Treehouse vacation rentals in Northern California

Loved out Memorial Day stay in Guerneville. Feels like you're in a treehouse. The spectacular wraparound deck gave us plenty of options for hanging out outside. Enjoyed the hot tub and all the plants.

This is our second time staying at Tanya's airbnb and the location can't be beat! You can walk right down to the lake's beach (the marina) which is so convenient since parking is extremely limited. We loved using the boats (kayak, canoe, and paddle boat) & hanging out on the deck was so peaceful. Tanya was very quick to respond when we had questions which we really appreciated. The house had everything we needed and we can't wait to return.

I recently stayed at this cabin, and it was the perfect escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life. The setting was peaceful and surrounded by beautiful nature, making it a great spot to relax and recharge. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and had all the essentials for a comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again!

The Treehouse was perfect! It was perfect for us, 2 couples (altho there is room for more). It was private and the sunset was absolutely stunning! I only had to reach out to Isaac once, and he responded very quickly. I would definitely book there again if we come back for another visit.

We had the most special weekend with friends at Britta’s house! It’s such a cozy property with incredible views of the river. Everything was exactly as described and perfectly clean. Being able to just walk down to the river and enjoy our morning coffee there was such a treat. And the proximity to downtown Healdsburg and wineries made it a great location for all of our weekend activities. Britta and Blake were extremely responsive and great to communicate with too. If you’re considering this property, don’t hesitate - it’s truly such a beautiful escape from the city and we can’t recommend it enough!

My Crew and I came here on a work trip to a local camp nearby. We weren't at the cabin for a long time, but the time we did spend there was splendid. There are many great features to this stay, including the hot tub and game room. Both were greatly appreciated after 12-hour days of work. The Hosts were very communicative and helpful with the check-in and check-out process, and gave lots of info for the stay. Late check out was highly appreciated after working so long; sleeping in was a treat. The only flaw I could think of was the towels. For longer stays, it would be great to have an extra set of towels as backup. There is a washer and dryer, but we were working such long days, and laundry was a time-consuming thing to do. Overall, an amazing cabin with amazing amenities. Would love to stay again next year for our work trip again!

Everything was great! Place has unique climate and it is very cozy. Sara and Tony was responding very quickly and helped us with everything. Place looks so much better than in the pictures :) We really recommend this house!

This place is magical. There’s a creek in the backyard and surrounded by trees. You feel so far away from everything, but there’s a grocery not too far. The coffee shop right down the street is also very good. 10/10 would come back

This is a lovely place with such historic charm. Truly a gem in Modesto and really cool design that needs to be kept up. There are somethings that need to be attended to, and I’m confident they will make changes noted to them. I rented it the night before for the next day so I know that played a role and at the same time, if it’s available then it should be ready. We didn’t get to utilize all the things shared as cool features as they weren’t working. Overall, I would stay again on the premise that certain things are fixed as it’s a beautiful home near my family.

An absolutely stunning place to stay! The grounds were beautiful and peaceful and the tree house is unique with views of the grounds, a relaxing hot tub and comfortable bed. Redwood NP was 30 minutes away and Trinidad had great beaches and places to eat.

Loved staying here for a weekend. Peaceful and quiet among the trees. The space is so beautifully designed and was a treat to experience. I would happily return!

This place is a real find, we booked a last minute weekend when our sons' soccer tournament fell through - we wanted a quiet place in the woods next to some water and this is exactly what it was. Clean, peaceful, relaxing cabin in the woods. Our kids loved the loft / den area and the games room. The whole place was clean and functional. The owners are incredibly responsive and helpful. Will definitely consider staying again - thank you!!

Place was a great mini getaway, it was fun to experience a treehouse with my daughters they really loved it.

What a cozy couple's retreat. Let's start with the bad: if you struggle with ladders, this is not the place for you. Secondly, it felt strange walking to the outdoor shower with the host's kids playing in the yard. That being said, they were very courteous, and we had no issues. Now onto the good: it was beautifully built, the woodwork is amazing, and it's got a great cozy feel. It has every amenity you could want, from the stove to the sink to the bathroom; the treehouse itself was packed with everything you could need. Lastly, the porch was cozy, and it was great to sit and watch the sunset. Would recommend The Lost French Man for pizza. We sat on the porch to eat, and it was great. Childhood dream come true. Highly recommend!

My daughter and I had a wonderful time staying at Bethany’s Tree Fort. They did an amazing job building this and adding so many little details that made our outdoor experience comfortable and cozy. The kitchen and bathroom were well stocked (loved the s’more kit). The shower was great giving an outdoor/indoor experience. Bethany was very responsive and gave great recommendations. I’m hoping to get back there again soon for another few days of relaxation.

The treehouse was like staying somewhere out of a fairytale - stunning scenery and really tasteful decor. They had clearly thought about every detail and wanted to make the space feel like a home from home. Getting to the house was an adventure but really clear instructions and support made that part of the fun! Loved every minute and would highly recommend.

This Airbnb is one of those rare places where photos simply don’t do it justice. The view is truly breathtaking—vineyard, mountains, ocean, and forest all in one. The foggy weather made it feel even more magical. Robin was incredibly friendly and responsive, offering helpful recommendations. We also enjoyed a wine tasting with their excellent selection. We stayed for two nights to celebrate my wife’s birthday, and it was nothing short of amazing. We’ll definitely be back and highly recommend this place. You can’t go wrong with it.

My family and I really loved staying at this beautiful cabin! It was extremely cozy for the cold weather, and was very comfortable for the three of us with three separate beds and very comfortable mattresses and pillows. Our host Nate was very responsive the entire trip and helped us figure out the best trails for hiking and also gave great advice for enjoying the area. We brought in our own food and made meals in the well-equipped kitchen, and had cozy evenings watching shows on the large projector screen. There are also lots of games and books to enjoy! The cabin is extremely close to the southern entrance of Lassen Volcanic National Park as well. It was a lovely and relaxing stay!

Great spot! Even better than it looks in the pictures. Everything is clean and well stocked. Property is very unique and it is clear that a lot of care went into setting this place up.

This is a beautiful home situated in the hills. It sits at the end of a private driveway. The instructions for checking in were clear east to follow. The home is a little older than it seems in the photos, but everything is as described. It’s a perfect escape in Mill Valley. We were traveling with two toddlers and it was magical to see deer right outside the kitchen window as we made breakfast each morning. Would recommend as a stay close to the Tam Junction. 10min away from downtown Mill Valley. Thank you Tasha and Rob!
