The île de Ré is a picturesque island located south of Brittany, in the Atlantic Ocean, off the beautiful city of La Rochelle. A bridge links the island to the mainland. The climate is pleasant due to the presence of the Gulf Stream. Summers are warm and sunny. The island is famous for oysters and ideal for bike enthusiasts. Our home is located in the "North " part of the island. We are close to the ocean. Ars en Re has been voted one of the prettiest villages in France!
