Cozy cottage for a nice getaway in the nature! Truely worth a visit!

Great place in a great location. Outdoor, snowmobile trails, and snail trails nearby. The property really matched the description. Tommi was a great host and responded quickly to messages. Can be recommended to others!

We had an amazing stay! The property was impeccably clean and well-maintained. The location couldn’t have been better, 5 minutes from the Ruka Ski Station, making it incredibly convenient. I highly recommend this place without hesitation!

We had a very pleasant stay. The house is clean and modern with all the amenities you can think of. The lake view is incredibly beautiful. There are no neighbors in sight at all. Truly a rare gem.

This is such an unique place. The landscape, the jacuzzi, the sauna with a view, reindeers around the cottage and Northern lights right in front of the door. Everything was just perfect.

The house is very new and corresponds to the pictures. We felt right at home! If you like peace and seclusion ( for people from the city ), this is the place to be. The extra charge for the hot tub is worth it.

This stay was MAGIC! We cannot thank Lotta and her team enough! It is incredibly romantic. It offers everything you could wish for. All the kitchen supplies, dishwasher, washing machine, sauna, snowshoes, a hut for cooking over a fire. Your own access to the lake. It feels like you and nature. We were also able to observe one of the most powerful boreal auras ever seen (by us) two nights in a row. The sauna and the dip in the snow renewed our energy. Lotta was really nice and answered all our questions quickly, making us feel cared for. We leave our hearts and souls here and wish you, too, the chance to get in touch with this magical land.

Very comfortable accommodation. Too bad the milieu was so great that we were just passing through. I would have enjoyed more than one day here. Really great place, we recommend it to everyone who loves the peace of the countryside.

The place exceeded expectations! Unique, beautiful environment. The cottage is really well-equipped, cooking was easy in the open fireplace and with gas. The sauna was atmospheric, the steam baths were amazing. Communication with Alex is smooth. A warm recommendation for this place, if you want to rest somewhere, this is the place!

Summer cottage at its best, cozy cottage, great nature around, pike and perch came up from the lake. Great place!

My family and I were on an Easter holiday in Kuusamo. We stayed at Suvi's cottage that provided a great setting for calming down. Messaging with Suvi was flexible and quick. The cottage was clean and tidy, it was nice to get there. Grilling in a home, as well as a lakeside sauna and an opening at the end of the day, crowned the holiday.

The cottage matched the description and was in a quiet location. It was easy to find and the cottage road was in good condition. The beach at a suitable point in the Simojoki river, when the flow was calm. After swimming, it was nice to go to the sauna's gentle steam 🙂

Johanna and Matti were very nice, helpful and gave us a lot of advice on what things we could do in the area. They helped us out with reaching some nearby destinations, because we arrived without a car. The Husky-Farm, that was close by, was really nice and being able to feed the reindeer and alpacas on Johannas farm was another highlight. The cottage itself was the perfect place to stay. It was cozy, privat and provided everything needed. We enjoided the sauna and even were able to see auroras directly from the cottage. Over all the stay there was beautiful and I can only recommend it :)

A waterfront chalet is magical. In the middle of nature, without any noise, the lake view brought zenitude. In short, a chalet to recommend to all lovers of nature and tranquility

Perfectly equipped great & wonderful hideaway! Everything was as described & I loved going to sauna, bathing in the lake & showering outdoor under the starry sky. Wild berries for breakfast everywhere and right in front of the door. Great hiking trails (Riisintunturi & Oulanka National Park) within 1 - 1.5 h drive away. I would definitely recommend this cottage & thanks again to Maiju for sharing this wonderful place with me!

This place is MAGICAL! My hubby and I loved our stay! The cold plunge and sauna were amazing, relaxing and much needed after a long travel day. We rented a car, short drive from airport and there is parking. Very safe and cozy. The toilet was easy to use. The breakfast was very good, Tuulia accommodated us with a to go breakfast as we had an early flight. My hubby made us a fire and the bed was so cozy!! Will be back for sure! The cottage is small, minimalist, cosy and located in the most beautiful and peaceful lakeside setting. This is an ideal place to relax and enjoy nature. It is ideally situated for exploring Oulanka Karhunkierros and Riisitunturi.

The accommodation is a dream and the view from the bed was special. The communication was good, it was a very clean and modern accommodation. The check-in and communication went smoothly. The accommodation is also perfectly located for excursions in Salla. We would book the accommodation again anytime! Unfortunately we have to deduct one point at check-in. When we arrived at the accommodation in the evening, all the heating was off. The flat felt as cold as outside. We first had to deal with the heaters and see how they turned on. It would have been nice to have some basic warmth in the flat and not end up in a freezing cold flat. Therefore, the arrival was unfortunately not relaxed and it took some time for the flat to heat up. This could definitely be improved for future guests. Nevertheless, we had a great stay and can recommend this accommodation.

Thank you very much for a wonderful stay. The house is very nice, very comfortable and warm. The sauna is excellent, and the surrounding atmosphere is really nice. The summer period is ideal for recharging your batteries in the forest, and the place is perfect for it.

Päivi's cottage is as shown in the pictures, quite charming. We had wonderful days here in the middle of nature. The sauna is great and we had a very impressive night watching the northern lights from the terrace. Thanks!

A peaceful place and suitable for a small group. It was nice to have the boat free to use during the rental.
