Our Agriturismo Podere La Fornace is a historical place, family-owned for more than 200 years, only 3-4 kilometers or 5 minutes by car from the beautiful UNESCO world heritage town Assisi. The scenery is magic with the view on Assisi and the farmhouse being surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and fields of crops. La Fornace is perfect for guests who want to explore Umbria - pretty much all major sites can be reached within 60 minutes - but it is just as perfect to take a break and relax.

A privileged position, in the historic center, very close to Corso Vannucci, on the top floor of a building that retains all the charm of a ancient home. From the windows you can see typical views of the city; a few steps away the museums, churches, theaters and the most important and beautiful shops in the city. You will have breakfast in a large dining room which in summer can also be enjoyed on the balcony. In winter, you can relax with a hot tea in front of the fireplace.

We offer two apartments in the main building and small detached cottage. with shared pool, which opens mid May to mid October. For guests who stay in La Capannina our small converted barn with terrace, breakfast is available on request. Independent of the main farmhouse this little cottage offers a very comfortable double bedroom and en-suite shower room. Tea and coffee making facilities are provided.
