Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Prato

My wife and I stayed at Marco’s for a week for our honeymoon. We both loved it. Pool was beautiful and peaceful. The property is fantastic the pictures don’t do it justice. As amazing as it looks in the photos it is 1000 times better in person. The front gate made everything feel so secure. Walking up the steps to the guest house we were hit with a nice floral smell with all the daisies growing everywhere. Such a peaceful and beautiful property. The view was stunning looking over the mountains. The place was perfect. The kitchen was everything we needed and more, the pull out couch allowed us to relax and watch tv at the end of the night. The patios were perfect for coffees and meals. And the bed was nice and comfortable. Marco left a flower pedal heart on the bed for us which was a nice personal touch. We met his parents (who stay in the main house) they were very kind and gave us our privacy. There was lots of information about the area and things to do. Wish we stayed longer

Fior di Fiesole was a charming, private place with beautiful surroundings. Vat was very friendly and gave us helpful instructions to get about. Highly recommend if you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

I wish we could give more stars! A wonderful place with even better hosts. Delightful hosts and a beautiful location. We could not have hoped for more.

We had a lovely stay with our family for a week. The apartment had an amazing private garden which totally made our stay, and host was very responsive. Train station and supermarket are 5 min drive away which is very convenient. We’d recommend having a car from our experience.

My husband and I, plus our French Bulldog, had the pleasure of staying here for just over 3 weeks. Immediately felt like home, and host family had everything to do with that! Highly recommend. stunning views, fabulous location and some of the most gracious people I've ever met.

Guido's house was absolutely spotless. Clean, cosy, lovely garden, great jacuzzi. The view from to bedroom was fantastic. We loved the company of cat Gianluigi. The house offers everything one needs when on vacation, even more. I absolutely recommend Guido and Francesca's lovely casa. Well done.

We loved it here! It was such a sweet little home and so beautiful. The views are amazing and our host was so kind. She gave us a great dinner recommendation and was helpful with any questions we had! Great stay would recommend for anyone looking for a peaceful getaway!

The real strength of this apartment is the location: 10 minutes by car to get to Prato, 20 to Pistoia and 30 to Florence. Daiana is very nice and we had a good time, recommended!

We stayed here for 4 nights and loved Federica’s place. We were able to cook meals, do laundry, and re-charge for the next adventure. Very easy to explore Pistoia from here. If you bring a rental car just know that you’ll have to park in a public lot. We parked in a free lot that was a 10 minute walk away. Highly recommend!

Carlo and Elena are the sweetest couple and their welcome was so warm and friendly, it made us feel right at home!! There are extra touches like a few things to eat and drink that make a big difference too in feeling home right away. They’re also very reactive and helpful if you need them! The place is beautiful, very thoughtfully decorated and we loved being close to Florence but not in it!! We recommend 100% to stay there after staying for an entire week!

We chose this apartment for our Honeymoon and we can say, that it was our the best decision. :) Andrea is exceptional and very kind person. If we visit Italy again, we know that her accommondation will be our first choice! We will recomment everywhere when we will can. The apartment is in very good place, very near Firenze and Pisa. Andrea had a good point when we wanted to visit a Firenze, just leave the car in Signa town (she recomments a free parking place) and continue by train. Thank you Andrea for everything! The stay was perfect and one of the best stays that we have ever had. The apartment was clean and had everything we needed. We also cooked, which we usually don’t do… So beautiful. A place to come back for. Highly recommended.

We stayed for 4 nights at Monica's house, from the first moment we had a great time, the place is super quiet, perfect for those who want to stay in peace and detached from the big cities, it is about 30 minutes from Florence, the only flaw perhaps is the access to the parking lot and the house, which is via a climb that is not lit at night, otherwise everything is perfect.

We stayed for 5 night and enjoyed this large, well appointed two story apartment. The place was warm and inviting and was an authentic home to be a unique setting. My family enjoyed the surroundings and there was plenty of restaurants to close from. Be prepared to tackle the 52 steps to the apartment door which my 90 year old mother managed twice a day. Keeps you healthy.

Leonardo was incredible helpful and an absolute delight. You can tell he is house proud, the place was peaceful and beautiful. I would go back.

Very cozy and safe home. We took the tram from the airport and Eugenia gave us directions on the easiest way to get to the apartment from the recommended stop. She explained and show how the multiple doors locks to the apartment and made sure we were able to open everything. She also provided a book with instructions on how to use the washer and food recommendations in the area. The bus stop is really close (5 min walk) and the train station is also a 15 minute walk away. At night it was pretty quiet and the bed was really comfy.

We had a great stay at Barbara's apartment. Everything was sparkling clean, the apartment was nicely furnished and spacious. Barbara answers all questions within a few minutes and is therefore a real help in all matters! There are problems with mosquitoes if you don't recognize that mosquito blinds are present. With the help of the roller blinds, you can leave the windows open at night and cool the rooms down wonderfully. You sleep wonderfully in the bed. Since the apartment is uphill, the view was breathtaking, but you better have a rental car to get up and down effortlessly. Getting a taxi or Uber is almost impossible and the approximately 5-minute ride costs more than €20! The best way to get from Scandicci to Florence is by tram. This is tight and warm in the summer, but costs only €1.70 per trip. If we visit Florence again, we would stay with Barbara again at any time!

Lucca is such a beautiful, vibrant and historic place, and Leandro’s apartment certainly added to the amazing few days we had there. Leandro was always responsive where needed, with clear instructions as to how to find the apartment, and a very detailed guest book detailing the local restaurants and landmarks. The apartment itself is totally spotless, with modern furniture throughout. There is plenty of space as well as a well equipped kitchen. The bathroom is very tastefully decorated, and the bed was very comfortable. Overall, I fully recommend Leandro’s apartment, and if we are lucky enough to return to Lucca, we would have no hesitation to come back here.

We had a lovely stay. The apartment is beautiful and had everything we needed. Chiara has put a lot of effort into providing information on anything one needs to know about the surrounding neighborhood. Food, transportation, emergency needs and entertainment that made us feel comfortable in our new surroundings right away. There were several great places to eat just a few steps away. Loved getting cappuccinos & pastries every morning at Cosi on the corner. Not open on Mondays but just a few blocks another bar is. Also wonderful. Bus stop is also very close and easy. Loved the convenience. We were able to get everywhere and back very quickly by bus. Upon checking out our taxi didn’t come. Traffic in Florence is busy. Another reason the bus is the best option. Within 25 minutes Chiara son & neighbor picked us up and got us to the train station. We felt lucky to have found such a beautiful apartment, neighborhood and great host for our stay. Impossible not love. The best❤

The apartment is located next to the train station, just 1 mins walk. Easy to travel around in Tuscany via train. The apartment is clean and very homely. Liliana welcomed us in person and showed us about the apartment. She is very nice and kind, also recommended some restaurants to us. Montecatini Terme is a very beautiful and relaxing town, we wished we can spend more days in the apartment and the town. Definitely, I will stay here again when I come back next time.

Lovely stay in Tuscany! Patrizia had started a warming fire going for us in the fireplace upon arrival, as the weather was chilly and rainy. The house was very cozy, artistically decorated, and well appointed -- it made us feel very much at home away from home. Gorgeous views of Tuscany from the bedroom windows, and a well cared for garden which had lemons, rosemary, basil and many flowering plants. Patrizia was the absolute best hostess and provided for all our needs during our stay. There was plenty of room for everybody in the house, and there was even a lovely little kitchen which was fully stocked (salt, pepper, spices, coffee, milk, and more!). Note there is not an oven, but we were able to cook breakfast every day, and even a few dinner meals for our small group in the mini kitchen (there is a mini fridge which fit a lot of perishable food for its size!, and a small induction stove top).
