Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Parma

As others have said—all of the reviews are spot on! A unique setting in the countryside about 30 minutes drive to Parma on mountain roads, beautiful historic building and grounds (with tastefully updated bathrooms to go with the historic charm, plus even a clothes washer and dryer you can access, a rarity in Italy), and a consummate host in Maria Teresa. Using her knowledge and connections to get personalized tours of smaller local parmigiano and prosciutto factories was a real highlight, and we especially enjoyed the nearby Torrechiara castle as well. The kids loved her animals too. 10/10 stay!

Hands-down, this was the best Airbnb experience of my life! They went above and beyond to create the most welcome and inviting home for us to dwell in. Their house was thought of on every detail and in creative ways decorated like an artist! The family was so sweet. the wildlife and the beauty of the area cannot be described. It is a really truly magical and wonderful Place. They had food awaiting us, craft sausage, and a big block of Parmesan cheese, and bread awaiting us along with the bottle of wine, it made for an amazing snack and breakfast as we came in late that night. We didn’t want to leave, and we hope to come back soon! Their care and generosity of this host is unmatched. Thanks!!🙏🏻

We spent a wonderful week with four adults and two babies in the beautiful accommodation. The house is very cozy, the garden beautiful and spacious, the view fabulous and the tranquility a pleasure. We were received in a very friendly manner and communication was very fast and helpful throughout the stay - also with regard to tips for restaurants or excursion destinations. We will be happy to come back, thank you very much!

A dive into the past in Marco's home, a delightful home well furnished with retro taste, large garden and super location! Marco is very helpful and always attentive to respect requests! I recommend it

This was the most beautiful home I have ever stayed in. And Federica, the most wonderful gracious host. The house and its furnishings are magnificent. The amount of effort made by Federica to welcome and accommodate her guests was truly extraordinary. I only wish we had spent more time in Modena during. Our tour of Emilia Romagna. If we are ever in the area again we will surely try to stay at this home. Thank you Federica for making our stay a most memorable one!

We had a lovely stay in this apartment. It is as described and located a 10-15 minute walk from the historic center of Parma. The apartment is very quiet and the bedding is very comfortable. It is well appointed and is very well located. Supermarket, restaurants and bars are nearby. It is also equipped with a very nice parking space. Communication with Laura was very good. The small problem with the hot water boiler was solved during the day. I would highly recommend it.

We had a great time in Parma at Giovanni’s house! The apartment was centrally located in town and had all the amenities we needed for our stay. Giovanni provided helpful parking instructions to ensure we stayed outside the ZTL.

Barbara’s apartment was perfect for our stay in Parma. It is in a great location with a short walk to the centre of the city. Barbara’s restaurant suggestions were very welcome.

Gianni’s apartment was great. The balcony was such a special treat and we enjoyed our morning beverages at the table. Great location and easy to walk to everything. It is in the center of many restaurants and is loud later into the evening. But we came prepared with ear plugs so we slept fine.

This is an amazing space. Very very clean. Lots of amenities. And a porch to walk out on and look down at the square and look at the views and watch the Starlings. You can walk everywhere and lots of shops and restaurants. Lots of comfortable space.

The stay at this property was truly impeccable! The house was exactly as described: attention to detail and equipped with all the necessary amenities to feel at home. The location was in a quiet area and within walking distance of the historic center, ideal for exploring the city without stress. The host was helpful, kind and attentive to every need. He provided very useful information on restaurants and public transport, always being present but never intrusive. The attention to small details was also highly appreciated: there was something to eat for breakfast, coffee capsules... I would recommend this accommodation without hesitation to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-organized experience.

The apartment is cozy and very well located. It is exactly the way it was described. It was easy to communicate with Alfonso and Laura. They shared information about what was happening in town while I was there. I would stay there again if I come back to Parma.

A trip chosen almost as a game with my girlfriend Oriana, three days of wonderful emotions and sensations to take home. Assunta and Ivan, with their Matilde (a wonderful and extraordinarily sweet dog), transported us to a dream, from the warm welcome to the small touches. And if the details make the difference, and they do, there are many details here, from the cleanliness of the place, to the amazing breakfasts! Their B&B project is of extraordinary beauty. From the moment you enter, wonderful scents follow one another, from lavender to dry straw; the colors are earthy, natural, sincere, a bit like their smile. It was great chatting with them about anything. We recommend that you learn as much as possible about the place and its surroundings. There are wonderful stories in those valleys full of nature, and they are there within walking distance. This extraordinary place really deserves to be seen, but above all experienced. Highly recommended!

The apartment is located in a residential area of Parma, a stone's throw from the central Via Emilia Est, along which you can easily reach the historic center. Nearby there is no shortage of shopping malls, bars, shops and restaurants, parking is reserved and there is also the possibility of parking bikes or motorcycles indoors. Nothing to say, everything was fine.

This apartment has the perfect location. Near a lot of restaurants, shops and some of the nicest streets in Parma. It has everything you need and the bed is super comfortable. The only downside that really only applies to people traveling alone with heavy luggage (like me), is that there is a staircase you need to climb up in order to reach the apartment. Besides that, everything was amazing!
