This Kyoto Machiya "Mitsuishi" is a renovated house in Ebisubambacho, Kyoto. It belonged to the household of Bamba, who has traditionally lived and prospered in Ebisubamba. It is a government approved accommodation so it is safe and reliable. When renovating the house, we tried our best to keep or reproduce traditional structures such as the pillars, walls, and dirt floor, while replacing the bathroom with new modern facilities. *Lodge tax will increase from 200p.p. to 400p.p. from 2026.3.1

You can also use the kitchen if you want to cook. Make yourself at home :) It takes 7 mins walk to Kintetsu "Toji Station" and 15 mins walk to "Kyoto Station", so great access to sightseeing spots.

Keihan Shichijo station 5min by walk from the house. Kyoto station 8min by bus or 15min by walk from the house. Taxi 5min from Kyoto station(650-800JPY) 1-4 person. You can sleep in the futon on the tatami. The house has 4 rooms about 80m2 !!!! There is no Wifi !!!!
