We fall in love with this house. It has a lot of great moment to offer. You can walk on the frozen lake, playing snow around the house, and even seeing aurora from the house window. Love the surroundings! The amenities are also great. Thank you host for the great house with excellent service.

There were four of us in the apartment and we felt very comfortable. Ilkka welcomed us personally. The house is located close to the road and is easily accessible by car even in winter. The sauna is great, the beds comfortable and the sofa new. Spices and coffee were provided. Ilkka organized cross-country skis and snowshoes for us at a good price and marked a trail for us that started behind the house. We also saw the Northern Lights twice. Everything was super straightforward. Thank you very much.

We stopped with a baby and two teenagers on our way north. After a long drive, it was nice to go to the sauna, and to stay loose when they found their own space. The positive surprise was that we got the car in the garage. It was lovely to have a tasty breakfast belonging to the apartment. It was a great place to rest for our pop. It's nice to continue your journey rested. We'll definitely be back again. Thanks for your kind service!

The house is exceptional, beautiful and located right on the lake. The decor is natural, modern and with lots of wood; we felt very comfortable from the first moment. Note the very secluded location; the nearest shopping (supermarket) is about 15 minutes away by car. But with proper planning, that's not a problem either. We enjoyed the quiet idyllic location very much.

We had a lovely stay with our two children ages 1 and 3. Natalia went above and beyond with fresh flowers and groceries for breakfast, this was a really thoughtful touch to the stay. There were gates for the top and bottom of the stairs that gave us peace of mind with the children. The home is cozy and attractively decorated. The location is breathtaking right on the lake with an authentic sauna and barbecue hut available to use. We highly recommend this home and location if you're looking for a traditional private lake cabin. We really enjoyed the remote location, note that it is 20-30 minutes to Rovaniemi and as described, make sure to come with a vehicle that can drive on dirt and gravel roads.

Extremely clean and functional spaces. Good level of equipment in every way. The bathroom had soaps, shampoos, and other basic cosmetics products. The host was well in advance about the practicalities, and all communication was very good. The dog was away and there are nice jogging spots nearby. Strongly recommend!

Me and my partner really loved the stay at Martti´s place - the place was clean and cozy and very close to the Ruka Ski Center. The sauna heated up quickly, the view from the balcony and bedroom window was just amazing! Will definitely visit again and suggest this place to my friends!

It was a very nice place to stay, with a great location, cozy furnishings, great views of the lake and very good karma. The Wooden sauna and cooling off in the lake is a true refreshment. We were happy to be there, very nice hosts. Communication worked out very well, next trip to the North Cape then again.

It was a dream come true! The house is very nicely located. Ideal for skiers, but also for hiking and exploring it invites you. With the fireplace in the living room you get a wonderful atmosphere! The communication went perfectly and you can book beautiful tours on site

We had the second time in this lovely place. This home has a pleasant decor. Clean, clear, and clean. Good beds for sleeping, clean good quality blankets and pillows. All the necessary equipment can be found in the kitchen and elsewhere. We got an ironing board when we needed it. Excellent service. I can highly recommend.

The host responded to messages kindly and showed flexibility. Great for the outdoors, as trails and winter outdoor trails comfortably 50m away on the ice of Lake Talvijärvi. A short trip to the store and the village.

We had an absolutely amazing time at Otso Lodge in Lapland! The cabin was beautiful and provided the perfect setting for a relaxing getaway. The view from the cabin was simply breathtaking—truly a tranquil retreat. The weather was also fantastic this time of year, which made our experience even better. We were able to enjoy some fantastic activities close to the lodge, including a thrilling husky safari and a visit to a local farm, both of which were unforgettable experiences. It was also incredibly peaceful to simply walk around the area and take in the stunning natural surroundings. Overall, Otso Lodge provided us with the perfect blend of adventure and relaxation, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience the beauty of Lapland!

The cottage is small, minimalist, cosy and located in the most beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. It is ideally situated for exploring Oulanka Karhunkierros and Riisitunturi.

Communicating with your host was smooth and quick. We found everything we needed in the cabin and a little more. Summer flowers in the doorway immediately made me feel welcome. Very neat cottage and absolutely wonderful beach sauna! We spent a lot of time on the beach, in the sauna and eating soup. The crowning glory was the insanely beautiful scenery! I recommend it!

It was a beautiful stay for our Finland trip. Definitely big plus points for the nice open kitchen and fireplace, everything was there to cook in the evening and enjoy a nice movie. The sauna space is also very comfortable. Another nice feature was the carport and small shed with tools for bikes and ski stuff, all you need for a little adventure in the North. We would highly recommend this place :) The only minor critique is that you are quite close to other houses and lack some privacy.

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach at a suitable point in the Simojoki river, when the flow was calm. After swimming, it was nice to go to the sauna's gentle steam 🙂

So peaceful and a great place to relax! I traveled with my 3 year old son and after he was in bed I could enjoy the sauna and the hot tube as the facilities were all in the same place. I could hear him if he woke up. Jenny was such a great host and made our stay absolutely incredible! Great things to do around with kids, from nature trails to theme parks. Highly recommend!
