Waterfront vacation rentals in Northern California

I stayed here with my two children, ages 8 and 5, and the three of us absolutely loved it. It was more spacious than I expected, with plenty of space for the two roll-out beds in the living room while maintaining the full hang-out space. Everything was extremely clean, the kitchen fully stocked, and the bath products smell incredible. Anna Marie was very responsive and also so kindly accommodating as we arrived a little earlier than our check in time. The house itself is so thoughtfully decorated, every room is bright and airy, and we felt right at home. We hope to come back! It was a lovely experience for my family!

Great option close to the beach access and airport. Home had nice amenities, was clean and owners made everything clear and easy. Loved the coffee machine! I didn’t spent too much time at the house as I was working but the stay was great and house was well taken care of, comfy bed and well decorated. Lots of labels made things easy to find. They even have dog biscuits for the neighbors dogs. So cute! Thank you.

This place was perfect for my family. It was very clean, and we were very pleasantly surprised by how amazing the view was from the room. The large windows had more than an 180 degree view of the ocean. The sunset from our room was beautiful! The kitchen appliances were great and the room was open and spacious. We would live to come back and stay longer next time.

This place was absolutely stunning and cozy. The view is breathtaking. The bed was comfortable and the house was warm and clean. The shower is a bit short so it might be a struggle for tall people but the bath is beautiful and clean. Our only challenge was that the steps are in no shape for walking all the way down to the beach. They are in serious need of updating if they are to be advertised as usable. We could make it half way down to the deck with care, but beyond that is just hazardous. The deck view is gorgeous. We would still come back, even without beach access. It was a wonderful place to stay.

Evan and David were bother very helpful and responsive to my questions. The spot was nice and convenient walk to the beach. Enjoyed the stay and would book again in the future.

We loved our stay here! Both nights of our stay we caught breathtaking views of the sunset on their secluded patio, while being surrounded by their beautiful flowers. Their courtyard felt like you were briefly stepping into a European oasis, and right outside the gate was the adventure-filled town of Brookings and the Samuel H. Boardman Corridor less than 5 minutes away. If we find ourselves back in Brookings, we will definitely be returning.

I loved Al’s river house. It was a comfy , friendly space. Great for hanging and visiting with friends. The slough is rich with color . The light is wonderful and ever changing. Really not far from delta restaurants and activities. Great bird watching and otters too! The delta is so cool!

Our second stay, and just as wonderful as last time. The views are unbeatable, and the ability to walk to the lodge is an amazing benefit (I loved being able to grab a coffee there in the morning, or knowing I could have a few drinks and walk home!). Beds were comfy. To note, the blinds in the rooms aren’t blackout so the mornings are bright — but ideally you’re up then anyways to enjoy the gorgeous views!

Such a beautiful place to stay. Absolutely better than expected. All amenities that anyone would need. Ken is a wonderful host, made sure that we were happy there. A wonderful place to spend our 44th wedding anniversary. And Father's day. My hubby caught 12 fish off shore. Highly recommend, we'll be back. The best place ever for relaxation. So clean and comfortable. Ken is 5 star host. Beautiful property. 6 deers last night and a buck this morning...who could ask for more. Thank you.

An ideal relaxing place right by a beach oasis. Sigward was really thoughtful about our stay and overall experience. Will definitely come back and would recommend to anyone.

What a lovely home and property! As we pulled up to the house one of the first things you see is the beautiful pool. Quite a beautiful first impression! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Everything was as represented. Very well maintained and clean. We would definitely stay at Adrienne's home in the future!

We had a wonderful stay at Ted’s place. The home and grounds are stunning, and in a close location to a beach and short drive to town. Ted was very helpful and the trip went smoothly. Highly recommend!

The walk to the river is short but not very close. Although it is very private and pristine. Place is clean and host is very responsive and shared all instructions well in advance.

Amazing views of the Pajaro River and Pacific Ocean. Short walk (300 yards) to the beach along a boardwalk or enjoy the views from the livingroom through the large picture windows or deck. Perfect for a couple or young family (the two twin beds in the second bedroom are quite small but my 20 something daughters had no complaints). Abundant bird watching opportunities along with the occasional sea lion\seal and otter.

We loved staying at this location very close to the mountain and restaurants. Super clean and very cozy! Ivana was so kind to turn the heater on prior to our arrival since we got in late. Since we came towards the end of the season, the local lifts were closed but driving up to the mountain and parking was easy. We will def stay at this location again next season

Great place to stay. Beautiful view of Mountains from balcony. clean, had all the little amenities and kitchen equipped for cooking. towels were soft. perfect location. highly recommend Greg's place.

My family of 4 had a wonderful stay! The pictures didn't do it justice - all the upgrades were well worth it and my family thoroughly enjoyed the stay there. My was very responsive and helpful. So glad we found it! Would definitely stay there again.

Fantastic place to stay! Walking distance to some great restaurants and attractions. Great river view. One watch out (has nothing to do with the apartment): underground parking is very very tight. Alternatively you could consider parking across the river.

We’ve stayed at Pajaro Dunes before, but it’s been decades ago. Marc’s place was perfectly situated for privacy and views and was very clean and well appointed. The peacefulness and serenity were exactly what we were looking for. The beachy feel of the furnishings was charming and the unit included all that we needed including an upgraded and well furnished kitchen, a gas fireplace, a comfortable, king size bed and other essentials like extra blankets and a Kuerig coffee maker. Our only difficulty was when inadvertently trying to use the TV remote to change channels…Don’t Do That, Use the cable remote like it says in the instructions. Spent a thoroughly enjoyable four days here with side trips to Monterey and Carmel. Perfect home base for dining out and exploring the coast, and an excellent, proactive host.

Me and my family loved and enjoy this house. Especially the patio areas is beautiful. Right next to the water So peaceful The House has everything you need, and the beds are comfortable. The host was very helpful she was very fast to communicate. We will recommend this to Family and Friends. We, Want To Come Back already.

This location is ideal for those who like easy access to hiking, walking, beach, pools etc. Also a short drive to Capitola, and Santa Cruz to the North. Views from the balcony are way better than the pictures. Stay here, you will not be disappointed.
