Quarry View is a quirky, comfortable property nestled in the woods in Pontesbury. Comfortably sleeping 2 with the option of a travel cot/camp bed for a child if needed. Really quiet location but within a half hour drive of some lovely Shropshire towns and ideal for walkers. We provide everything you need for a comfortable stay, including basic breakfast items and logs for the log burner. We are happy to provide info about the area and as we live next door, we are easily contactable if needed

The Garden Room is a private, cosy apartment that's perfect for couples in search of a quiet break or visitors looking to explore the area. It has basic cooking facilities, a king bed, wood burning stove and a walk-in shower with plenty of hot water. We have reliable wifi, no tv and an ok mobile signal. Lovely up here this time of year and plenty of wildlife to be seen - the other morning while drinking my coffee I watched a pair of hares, leaping and sparring in the front yard - just great.

Explore miles of hill, wild heath and forest and then sit by the fire or perhaps on the terrace and enjoy fifty mile views to the Welsh border. Once a milking shed - The Old Dairy - is tucked away down a private drive in an idyllic hamlet in rural Shropshire. The Old Dairy looks out onto Fitz Church which is one of the oldest brick built churches in Shropshire. We live next door at Dovecote Barn but even though The Old Dairy makes up a separate wing to our home, it is completely self-contained with its own entrance and key safe.

There's some fabulous walks, a lovely local and some pretty market towns all within easy reach. There's lots of interesting CDs to to play, is all we ask is that you return the CD to its case and to the appropriate place in the shelf.
