Helen’s property at Carnon Downs is the ultimate spot for a family getaway. Nestled in the heart of Cornwall’s most hidden corners, it’s as if you’ve struck gold and found a secret treasure. The drive there? Well, let’s just say it’s an adventure that could rival a rollercoaster! With all the essentials like shops, fuel stations, and even an auto repair nearby (just in case your car decides to join in on the excitement), you’re well-covered. As someone who has surfed the waves of Airbnbs across the globe, I can confidently say Helen’s place is right up there with the crème de la crème. Why? Because it’s spotless, fully equipped, and nestled in a neighborhood that’s as warm and welcoming as a long-lost friend. This house teeters on the edge of being a full-blown hotel, with its top-notch facilities—but, thank goodness, it’s not. It’s got all the pampering you’d expect, minus the commercial frills like breakfast in bed, Wi-Fi, or a gym/spa, which actually makes it feel more like a home.

Elliot and Becca's place is fantastic. It is really well equipped and beautifully decorated. The kitchen and dining area is spacious and comfortable, with separate cozy sitting rooms. Check in with a key in a lock box was easy, and the hosts were flexible about our late arrival. We had a super time and would love to stay again soon.

Had a life time experience!!!! This stay became the most memorable stay of our life. The property itself was so amazing that you could honestly spend whole day playing cricket, tennis and doing swimming. The room was so upto the mark that as you enter you feel like home. I honestly have a-lot to say about the host and property that this space wouldn't be enough. In short LOVED IT!!!!! Thank you James for making our trip so special.

We stayed for 3 weeks in the cabin. Andy and Eileen were lovely & friendly, and Eileen's delicious baking was an unexpected but welcome highlight of our stay. Cabin was absolutely spotless, not a speck of dust anywhere, we've never stayed anywhere so clean. Our little boy enjoyed fussing their lovely dogs and imitating the chickens. The setting is idyllic and there are walks all around. Thank you for a lovely stay!

Cosy country gem for two

Linda's cottage was perfect in all respects for 2 people. It is situated in beautiful unspoilt countryside, yet close to amenities - if needed. We used the cottage as a base to explore Cornwall and found it was well located to do this. The cottage was exactly as described and photographed in the listing. Linda was friendly, helpful and unobtrusive. We highly recommend staying at Linda's Cosy Cottage. We hope to return and explore more of Cornwall and would plan to again use the cottage as a base. Thank you Linda!

Really handy location, walking distance to lots of great restaurants and all amenities of the lovely city of Truro, as well as being close to Falmouth. The accommodation was very comfortable with a well stocked kitchen area, and a nice powerful shower. Graham gave us really good recommendations of things to do that we would never have thought to, which we tried out and loved. He was also very friendly whilst still respecting our privacy. Great stay - thank you.
