay in this cottage was absolutely fantastic, we loved our weekend and Sally is so friendly and helpful. We especially enjoyed the idiot's guide to build a fire and the homemade raspberry Jam.

Sandra’s home is minutes walking distance from the town centre, and was a pleasant and comfortable place for us to stay after a day of travel/exploring Perth.

Sandra’s place is in a great location, close to the city centre and only a 20-25 minute (easy) walk to the train station. The room was perfect for us. You are provided with breakfast every morning (put in the room the day before so not to disturb you in the morning) which is a lovely and much appreciated touch. The room was clean and extra blankets and a heater were provided if needed. I would definitely recommend Sandra’s place to anyone visiting Perth.

At arrival we were promptly greeted by Paula & Michael before being given a useful tour of the access and flat itself. Paula never missed a thing and put in the effort to make sure our stay could be the best it could possibly be. With it being the weekend, we were even treated to a bottle of craft beer that Paula had surprised us with. Myself and my friend couldn't have felt more welcomed. The 'bothy' has everything you need for a short stay and is nestled right in the heart of the city nearby all amenities. This wee place is just perfect for a short stay and I will not hesitate to come stay again.

Tim and Christina were model hosts. Very warm and accommodating, and a pleasure to chat with. The space was just what I needed for my trip with a charming little living room to relax in and a small cozy room with a shower and sink en-suite. The location was ideal with a bus stop not far from the front door and pubs and restaurants a short walk down the road, and an easy jaunt into Perth. I’d definitely stay again next time I’m in lovely Scone.

This was a memorable experience for us, staying at Hollydene. The cottage, the setting, absolutely everything about it was perfect. My husband had to drag me out when we were leaving, as I was clinging on to the furniture by my fingertips !! Dog friendly too, what more could you need !!!!

This is an idyllic cottage in a beautiful village. Everything you need is there. The cottage is spacious, modern but with a lovely historic feel about it. Comfy beds, great kitchen, fire and shower room. Perfect for groups or families.

Fantastic little cottage, perfect for visiting the area and for attending a wedding in Fingask Castle.

We enjoyed our stay at the cottage very much. It is very quiet and peaceful there. We had lovely walks and watched the birds flying in and out of the garden. It is a great place to visit nature and get away from the hustle and bustle of the big city.

Great little flat for a quick trip to Perth. Loryn is a great host and had some nice touches. Keep in mind on the weekend the pub downstairs can be a bit noisy.

We stayed for a few days over Christmas. Loryn went out of her way to add some beautiful decorations and little touches to the apartment ahead of our visit, which we really appreciated. It was exceptionally clean, bright and cosy. It is well furnished throughout with a lovely walk-in shower adding an extra bit of luxury. It is also well placed for those visiting Perth and is on the doorstep to restaurants and shops.

In the city centre lots to do....every corner you turn..😊

Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is a cosy retreat and styled very with modern but warm furnishings. Located only 10 minutes from Perth City center, a taxi was only £10. Which made going out for dinner was easy and definitely a realistic option for staying here. Check in and out was easy and communication was clear and prompt. Fantastic entertainment facilities, beating many places we’ve stayed at that cost more. Great value and would stay again.

Lovely cottage, good location just 5-10 minutes outside Perth. Nice walks around the cottage and a kids play park in the village. All facilities were clean and fresh and the sofa bed is easy to use. We will be planning a repeat stay. Great base for Perth and the surrounding countryside.

This is a beautiful cottage. It has everything you need for a relaxing break (lovely living room, bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and sun room - plenty of space in living room for our dog crate and for our dog to play with her toys) but also has loads of local info if you want a more action packed holiday. We stayed for five nights so we could attend Dougie MacLean's Perthshire Amber Festival in Dunkeld and we were sad to leave. We're about to rebook for a full week next year prior to the festival so we can explore the areas lovely walks etc... before heading to Dunkeld for the festival 😊

The Garden Flat always exceeds our expectations. The location is great - just a short walk into the city centre and also close to some nice walks just outside the city. The apartment itself is perfect, which is why we’ve stayed there three times! Jill and Dave are the perfect hosts and the apartment has everything you need. We will continue to stay at the Garden Flat whenever we visit Perth - we wouldn’t dream of going anywhere else!

Everything was perfect! The apartment looked already very clean in the photos but when we arrived we discovered that it had just been redone! It was even more magnificent! The bedding very comfortable and Jill very caring for us! We recommend this accommodation without hesitation!

This is a lovely warm comfortable space to spend a family holiday. Lots of walking opportunities and close to both Perth and Dundee.

A warm, cosy cottage just perfect to get away from the stresses of modern day life. This was our second visit and even better than the first time with the addition of a lovely new kitchen. If you like a large mug of tea/coffee bring your own as the mug situation is on the sparse side. Also bring dishwasher tablets and washing powder if you want to use the appliances. You will find the beds extremely comfortable and the cottage is really warm once the heaters are up to temperature. The shower is adequate, plenty hot water and towels. There are lovely walks surrounding the cottage and Perth is a short drive away for any essentials. Rait is a great wee haven to get away from it all.

A lovely little gem of a cottage. Was a perfect stopover location for a family wedding at The Byre at Inchyra. Sandra was so helpful in the lead up to our arrival and answered all questions really quickly.

A quaint cottage with all you need - hot water, dish washer, washing machine,very good wi fi for planning trips. Well positioned for exploring Dundee (V&A and RRS Discovery ) Perth, Comrie croft for mtb and exploring. Sandra lives next door which is helpful if anything goes wrong!

Wonderful cottage. If you want peace and quietness but with the city not far away then this is the place to stay. Waking up in the morning with a handfull of red squirrels dancing in the branches right next to the main bedroom windows along with every type of tiny birds around then this is has got to be hevean. A (very) short drive away from Perth and Dundee and all the inbetween places to visit coupled with the solitude of the cottage was mindblowing. A fantastic 4 night stay was had. Have definately bookmarked this cottage for another stay. Dave & Margaret

Had a lovely stay at Rowan Cottage , bottle of wine to welcome us , our dog had a fantastic time exploring the local area 🐶 as did we , lots of interesting points and only 15 mins into Dundee for some shopping and a chippy

Fingask is a hidden gem and is well worth a visit. The grounds are beautiful with lots of exploring and adventure for younger visitors. The cottage was comfortable and well equipped and we really enjoyed the log burner. All round, a great hideaway and a very relaxing place to stay.

The setting is great: the castle park is beautiful and so quiet. Samantha is very responsive to messages. We stayed at the Rowan Cottage as a family with 3 kids sharing a room and us in another. There is washing machine and dishwasher. The mattresses are a little soft, it's really the only criticism that can be done.

! wanted to give you four stars for description because our stay at Rowan Cottage was so much better than we expected! The cottage is warm, comfortable, spacious, well equipped and very homely, with a great wood burner and plenty of free wood, and the stable yard setting is beautiful. We really enjoyed exploring the estate and especially loved the wonderful, eccentric topiary, the dogs' graveyard and the sculptures. Sam and everyone we met were friendly and welcoming, relaxed and helpful. We were visiting family locally, including my very elderly mother, and having such a lovely, relaxing place to stay was an unexpected bonus, and made everything easier. Our ancient dog was very happy with the wood burner, and more enthusiastic about walks than he has been for ages. Thank you for everything.

We spent four days/nights in the cosy and very comfy Rowan Cottage, within a splendid park in a quiet surrounding and we will definitely be back!

We stayed in this house last night and it was absolutely perfect. We arrived around 6pm and were met by the owner who had put the log burner on for us arriving. It’s a lovely house and if we hadn’t needed to come home for work, we would have stayed another few nights. Thank you very much for having us and I’ll definitely recommend this house to anyone travelling in that direction.

Centrally located for us as we were on a one night stopover before heading to Inverness. Place was very very cozy and Ann Marie was so thoughtful to have left the fire on for us so we would have a warm place when we got in. Ann Marie met us on arrival even though we were late and gave us the warmest welcome we ever had from a airbnb host. Thank you for the wine for us on our honeymoon and i wish we could have stayed longer. We didn't know how to get the hot water up and running and Ann Marie personally came back even though she was out and got it up and running for us. Thanks for the patience and hospitality you gave us and a wonderful place you have got there. We would definitely stay again on our next trip up to the Highlands. Jane’s place is a lovely, stylish farm building converted into dwelling. The house is sparkling clean and spacious. Very quiet surrounding there at night and a comfortable bed made my night truly relaxing. Jane is a nice and communicative person, she prepared a wonderful breakfast tray for me when asked for, what made my further trip much easier. I can certainly highly recommend the place not only as a convenient, close to motorways, stop at a journey as it was for me, but also for a longer stay as located in a wonderful countryside landscape!

One of the best airbnb experiences we have had! We were staying as attending a wedding nearby at Guardswell Farm which is very close. Kathy and Mike are unbelievable hosts - they have thought of every little detail. Their place is really relaxing and they offer you lots of privacy too. Breakfast was fantastic too. Overall a very personal experience and I could not recommend more highly!

Kathy and her husband waited for us until after midnight to arrive from the airport and they welcomed us warmly, on a cold December night. So excellent reception, fantastic house, fabulous, warm and spotlessly clean. Fireplace on and everything ready to spend the night. We recently went to stay with Kathy & Mike for a wedding. They went above & beyond whilst we were there - we are so grateful & will definitely be returning soon! The location & the house itself is stunning (The friendly addition of Monty the dog made it even nicer) - I would highly recommend staying there if you would like a weekend away from it all!

Kathys Space is Perfect . As a host I will travel assessing each place in my head against what I do for my space. Most places will be found wanting, some times in small ways and large ways. I could no fault kathys Room, Firstly you are in effect given a bedroom, 3 public rooms and a kitchen ( the kitchen is in effect a communal kitchen shared with Kathy and her partner plus dog(monty)) the kitchen is fully equipped and is amazing . The Room is a medium sized double but as you do have use of the downstairs areas, you don’t feel cramped . Monty the dog is an absolute delight. Very friendly and very quiet . Kathy offered us breakfast and we gave a time. On getting up and going into kitchen area we were greeted by an awesome breakfast . It was a continental breakfast but having stayed in many other BnBs / hotels on my travels with holidays and work, This breakfast simply was the best Totally recommend staying at this place, without a shadow of a doubt one of the best places I have stayed in

The Den is set in a beautiful location on the edge of Kinnoull Hill woodland Park and within easy walking distance of Perth city centre. We were looking for a quiet break to explore the local area and this was ideal. The accomodation itself was great and everything we we were looking for!

Great little private den. 15 mins walking into the centre of town. 10 minutes up to a beautiful viewpoint in the forest. Super cosy and secure car parking

We had a nice stay at Malcolm's place, although we didn't meet him. The place is lovely, clean and comfy and located near the city centre and the woods as well, where you can find plenty of walks.

The “Den” a perfect stay. In a beautiful neighborhood and just next to the Kinoull Woods pathways for walking. We walked easily to the Perth Concert Hall one evening. It’s easier going down than back up but very doable for us 70’somethings. It was a safe n quiet neighborhood. The Den was clean, kitchen well equipped, and comfy. Malcom and family great Super Hosts. A must Stay!

Really nice little place in lovely residential part of Perth, next to Kinnoull Woods, perfect for dog walking if you have dogs. (Dogs are allowed.) Spotless and everything you need is provided. Great spot!

We had a fantastic stay at Gean Cottage, it exceeded our expectations. The cottage is really well equipped and comfortable and the garden was perfect to sit out in. We were lucky enough to have beautiful weather during our stay so the pool was a very welcome cool down and the highlight for my youngest who we had difficulty getting out of it! The grounds were lovely to walk round, such a wonderful peaceful place, a welcome change of pace. We would love to come back again soon.

We had a wonderful few days at Gean Tree cottage for our Easter break. The cottage was spotless and cosy with everything we needed. The complimentary bottle of wine from the nearby winery was a lovely touch. We also appreciated the easy system for recycling and the eco-friendly toilet paper, it's nice to see a business respecting the planet! Located just past the majority of the estate buildings the cottage felt secluded enough not to have to worry about our two noisy young children disturbing other guests and the grounds of the estate itself are just magical. There is so much to explore and discover, quirky sculptures and topiary, secret wells and footbridges, every venture out of the cottage turned into an adventure. And the trees are magnificent, ancient and towering and full of birdlife, it really felt like a haven for wildlife. We saw deer in the woodland one evening though unfortunately we weren't quiet enough to glimpse any red squirrel. Samantha was a brilliant host providing all the information we needed for arrival and our stay. Check in was very easy and she was lovely when we had to report a small, child related breakage. I would most definitely recommend Gean Tree and any other of the Fingask castle properties. It's a very special place, thanks so much for having us!

An ideal getaway from the hustle and bustle. Set in stunning surroundings and everything you need for hibernating for a while. In winter it’s fireplace is brilliant too!

The grounds were spectacular with an old world sense...bonus with a Castle! The 2 bedroom 1 bath cottage is quaint and cozy. The cottage was spacious and extremely comfortable. Sam is such a friendly person and responds quickly to any questions. I would stay there again in a heart beat.

This Airbnb in Perth is a little gem. Easy to get to with residents parking available. The flat was nicely furnished, very cosy and sparkling clean. The view from the balcony was outstanding, unfortunately we didn’t see the otters. We were surprised at how quiet it was given the close proximity to the center of Perth (a five minute walk over the bridge). Jamie was a great host and gave us suggestions regarding local restaurants. My husband also enjoyed a flight simulators experience at Perth airport which was only a ten minute drive away.

I’ve been going to Perth since 1999, and I’ve always wanted to stay in one of these flats overlooking the river. The view was fantastic and to have an oven and a refrigerator was fantastic. The hotels in Perth do not have refrigerators so it gets expensive having to eat at restaurants every time.

Fantastic little flat with wonderful views and only a short walk to where the city centre action is. From the friendly greeting from Jamie on arrival to sitting with my morning coffee watching the otters play in the river, this was a fantastic place to spend my week away on business. This place will be top of my list of accommodation next time I visit Perth.

The Cottage was absolutely perfect, we stayed over Christmas and enjoyed being cosy by the fire, cooking our Christmas dinner and going for great walks that we could get to by just walking out of the front door. Was such a relaxing few days for us. We would definitely stay again!

My husband and I stayed here for a week and what a wonderful week we had. We highly recommend staying here. Suki was super from the word go with communication. Any questions we had were answered promptly. This is truly a place we would love to return to. You can either get out and be active, or relax, wind down, and study like I had to do, within a perfect setting. The bed was comfortable and the area SO QUIET for a tranquil sleep. We thoroughly enjoyed the daily use of the fireplace and hot tub, and the walks around the area. Thank you for the lovely welcoming touches upon arrival, and the great tips we received during our stay. It was also great to meet Suki's partner while he was walking the dogs. Love Suzy!! And thank you for being so helpful, beyond what is expected from a host. My husband and I are grateful and would LOVE to return. It's a week we truly needed and will remember :-)

Great place for a family weekend.

We had a great week at the cottage, very clean place, relaxing and quiet! Games room is great with plenty to do, Tennis court is also a great extra (even though we weren't very good at it). Our hosts were perfect and even went out of their way to get us some charcoal for the BBQ as we didn't have any. Would definitely recommend and we will be back! Thanks again.

We loved it! The place is beautiful and such a relaxing atmosphere. There was plenty to do with the walks and games room and gym if you chose to use it. Our puppy loved it although didn't want to leave the sheep alone! The information pack provided was very useful. We couldn't recommend the place highly enough!

The cottage is in a very beautiful location, surrounded by peaceful farmland but not too far from Dundee and Perth. The cottage itself was very clean and comfortable and the hot tub was a great addition.

Suki's place is perfectly located between Dundee and Perth. It's far enough away from the road to be quiet and peaceful throughout the day and night. The wood fire and the wood burning hot tub are fantastic although at -7° we needed a bit of assistance to get the water to warm up! Suki was available to help however and lit the tub while we were out being tourists in Edinburgh. Eric is a nice addition and is great to watch running around his pen. When booking, check the temperature in Scotland, the colder the better as the hot tub is rather special on a freezing cold night under the stars! We would definitely recommend!

Sandra's place is perfectly comfortable and clean, and only a short walk from Perth city centre. Sandra herself was a warm and welcoming host, and even provided breakfast, which was a very nice touch. Highly recommended.

Sandra was absolutely lovely! Had some breakfast items put in my room every morning. The flat shakes a bit when large buses drive by, but the location is ideal and the bed was extremely comfortable! Would happily stay here again!

Great place to stay in. Clean, comfortable and good location.

We stayed at Sandra's place just one night, it had everything we needed. The shower room is very modern and clean, however is not an ensuite (we assumed it would be), but it is just across a small corridor and exclusively for our use anyway. For the price, great value for money. Sandra was very friendly and even offered us a lift into the city as it was terrible weather outside.

Everything was as expected. The private bathroom was clean and we loved the chocolate twists at the breakfast :)

Sandra's house was clean and confortable. The breakfast was ready at the evening so we could take it when we wanted. The shower room was private and there was everything we needed! We recommend it

Sandra is a great host, communication is exceptional. We even selected our breakfast before our arrival. The room is very comfortable and a very nice shower room was available for our use only.

Perfect place to stay. Close to restaurants and places of interest. Vegan breakfast was absolutely wonderful. Very clean and quiet, comfy bed. Just perfect.

If you want a nice place to stay nice and cozy (without the noise of the town) that's the place. Jane has a lovely house and 2 beautiful and really kind dogs. I will go back if I go in Scotland again.

Our second time at Tay Street and it was as enjoyable as our first. The apartment is well set up, so close to town and very quiet despite being on a busy-ish road. The facilities are great and breakfast supplies a bonus. We'll be back for sure.

Lovely flat in great location. Very communicative hosts, who met us at the door on arrival. Lots of nice touches also, such as some food basics in the kitchen, and an umbrella by the door. Good parking options.

The flat is in a great location and is beautifully presented. Very spacious with a great bathroom and a very comfy bed. There were lots of extra little touches that made the whole experience fantastic.

Steven was very responsive and offed help on if we needed anything (we didn't have any issues so I can't talk much on response rate). The house was clean and you could tell a lot of effort went into the setup for visitors.

This little gem costs less than a double room in next best hotel in Perth. No negatives I can think of...except wifi a little slow but not a unreasonable speed. Little extras like milk, butter, eggs and bacon in the fridge . nice little touch. Maps and visitor information available. Loads of room for two people. Would definitely stay again. Info: there is steps to the apartment and grave yard at back but not scary at all just peaceful.

A fabulously well appointed, spacious, spotlessly clean apartment, in a very central location. Everything about Blackfriars is first class, with lots of thoughtful touches. I wanted for absolutely nothing in my 10 day stay & it was a real wrench to leave. I cannot wait to return.

This place is having an ideal location. The conditions of the place are excellent. The hosts are meticulous in making our stay most comfortable and homely.

I know Perth well, having been brought up there and can confirm that the location of this flat is perfect. The flat itself is wonderful, it's spacious, well decorated and maintained and having the little patio garden would make a summer trip here very special.
