Our newly renovated holiday home with two apartments is located at 1300 m in the picturesque Walser village of Schmitten in the middle of Graubünden: The world-famous ski resorts of Davos, Lenzerheide and Savognin can be reached in 20 minutes each, St-Moritz can also be reached by the Albula cable car in 1 hour all year round. Schmitten is located on a sun terrace above the Landwasser Viaduct, the landmark of the Rhaetian Railway, in the "Park Ela," the largest natural park in Switzerland with unlimited leisure activities.

The apartment is located on the raised ground floor of a Walser house built in 1937 and was gently renovated in 2019. The charm of the 80s has been preserved and supplemented with elements of modern times. According to the traditional construction (family house), the house is not soundproof from the outside or the inside. This means that the roommates are occasionally (sometimes more, sometimes less) audible. Therefore, we ask the respective tenants to be considerate and to be a little quieter when dancing the waltz :)

The 100m2 are set up to give a spacious feeling the the high ceiling (see the charming beams?) and the combined living and dining room. I support my parents in renting out the apartment. Most of the time I am not on site, but my parents are always at home and welcome our guests personally.
