Wine/Apple Country Cottage, Centrally Located

Play golden oldies on an upright piano in a home filled with antique furniture, folk art, and lots of books and games. The kitchen and bathroom also retain their vintage vibe. A drop leaf desk and 100 mbps Wi-Fi provide a comfortable working space. Come in the spring or summer to see the garden in full bloom! (Photos included here do not do it justice...) The dappled shade of a grape covered pergola is a wonderful place for lunch. The house has two bedrooms that look out on the gardens. The master bedroom has a queen bed, and the second bedroom has a double bed. There is a well-equipped kitchen and laundry room. Water in the house is delicious, purified well water. A 55" tv is in one of the bedrooms (disguised by a pull-down map). It has Roku but no cable. Enjoy lots of games and books to read, a piano in the living room and access to high speed internet and WiFi. Wander in the gardens or orchard in the back. Relax or dine under the shady grape arbor. I live in a small cottage in the back of the property. While I respect your privacy, I enjoy meeting new guests and welcome your questions. On parle francais. Se habla espanol. The house is located in apple country, outside the small town of Sebastopol. It's very easy to find in a quiet, tree-lined neighborhood across the street from a Christmas tree farm. Apple orchards and vineyards are within walking distance. The quaint town of Graton is half a mile away. It has an art gallery operated by local artists, an antique store and a variety of restaurants including the Underwood Bar and Bistro, rated as "number 4 of America's 50 Most Amazing Wine Experiences by the Food and Wine Magazine." A recent article in the local paper describes nearby Graton well: https://www.pressdemocrat.com/news/9514352-181/explore-graton-west-county-town?artslide=1 In the town of Sebastopol, there is a large variety of popular restaurants. We also have over 40 wineries, including the top rated: Merry Edwards, FEATURED IN JULY 2014 ISSUE OF SUNSET MAGAZINE and just 0.2 miles from the house! Graton Ridge Cellars, FEATURED IN JULY 2014 ISSUE OF SUNSET MAGAZINE and 0.6 miles from the house! Red Car Wine Company, 0.3 miles away. Iron Horse Vineyards also featured in July 2014 issue of Sunset Magazine and 3.6 miles from the house! Other recommended wineries in Sebastopol include: Lynmar Iron Horse Taft Street Cahill Dutton-Goldfield (one third mile from house) Scherrer Freeman Marimar. Enjoy several hiking trails close by, or drive on scenic country roads directly from the house to a variety of attractions. There is a gorgeous half-hour drive through the town of Occidental to the ocean. The Russian River Steelhead Beach is 5.6 miles away. Drive ten minutes farther to visit Armstrong Redwoods State Natural Reserve where you can walk through a towering forest of trees that are hundreds of years old. Historic Healdsburg, with its central plaza, shops, restaurants and wineries is also a scenic 25 minute drive away. The 9-hole Sebastopol Golf Course is a little over a mile away. There is a variety of grocery stores in Sebastopol. My favorite is Andy's, a fruit and vegetable stand that also carries other food. It takes 3 minutes to drive there. This area was not impacted by the fires.

You can walk to the most prestigious shopping center - Westfield Mall - and grocery shop and pharmacy. Spa and restaurants and bar and shopping are only couple of feet away. You may never need to drive. If you have an estimated arrival time later than midnight, please let us know beforehand and we are willing to accommodate your late check-in.

Bring the past back to life in this updated historical residence. The house features original architecture details, a neutral color scheme, contemporary and antique furnishings, contrasting textures and patterns, and an outdoor dining area. Parties are not allowed. This is a beautiful Victorian house built in 1908, with delightful vintage details throughout, and recently luxurious upgrades from top to bottom. It is decorated with French Country theme. The neighborhood is quiet, safe and welcoming. House is equipped with high speed internet (free wifi), flat screen TV, and wash/dryer. Guests will have access to the entire house and the garden. I am a very easy going person. Every guest will be respected and be cared for during their stay. Absolutely no problem if you break a dish, a glass, or accidentally scratch a table or spill something on the carpet. Things are meant to be used and guests should live freely during their visit. I live in Santa Clara, 45mins south of Alameda. Not onsite most days, but always available by phone or text, and will give guests immediate attention. My kind neighbors Dean and Stacy offered to help in emergency situations. My grown up son, Sean (25), lives half miles away from the Airbnb is able to help as well. The home is in a charming neighborhood where people are very friendly and welcoming. It is walking distance to Webster Street, filled with restaurant and shops, and a few minutes walk to the Crown Beach with miles of trails and stunning views. The Victorian house is convenient and central located, walking distance to coffee shops, restaurants, 7 miles to Oakland International airport, 4 miles to Coliseum, Oracle Arena. Experience the great outdoors indoors in this rural bungalow, as seasoned leather and wood notes combine with mountain-themed decor. Outside, valley and High Sierra views stretch to the horizon. Sit quietly by the fire pit for a chance to spot deer. You feel as if your all alone and have private surroundings, yet so close to everything you may need. The house is open and inviting. Outside has an amazing fire pit with beautiful views with deer families traveling through the property often. It is a peaceful home and location yet so close to many incredible places to visit like Yosemite National Park. You have access to the whole house - garage excluded. Nestled among the trees, this home is close to the town of Oakhurst, where there are plenty of stores and places to eat. The home is a short drive from the entrance of Yosemite National Park. The home is very private. You cannot see neighboring homes. Public transportation is available to Fresno and to Madera from Oakhurst but not really in town. There is a company that will take you to Yosemite for an additional charge. New propane bottles are in the fire pit and bbq for your use. If they run out there will be a fee to fill them up again, $25 per bottle - please notify us if you do need a refill.

My stay with Bruce and Alfredo was truly exceptional; they are hands down the best hosts I've ever encountered. Their accommodating and communicative approach was clear even before my arrival. The home is beyond beautiful - from the amazing gardening to the thoughtfully decorated interior, you'll really enjoy your time here. Whether you need to get some work done, or just want to relax, there's plenty of space to do just that. The location is amazing too! The neighborhood is beautiful and tranquil, but there is plenty to do in walking distance or a quick ride on Muni. Beyond the wonderful setting, Bruce and Alfredo's kindness shone through. I genuinely enjoyed our conversations, and their presence made my stressful move to the city significantly smoother. Their excellent restaurant recommendations were an added perk! For anyone seeking a serene retreat in a gorgeous home with truly outstanding hosts, Bruce and Alfredo are the perfect choice.

While my overall experience was positive, I did notice some discrepancies between the photos and the actual unit. The photos online show a more open space and a conventional bed, but the unit I stayed in seemed a bit more cluttered and had a sofa bed. The sofa bed is outlined in the listing but updated listed photos of the sofa bed and unit itself would’ve been nice to have seen beforehand. As the sofa bed was not too comfortable and caved towards the middle so I ended up sleeping on the folded couch instead of the pullout bed during the duration of my stay as this was more comfortable. The unit was still clean and functional. The location was quiet and the backyard is beautiful, and the amenities provided were as described. I do not recommend walking around too much for safety sake outside of the residential or shopping areas as I had some older men cat calling during the day during on of my walks and used ride shares more than I would’ve liked. All in all great host and clean stay!

Matthew's home was, hands down, the best Airbnb experience we've had. The space is generously appointed and very well maintained. Matthew was very responsive and left us a thoughtful note along with a comprehensive guide on the home. Our group was in town for a wedding and having such a nice space, nestled in the park, to spend our time really elevated the overall quality of our visit. This is a home people actually live in and clearly care for which feels rare with Airbnb these days. Would highly recommend!

This place really lives up to its name - Urban Oasis. It should have the word paradise added to the description. I was looking for a place to host international guests and wanted a place which they could rest and have some privacy as they recovered from jet lag. As a local resident, I found it hard to believe that such a beautiful location existed so close by. The backyard reminded me of Hawaii. It was so beautiful and serene. Albena has gone above and beyond with all her unique decorative touches, supplies for the home (from phone chargers to best selling books). We used the kitchen quite a bit and it was stocked with pots, lots of dishes, and cooking utensils and supplies. Albena was so warm and friendly and super responsive and had some great tips for what to do. I even learned a few new things. My guests would have been happy to just stay in the home and enjoy it rather than venturing out to SF. I've already recommended this place to friends. It's so delightful!

Our group of six friends had such a blast staying at Dave and Donna’s place. It was centrally located, clean, and had plenty of space for the group to spread out. He provided great food and wine recs in the area and was very responsive via messaging. We’d definitely stay at this home again if ever visiting the Sonoma area!

Classic Architecture with Modern Design in City Center

A true five (or six!) star experience. One of the best decorated Airbnb's I've ever stayed in. An older home with character, but renovated to have modern conveniences - high-end kitchen appliances, walk-in showers, and even high-tech toilets. It has a wonderful deck off the kitchen with flowering plants and lots of privacy. Terrific and responsive host who proactively made check-in easy and flexible. Location was fantastic. The neighborhood was great with good restaurants and grocery stores within walking distance. Access to the rest of downtown SF was a breeze with Uber and Waymo (my father is in his 80s so we didn't try public transportation). My father and I loved our stay and it will be at the top of my list the next time I'm in SF. Perhaps the best overall Airbnb I've ever stayed in.

We were in town for a family wedding and not enough room at our families main house, hence the Air bnb solution. Our Grandaughter felt very comfortable (not scared of a new place) and come the end of our stay she said she hated to leave the cute tiny house, and asked if we could stay again. We told her yes. Parker was perfect in making everything easy.
