The hiking trail starts directly outside the gate and you can hike into the mountains or between the villages on Orust. Käringön. Nice apartment by the sea. Parking area fenced

Own apartment where you can get to know yourself all by yourself. We were going to share our nice holiday apartment that we are not able to use much this year. Käringön is a car-free island in Bohuslän and completely unique with its location in the far west. On the island, there's a nice grocery store, cozy Peterson's tavern, and a number of great restaurants. Here is also a fish shop with probably the best sea gorge you've tasted. But best of all, the salty baths are just around the corner and the sunsets. Any parking gated community

Welcome to the finest island in the archipelago. Here you have everything in the form of sun, swimming restaurants and cafes. The grocery store is staffed 4 days a week but can be bought in via the ICA togo app, the fish shop is open according to season. Here you get relaxation without any must-haves but also activities if you wish. You can play miniature golf and boule. Kids can play in the playground and play football. Hike the cliffs or stroll the north side with all the nice old houses.

Tourist tips: From Rönnäng, take the ferry to Åstol and Dyrön, (islands with no cars). Klädesholmen and Skärhamn. Sundsby säteri, 2 km from the apartment - very good place for hiking. Stenungsund - closest shoppingcenter. Here is also several restaurants.

Hey. We had a nice time in a nice apartment. Large and nicely furnished. Very quiet and in beautiful rural area. The location is very suitable for excursions. Tjörn and Orust are beautiful. Klädesholmen, Skärhamn, Nösund and many more places were great. We will definitely come back. Hälsningar Jörg

We've had incredible days in Grundsund! Eva and Susanne are welcoming and nice hosts. Responds quickly and will help with what you need. Charming and simple accommodation that was just the right size for us with two children. A very beautiful view from the balcony that we enjoyed every day. The location is super good. Close to shop, beach, cliffs, playground, restaurants and everything you can imagine. Quaint and idyllic surroundings for both adults and children! Can really recommend.

I had a very nice stay in this apartment. It is clean, well-equipped and has everything you need. The location is perfect – close to the city center but still quiet. Dan is a nice and helpful host who made me feel welcome right away. I can highly recommend this apartment!

Very satisfied! Quiet and peaceful area. Fantastically beautiful surroundings near the sea. Short walking distance to Strana. Lina was a great host who responded quickly to questions. We would be glad to come back!

Excellent 3 bedroom house, we had a great time as a family with a baby. The ocean view is wonderful, we even had a barbecue there and the experience was very good, we took some excellent photos. It is in a great location and very close to a regional train station and an ICA supermarket. Another positive point for us is that the house is not attached and maintains a safe distance from the other houses, the area is very quiet and without noise, so that was perfect for our family stay, mainly our baby. 100% recommended.

Beautiful place, close to the water, friendly and calm neighborhood, great place to stay to explore the area. The blinds didn’t close properly but we already told Sandra; the bed is pretty soft, which is not everybody’s taste. Shower could be bigger but was functional. Finally, Sandra is a great host!

Comfortable accommodation with a good view that is easy to find walking from the jetty. The owner is a very nice person who responds quickly and is happy to help if there are any questions. The island is a quiet and cozy place. There is a small ICA shop, where you can also pre-order delivery from Systembolaget or bring it with you.

Close to the sea, house with spa

We spent 5 days in Kenneth and Malene’s house, we were 2 families with 2 kids 2yo. They live on the upper floor and were very welcoming and helpful in giving us several information. Check in, check out and comminication were great, Fast and easy. We had a bit of bad luck with weather, but we were able to enjoy the barbecue and jacuzzi, which are definetly a plus. The house is very well organized with all the necessary kitchen tools and room enough for all us, especially the living room where our kids played most of the time. Malene was so kind to give our kids lots and lots of toys they played with. would have been Perfect to have a second bathroom as we struggled a bit with the kids, but we were aware of that. The location is good, the sea is just in front of the house and we also had the possibilities to use their kayak, but we did not cause of weather. It is a good starting point to visit all the west coast. In the end we had a very nice and relaxing stay. Thanks a lot and see you
