Great location in Carnelian Bay overlooking the lake. Nice house with well stocked kitchen and amenities. Close to many Lake Tahoe destinations and host was very proactive in communication. Would recommend staying here and had a great time! Look forward to future trips.

Ally was great to work with, very responsive and friendly. The place was exactly as I expected and looked just like the photos. I had not originally booked this spot, I had reserved another place owned by the same host, but when it unexpectedly needed repairs, Ally upgraded me to this condo at no extra charge. So while it wasn't what I had expected originally, it was still very nice. That bed is SO comfortable! It was very quiet and peaceful, and it had everything I needed. I had come to do a writing retreat for myself, so I didn't really leave much or go sightseeing or anything, but I would definitely recommend this place for anyone looking to explore Tahoe or ski. And I'd definitely book again if the opportunity arose!

We had such a great stay here with family and friends over the weekend! The cabin was beautiful, in a great location, and the host was super friendly and responsive. One thing that really stood out was how well-stocked everything was, which isn’t something we’ve typically seen at other Airbnbs. The kitchen had everything we needed, from pots and pans to coffee machines, spices, and seasonings, which was perfect since we did a lot of cooking. Just a heads-up if you’re a coffee person: they provide the machines but not the coffee, so be sure to bring your own! The place was also dog-friendly, which was a huge plus. We loved that there were tons of games, activities, and even outdoor gear to keep everyone entertained. You can tell the host really cares about the guest experience, and we’d definitely stay here again. Highly recommend!

Ron's house was clean, spacious and very comfortable. The location was great - just 20 min from the Lassen visitor center. In addition, there is a road closed in the winter that was right near the house and we had beautiful walks on the snowy road without even getting in the car. Lovely house and we look forward to staying there again.

Had a great time at this place while doing 2 days skiing at Tahoe donner downhill. For a studio it had everything we needed for a great spring ski weekend. The convenience factor is great.

Our stay was great. Chris was very responsive whenever we communicated with him. The place was great, good location and very clean. It was convenient to be by the grocery store and local restaurants. We typically cook during our trips as well and loved that the place was well stocked with all the kitchen things we needed.

This is our second time staying in Northstar and this time around we really liked the condo we stayed in. The kitchen was newly remodeled and it fully loaded with all the basic essentials to make a meal. The deck off the living was a nice spot to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning and bird watch. My family had a great time playing with the mini foosball table and we loved the rec center. So much to do! The rec center staff were very helpful and polite. We look forward to booking again in the near future!!

What stands out most about Lori’s place is the location. Walking distance to Target, all the eating places, Heavenly Village and the beach. The place is kept clean and filled with amenities. We were able to cook breakfast without any issues. Lori had beddings and towels for all of us. She also communicated with us regularly. Our stay at Lori’s was awesome! Thanks!

Beautiful place, do not have anything to complain about. I liked the cleanliness, well equipped and that all three bathrooms had showers in them. Located near shops and restaurants with beautiful views of the mountains.

Patrick was one of the best hosts I’ve had with Airbnb. He was super communicative, friendly, and accommodating. We stayed here for a weekend snowboarding trip in June and it was super convenient! The place had everything we needed and Patrick was always super responsive if we needed anything. I’d definitely recommend staying here all year round!!

My family and I had a blissful stay at this quiet and quaint cottage up on the ridge overlooking the lake. Everything was very neat and clean, the place is tastefully decorated, and it immediately felt like a home away from home. Shannon was extremely responsive and helpful throughout our stay, and she provided some great recommendations for local businesses to check out in the area. We were glad we chose to stay here and will definitely be back!

Cool Tahoe-Donner Gambrel style house with great views.

A great base for enjoying late winter snow! The hosts were super responsive and accommodating. The house was very clean with cute touches. A fun discovery was walking to the creek at the bottom of Long Barn Sugar Pine Road, with the potential for longer hikes/snowshoeing along the creek. Note that the house is at the top of a short but fairly steep road (or slightly longer, less steep road), which would have been challenging for us in snow (2WD w/ chains) but manageable for 4WD. Neighbors staying across the street with sedans parked along the main road during the snow storm and walked up until the plows came through, so that's an option too.

Love Neals place, so serene, literally! The three bed was great for our family. The kitchen was very well stocked and the road the home is on is so sweet. In the winter, be prepared for snow for the ski bunnies! Soda springs is at the highest elevation… We came looking for snow and found it. I bet the lake in the summer is gorgeous too. Staying at this cabin was a pleasure. The location was perfect not far from Pinecrest lake, the home was cozy and clean, and Alicia was always available to answer our questions. Highly recommend staying here!

We had a great time at the cabin. Our kids loved it so much that they kept asking us if it we could stay longer. It's such a great location for activity's near Donner Lake and Truckee. Also, really appreciated the great kitchen for cooking home meals. Thank you again for letting us stay at your wonderful cabin and hopefully we can return in the future!
