Beachfront vacation rentals in Polzeath

We borrowed buckets and spades (and trucks and diggers) from the collection in the shed and took the short walk down to the lovely sandy beach most days. My granddaughter had heaps of fun playing in the shallow pools and golden sand in the sun. There were bodyboards too, but she's a little little for that just yet. Nanny was usually to be found observing us from the comfort of the Cove Cafe and admiring the wonderful vista - St Ives Bay in the sunshine (which is also the view from the house itself). The bravest of us swam in the chilly sea and returned invigorated, eyes sparkling. Suki charged about with energy and enthusiasm, greeting every other dog on the beach. We highly recommend this place. Notes: It's a flat beach, so the sea is very close a high tide and a long way off at low tide. Eating out in Cornwall is expensive. The house has a well-equipped kitchen and there is a Lidl and M&S Food Hall nearby if you are minded to eat in. The train St Erth<->St Ives is a nice option.

We had the best weekend staying in Amanada’s house celebrating a birthday it was beautiful. The house is even more beautiful than in the photos & my 2 year old loved looking out to sea every morning seeing the birds. We will definitely be returning in the future. Thank you so much ☺️ one bonus for families thinking of booking that I did not see prior to our stay is the stairgate at the top of the stairs to the kitchen it was perfect with 2 young children we could shut this off.

The flat is amazing and in an ideal location. It has its own car parking space which is in the barriered car park on the other side of the harbour which we could clearly see from the lounge and bedroom windows. The kitchen was well equipped for our needs. The bed was really comfortable and there was plenty of storage space for clothes etc. We will definitely stay again and we have already recommended the flat to our daughter and her husband. Elizabeth was very responsive to our questions and was very happy to help us.

We had a brilliant stay at this Airbnb! The property was spotless, cosy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable and relaxing break. It’s tucked away in a peaceful location, perfect if you’re looking to switch off and enjoy some quiet time. The hosts were friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience smooth and stress-free. We’d definitely come back and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a calm sea side escape!

Fantastic stay. Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. Could tell a lot of time and thought had gone into ensuring you had everything you needed and loads of really helpful information. Jamie and Tara were wonderful hosts; just next door if you needed but gave you lots of privacy too. Very responsive and flexible with check in time which was super helpful. Quaint little coastal themed apartment full of amenities and all essentials to make trip stress free. Easily connected to local day trips and 10 mins to nearest small town with lots of food options. Beautiful apartment in a stunning location. The apartment was exactly as described and looked in the photos. Immaculate, high quality finishes and appliances. Beds are super comfortable, with enough space in the apartment for 4 adults or family. Location is ideal to not use or need a car, as its located beachfront, next to restaurants, bars and the South West Coast Path for scenic walks. Darren was so easy to communicate with, giving recommendations, tips and quick response times. couldn't fault at all.

We loved our stay here. The apartment was perfect for us - a family of 4 with 2 teens. There is so much to do on the estate - the pool and leisure area were great for rainy days. It was amazing to be able to walk to the beach and enjoy the cafe as well as being able to hire SUPs and wetsuits. Melanie was a great host and was really flexible in letting us change our arrival day (twice!) as well as enabling an early check in. There's loads to do in the area. Highly recommended!

I booked this as a surprise birthday get away for my wife and our two young children and it was the most perfect place I could have ever imagined. The view from the balcony is incredible, especially the sun rise (thanks to my youngest we never missed) is something worth waking up for. The entire house was spotless and the bed was so comfortable! Mel gave very detailed instructions on how to find the home, as well as some fantastic local recommendations. Excellent communication right up to the booking and was very helpful with extras for the kids! The beach is only a short downhill walk away, even quicker if you jump in the pushchair with the kids. The beach is quite small but was perfect for us. Would highly recommend to anyone who is looking for a Cornish getaway and would definitely book again!

The flat was spotless clean and very well decorated. Perfect location for a walk into town and also a stroll to Gylly beach. The view from the window was a delight when opening the curtains in the morning. one thing to note is the flat is a top floor and there is no lift. we never used the Falmouth hotel for swimming or gym but we did find that the bar was a perfect place for a drink on the way out\way back. Would love to stay here again. Never had to contact Nicola during the stay due to no issue's, however we did receive regular updates from Nicola. perfect holiday thanks you Nicola.

What a great find! This bungalow was lovely, comfortable, warm and homely. There was a games console and dvds (although we didn’t get chance to try them). The beds were really comfy. The views from the holiday village were amazing…Even on the most miserable of days. We stayed during half term, so there was a bit of kids entertainment on most evenings in the family bar, but even if there wasn’t, there are books and games galore, besides the outdoor ones. Limited food availability (very basic) but there is a lovely restaurant across the road in walking distance too. Close enough to travel to any other Cornwall sights. Would definitely stay again. This is our second stay at Atlantic View - and just as wonderful. Beautifully situated, with stunning views. A home from home - the space is very clean and well equipped. The holiday village is quiet, but with new facilities open which are lovely. Heated pool, bar and restuarant within walking distance.

Everything was as described by Anna, the Surf Shack was spotless and very well maintained. Anna's communication with us was brilliant since the beginning. The "welcome package" was a nice touch and the Surf Shack has everything you need for a lovely holiday. Essentially we used this place as a base to explore Cornwall, and even though the weather wasn't perfect with a few rainy and windy days, the truth is that we made the most of our time, always with something different to do and explore each day. The local mini-market and entertainment, the play areas and the beach also add extra value to this place. For us travelling with 2 kids, the Surf Shack was definitely a good choice and the kids didn't want to leave it! The only thing that could be improved are the bed mattresses, which could be more comfortable. Otherwise, nothing more to say except that we loved it. Thank you for having us!

Marcus's place was great for our visit to Cornwall. The apartment was very clean and in a nice building. Within walking distance to lots of restaurants and two beaches. When we got lost during check in Marcus was available over phone and he called us again later to make sure we got in okay. Very friendly!

Great apartment with a beautiful view of the beach. Angie was super helpful and responsive, she made sure we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The apartment could have done with a little more thorough cleaning in the bedrooms but overall we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a wonderful stay at Talland Cliff side beach house, we stayed for two nights with our two children and Labrador, the property was clean and comfortable and had all the amenities we needed plus a few extra touches that added to our enjoyment, the family games and the hammock were a favourite for the children and sauna was an added luxury for us :) but without a doubt sitting on the decking and watching the sea was the most relaxing and wonderful thing for us to do! The beach is 5 minutes walk down the cliff side not too difficult but the climb back up may take a little longer but absolutely worth it for the trip down to the beach, there are a couple of coastal paths within a couple of miles of the property and a couple of small eateries close by for lunch with a view. What a gem! The upper beach house is a fantastic find with the most wonderful scenic view to look out to. The house is spacious, homely and full of all the amenities to feel home from home. The outdoor terrace is a wonderful spot to relax and enjoy the view of the beach. With just a one minute walk to the beach and costal path, the location was perfect. Gareth was a great host, responsive and clear instructions. A brilliant stay!!

The most beautiful getaway. The views over the meadow to the sea and St Michael’s Mount are incredible any time of the day and we loved spending time on the terrace. Perfect location for walking, sea swims and east to get into town and explore the Cornish coast. The decor is also amazing with so much attention to detail. Will be back!

We recently returned from an amazing three-night stay at this stunning home and cannot express enough how impressed we were. The décor is beautiful, with every detail in the home reflecting a high standard of quality. As a group of six, the house was perfect for us with it’s fabulous mix of comfortable/relaxing social spaces and split level bedrooms. We enjoyed relaxing in the beautiful living area with its gorgeous sea views and enjoyed leisurely breakfasts in the lovely dining/kitchen space. The house is incredibly well-equipped, offering everything we could need and more. Although we couldn't explore some of the recommended local restaurants due to being in the local area for a music festival, we wholeheartedly recommend this property to anyone visiting the area in search of a luxurious stay. Communication with Iveta before, during, and after our trip was excellent, providing all the necessary instructions that we needed. Overall, we had an amazing time in this beautiful home!

Beautiful and relaxing! Views are spectacular, just as the pictures show. Home is located in small quiet port, but Port Issac is a 5 walk up the hill. And many larger ports 20-40 mins drive away. Thoroughly enjoyed our time there, a week went back quickly.
