Family-friendly vacation rentals in Osaka

We had a great stay and many thanks to the host, Will, for waiting for us on our day of check in. It was raining that day. We were not confident in parking our car in the given slot outside the house as the roads were quite narrow but were thankful to find a nearby carpark to park our car. Everything was perfect. Beds were clean and very comfortable. Nice kitchen with all the necessary amenities. Some toys were provided at the house to entertain my toddler while we get busy settling down. Very good TV entertainment too with Netflix etc available to connect. I appreciate if there can be block out curtains in the room with two beds. Sunrise comes early around 450am and I am a light sleeper so it is a bit too bright for me to sleep once daylight seeps into the room. Otherwise, this house is perfect for a family stay and will highly recommend!

This is our 2nd time here and we loved it! We really enjoyed the area and surroundings, and found the unit to be very comfortable for us. Its a very easy walk to two train stations, so very easy to get here. Lots of supermarkets nearby and great places to eat. The unit itself is perfect for us as a couple. The kitchen allowed us to prepare food, as we ate in most days. The washer/dryer combo is such a convenience. We can't wait to come back! Mika is a wonderful host and an even nicer person :-)

We had a marvelous time and our host was incredibly sweet. He greeted us when we arrived, helped with bags and gave us a tour. He even came to see us off at the end of our stay. So wonderful!

Very close to the subway station, easy to get around, and very quiet, very comfortable to sleep!Although the room is not big, it is fully equipped to meet all needs. I will recommend this place to my friends!

This is such a great place! It was clean, spacious, and close to so much shopping and restaurants! The metro closes fairly early, but this place is just a quick walk down to dotonbori so you don’t have to worry about getting home.

A genuine old school residence in a quiet neighbourhood. Very easy walking distance to Merica-muri for street culture and Dontonburi for your Blade Runner vibes. Same for Namba Osaka Metro/JR for uptown escapades of Umeda. Take time to understand the description, this place is exactly as it says - an older house, steep wooden stairs to bedrooms, and equal parts charm-rickety depending on your personal view point. Two couples - we enjoyed it immensely! For the best of Osaka punk rock, check out Hokage live house. Coffee at Osaru (5min walk) is 100% on point. Life Supermarket is a 4minute walk and open til midnight. All in all, hard to beat for this type of genuine, local experience in Osaka, you don’t see much of on the ol’ ABnB.

First time in Japan, the place was very clean and spacious for 3 of us. The location was excellent many eateries out the door. Very close to Dotonbori River walk. We really enjoy our stay and would definitely stay here again. The host was very responsive and friendly we felt safe. Thank you

The house is amazing and spacious! It’s as if you took home with you. The location is perfect—just 5 minutes walking to the train and little konbinis. The washer and dryer were impressively efficient—about 30 min each load. The baths are amazing no matter which one you use—the water pressure is so strong and soothing after a long day of walking! (Personally, I loved the tub.) Each room is cozy and has its charm, and has soft, clean beds. The kitchen was sufficiently supplied for both instant meal reheating and home cooking. Instructions were clear for recycling. Overall, a wonderful place I’d come back to. My family loved this place—hoping to book Huddleston home when I return with friends. Thank you, Chad and Jennifer!

This placed we stayed in was really great and worth the price. The place was as spacious as i imagined, clean room and bathroom, good air ventilation. Only 10 minute walk from tennoji station. Host was also really responsive and helpful. I totally recommend this unit to anyone, especially families, who are staying in Osaka.

Very well located accommodation: a short distance by metro from Universal Studio and Expo 2025 (as well as many other attractions that we couldn't see due to lack of time!) Kiki was extremely responsive and left a short guide with lots of local recommendations, as well as a personalized little message and local snack. Very responsive and available. We'll definitely have to come back here to discover the rest of Osaka:)

If you’re looking for simple and clean this is a great choice. A bit of a walk to to train stations, but not too bad.

The homestay is very close to the subway station, and it is very convenient to get around; the house is very clean and hygienic, and it is very comfortable to stay in. There are two floors of space, suitable for team travel; Yuka is very enthusiastic, nice, quick to respond, and communication is very smooth.A very pleasant trip, thank you Yuka, thank you Haru House.

1- Nice vintage apartment with easy access. 2- The bed is ample, the firmness is moderate, the bedding is clean and new. 3- All of it. I was very satisfied with the check-in, and I hope the bathroom can be cleaned, and I found a lot of male hair stuck to the wall.

Hiro was a great host and responsive to all my questions. The apartment is central and walkable to many shopping and food attractions. My family loved our stay in Osaka! We will definitely come back.

The place is as described. Very different and a great experience all in all! I wouldn’t stay there too long as the black paint everywhere is very tiring but once again it was to be expected and the place is exactly what you get. Very aesthetic place but be careful if you are tall as all the doors are like 170cm, but once again I think many places in Japan are like that. All in all very good short stay 👍🏼

Juan was able to accommodate our last minute reservation after our initial prebooked AirBnB fell through. She really saved our trip and we couldn’t have been happier with the accommodations. The house was the first of our trip that could truly accommodate our group of 9 comfortably. It was clean, fully stocked, and even came with a surprise gift for us on arrival! It was a bit farther from the original location we had booked, but worth the slightly longer train ride to some of our key destinations (Universal, the World’s Expo, and the Osaka Aquarium). We would recommend this house to anyone coming to the area!

lovely traditional place in a nice neighborhood with plenty bars, restaurants and shopping. handy for the metro station too. comfy base for exploring Osaka.

Not only USJ and the Expo, but also convenient access to Namba and Shinsekai, and the area had a very nice local feel.We recommend the nearby public bath, Chidori Onsen!
