Family-friendly vacation rentals in Palermo

Great little apartment, very cute with a nice balcony and spacious bedroom, the bed was very comfortable and it was quiet. It is about 15 min by foot to the center, even though the neighbourhood is a bit shady, we had no issue. We parked the car on the street with all other cars and it was not damaged. Roberta was a very nice host, offering tea and almonds and explaining where to go and what to do. There is an elevator on the 4rth floor, where the apartment is, however it's worth mentioning that if you have mobility issues, you might have a slight problem with it because it's essentially a loft of a larger apartment, reached via a steep vertical staircase. That wasn't a problem for us. I reccomend this place

Wish we could stay longer and hope we can come back! Spectacular outlook from this beautiful place. So much history! It was the perfect base and easy access by foot to any sights. Peaceful yet you felt in the thick of colourful Palermo also. Kind and friendly host. Just book!!!!

Exceptional apartment, walking distance to all the sights and food. Very comfortable place with everything you would need. And yes the balcony view was fantastic, especially early morning and sunset. Antonio was a great host, reliable and communicated promptly. Palermo is a vibrant city and we loved it! Love to come back and stay again!

Fausto was a fabulous host who made us feel at home both in his apartment and in Palermo generally. He checked in regularly to make sure all was ok and was kind enough to send us a long list of places to eat. His enthusiasm for his beautiful country was infectious and the view from the roof terrace truly is magical!

We had a great stay at Giacinta’s place. We were able to drop our bags and check in early which was really helpful as we had an early flight. Giacinta and her husband were also so lovely and helpful with restaurant recommendations, and a bottle of wine. The apartment was spacious, lovely balcony, well positioned for walking to the historic centre and the main train station. A great stay - thank you!

Perfect location in Palermo and I hat a view! Right across from the Palermo Cathedral and all the historic sites but away from the craziness of cuatro Canti.!

Sandro has great hospitality and passion. He gave us amazing recommendations to restaurants, supermarkets and places to visit. It certainly made us enjoy Palermo even more. The apartment is a piece of art, full of antiques, very clean. If we would to visit Palermo again is Sandro’s apartment would definitely be our first choice again.

Antonino’s apartment is located perfectly in the centre of all the activity in Palermo! Walkable to all the best and most significant sites in the historic centre and dining options galore. Antonino accommodated our early check in and greeted us upon arrival to show us our dedicated parking stall - super handy when self driving in Palermo! The apartment is very comfortable and well furnished and we would gladly stay there again!

Wow! From the moment we arrived Francesco and Cynthia made us feel welcome, at home and we left feeling like part of their family. The house is absolutely beautiful and we had a wonderful, private section with everything we needed - including a lovely outdoor shower, table and chairs. The private pool was perfect for a dip after our day trip to Palermo. It’s just a few minutes walk to the beautiful Mondello beach, and lots of bars and restaurants. They responded to every request immediately - even driving to the supermarket to buy us bottles of water! Cynthia even wrote a plan for us when visiting Palermo - which we used and worked perfectly. We’ll remember this holiday forever because we got engaged on the trip. But also because we met such wonderful people and stayed in such a beautiful home - thank you Francesco and Cynthia! As promised, we will definitely be back one day ❤️

We had a great time staying at the large spacious villa. A real nice view from the terrace on the pool and sea and garden! Very friendly and helpful host Guiseppe. I can really recommend this beautiful villa!

Beautiful, comfortable modern accomodation

We stayed at Lampeduso for 3 nights and it definitely wasn’t long enough. It’s such a great Airbnb in a perfect location. Palermo is such an interesting city, with its mix of cultures and all its gritty charm. The palace was perfect. It rained for two of the days we were there, but because the villa was so fantastic, the weather didn’t affect us at all. The place is huge, with great amenities that made a big difference—washer and dryer for our soaked clothes, umbrellas ready to go, and plenty of space to enjoy a good card game. When the sun did come out, we spent early evenings on the patio next to the pool. Honestly, the villa alone makes us want to return to Palermo.

The whole apartment is amazing but the roof top in particular was out of this world! To have the outside space in the middle of the city is a real treat and Stefania’s place is an oasis of calm. It is just off the main thoroughfare so brilliantly located yet very peaceful. We were two couples and there was masses of space to be together and have some privacy when wanted. The kitchen has everything and more and I think belongs to a very good cook! Stefania arranged a taxi from the airport which made arrival smooth - especially as a flight change meant we arrived late and finding the apartment without Andrea’s help would have been much more difficult. We received lots of information in advance and were given tips and suggestions for places to visit and eat in Palermo. Everyone we encountered to do with the apartment was charming and could not have been more help including the friendly neighbour and delightful housekeeper. Thank you so much Stefania. Wish the dogs were included!!

We loved our stay at Marida's and Beppe's place. The little villa's are cozy, comfortable and have all you need. Also for staying with a baby of 11 months old. The garden is beautiful and the pool is the best, with an amazing view. Good to know for young parents, the (non video) baby monitor we took with us reached from our villa to the pool! The location of the stay is a good base to explore several beautiful fishing villages, beaches and of course Palermo. The only downside being that while the closest village is at an okay walking distance, the unpaved road to walk on is not suitable for the average baby stroller. To close off, hosts Marida, Beppe (and Bonbon!) are very friendly and thoughtful hosts. With a very interesting background in science and art, which made our stay even more enjoyable. Thanks for having us!

Great place. Spacious, nice pool and fantastic views. Nice outside kitchen for breakfast and evening. Mette-Mari was very helpful suggesting places to visit and eat.

Spacious vila with great outdoor space and good privacy. We stayed with our family with young kids and besides the pool there was plenty of entertainment for them. We loved the involvement of host Rosario. Very involved during our visit and made sure we had everything we needed. Thanks Rosario for our nice holiday stay at your vila as well as for the nice treats.

The apartment is great, especially the location, it is right in the center and I walked basically everywhere. Also felt safe walking alone at night, as there are always people around. It is at a main street, so not too quiet, but not disturbing, I slept very well. Apartment was clean and comfortable and Antonio a very friendly host. I will definitely book it again, if I visit Palermo again.

This place is just t what it looks like in the pictures. Besides being beautiful, clean, comfortable with a great location it has an incredible home vibe which is hard to find sometimes in other peoples places. We had a wonderful stay in this truly unique and atmospheric apartment. The interiors are even more beautiful in person... from the richly painted ceilings to the bold colour palette and vintage touches, everything feels both curated and full of character. The living room was spacious and comfortable, the bedroom serene and well-designed, and the bathroom was a highlight with its 1940s tub and gallery wall charm. One of our favourite things was the host’s incredible music collection; such a thoughtful and personal touch that added so much to the vibe of the space! We felt right at home. The location was ideal for exploring Palermo, and check-in was smooth and well-communicated. Overall, we’d absolutely recommend this apartment to anyone wanting an elegant, soulful, and memorable base in Palermo.

Giovanni was a super responsive and welcoming host — he met us at check-in and gave a great rundown on all the must-dos in Palermo, along with helpful tips on how to get around. The apartment itself was homely, spacious, and very comfortable for our family of four, with 4 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms — a real luxury! The sunlit balcony was a lovely spot to enjoy a drink, and the fridge was thoughtfully stocked with fruit, yoghurt, eggs, bacon, and cheese — a wonderful touch. The location was perfect too, right in the heart of the action, with all of Palermo’s historic centre within easy walking distance. A fantastic base for exploring this beautiful city!

A group of 3 couples we loved staying at Caterina's gorgeous house. Stunning location in a peaceful area with private beaches and stunning walks. Caterina is the perfect host with everything supplied including thoughtful pantry and personal items and an awesome kitchen full of great cooking appliances. wonderul deck for afternoon relaxing. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again.

We got delayed but our tiredness went away the way they welcomed us. Salvatore has a beautiful family, the sweetest mom, coolest dad and a helpful brother. The place is near to the historical center and there are lots to do.

We have just returned from a great 6 nights at Michele and Doriana's apartment after 4 nights in Palermo. The location is brilliant, with a supermarket just 5 minutes up the hill, and a really nice bakery 5 minutes in the other direction (called Le Delizie, great for breakfast but closed on Wednesdays)! The hosts gave really good recommendations on things to see and do, especially the boat trip which we loved! The boat was also €100 cheaper than the one we used in Palermo, and it also lasted an hour longer! The apartment itself was perfect and matched the photos exactly. The terrace at the top was perfect for having a drink at night. The only downside we could find wasn't anything to do with the apartment itself, but it was the noise on 2 or 3 nights coming from the park outside. Many young people were out until 2am playing really loud music, which made it impossible to sleep in the room facing the park. We would 100% stay here again in the future. Thanks for having us!
